Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not had only broken the sabbath, but said that also God was his Father, making himself equal with God.

Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me?

And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers;) and ye on the sabbath day circumcise a man.
Καὶ ναὸν οὐκ εἶδον ἐν αὐτῇ ὁ γὰρ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὁ παντοκράτωρ ναὸς αὐτῆς ἐστιν καὶ τὸ ἀρνίον
And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
ἢ οὐκ ἀνέγνωτε ἐν τῷ νόμῳ ὅτι τοῖς σάββασιν οἱ ἱερεῖς ἐν τῷ ἱερῷ τὸ σάββατον βεβηλοῦσιν καὶ ἀναίτιοί εἰσιν
Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless?
