אָז יִזְעֲקוּ אֶל-יְהוָה וְלֹא יַעֲנֶה אוֹתָם וְיַסְתֵּר פָּנָיו מֵהֶם בָּעֵת הַהִיא כַּאֲשֶׁר הֵרֵעוּ מַעַלְלֵיהֶֽם׃
Then shall they cry unto the LORD, but he will not hear them: he will even hide his face from them at that time, as they have behaved themselves ill in their doings.
רְצוֹן-יְרֵאָיו יַעֲשֶׂה וְֽאֶת-שַׁוְעָתָם יִשְׁמַע וְיוֹשִׁיעֵֽם׃
He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.
אָז יִקְרָאֻנְנִי וְלֹא אֶֽעֱנֶה יְשַׁחֲרֻנְנִי וְלֹא יִמְצָאֻֽנְנִי׃
Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:
וַיְהִי כַאֲשֶׁר-קָרָא וְלֹא שָׁמֵעוּ כֵּן יִקְרְאוּ וְלֹא אֶשְׁמָע אָמַר יְהוָה צְבָאֽוֹת׃
Therefore it is come to pass, that as he cried, and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not hear, saith the LORD of hosts:
עֵינֵי יְהוָה אֶל-צַדִּיקִים וְאָזְנָיו אֶל-שַׁוְעָתָֽם׃
The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
אֹטֵם אָזְנוֹ מִזַּעֲקַת-דָּל גַּֽם-הוּא יִקְרָא וְלֹא יֵעָנֶֽה׃
Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard.
אָוֶן אִם-רָאִיתִי בְלִבִּי לֹא יִשְׁמַע׀ אֲדֹנָֽי׃
If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:
οὐχ ὑμεῖς με ἐξελέξασθε ἀλλ' ἐγὼ ἐξελεξάμην ὑμᾶς καὶ ἔθηκα ὑμᾶς ἵνα ὑμεῖς ὑπάγητε καὶ καρπὸν φέρητε καὶ ὁ καρπὸς ὑμῶν μένῃ ἵνα ὅ τι ἂν αἰτήσητε τὸν πατέρα ἐν τῷ ὀνόματί μου δῷ ὑμῖν
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
וְגַם-אֲנִי אֶעֱשֶׂה בְחֵמָה לֹֽא-תָחוֹס עֵינִי וְלֹא אֶחְמֹל וְקָרְאוּ בְאָזְנַי קוֹל גָּדוֹל וְלֹא אֶשְׁמַע אוֹתָֽם׃
Therefore will I also deal in fury: mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them.
כִּי מַה-תִּקְוַת חָנֵף כִּי יִבְצָע כִּי יֵשֶׁל אֱלוֹהַּ נַפְשֽׁוֹ׃
For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soul?

Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.
כִּי יָצֻמוּ אֵינֶנִּי שֹׁמֵעַ אֶל-רִנָּתָם וְכִי יַעֲלוּ עֹלָה וּמִנְחָה אֵינֶנִּי רֹצָם כִּי בַּחֶרֶב וּבָרָעָב וּבַדֶּבֶר אָנֹכִי מְכַלֶּה אוֹתָֽם׃
When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and an oblation, I will not accept them: but I will consume them by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence.
יְשַׁוְּעוּ וְאֵין-מוֹשִׁיעַ עַל-יְהוָה וְלֹא עָנָֽם׃
They cried, but there was none to save them: even unto the LORD, but he answered them not.

Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
וְעַתָּה קְחֽוּ-לָכֶם שִׁבְעָֽה-פָרִים וְשִׁבְעָה אֵילִים וּלְכוּ׀ אֶל-עַבְדִּי אִיּוֹב וְהַעֲלִיתֶם עוֹלָה בַּֽעַדְכֶם וְאִיּוֹב עַבְדִּי יִתְפַּלֵּל עֲלֵיכֶם כִּי אִם-פָּנָיו אֶשָּׂא לְבִלְתִּי עֲשׂוֹת עִמָּכֶם נְבָלָה כִּי לֹא דִבַּרְתֶּם אֵלַי נְכוֹנָה כְּעַבְדִּי אִיּֽוֹב׃
Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Job.
