Ὁρᾶτε μὴ καταφρονήσητε ἑνὸς τῶν μικρῶν τούτων· λέγω γὰρ ὑμῖν ὅτι οἱ ἄγγελοι αὐτῶν ἐν οὐρανοῖς διὰ παντὸς βλέπουσιν τὸ πρόσωπον τοῦ πατρός μου τοῦ ἐν οὐρανοῖς
Take heed that ye despise not one of these ones; little for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.

The wicked is driven away in his wickedness: but the righteous hath hope in his death.

And so I saw the wicked buried, who had come and gone from the place of the holy, and they were forgotten in the city where they had so done: this is also vanity.
τί γὰρ ὠφελήσει ἄνθρωπον ἐὰν κερδήσῃ τὸν κόσμον ὅλον καὶ ζημιωθῃ τὴν ψυχὴν αὐτοῦ
For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
הַצַּדִּיק אָבָד וְאֵין אִישׁ שָׂם עַל-לֵב וְאַנְשֵׁי-חֶסֶד נֶֽאֱסָפִים בְּאֵין מֵבִין כִּֽי-מִפְּנֵי הָרָעָה נֶאֱסַף הַצַּדִּֽיק׃
The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.
(יבלו) יְכַלּוּ בַטּוֹב יְמֵיהֶם וּבְרֶגַע שְׁאוֹל יֵחָֽתּוּ׃
They spend their days in wealth, and in a moment go down to the grave.
οὐχὶ πάντες εἰσὶν λειτουργικὰ πνεύματα εἰς διακονίαν ἀποστελλόμενα διὰ τοὺς μέλλοντας κληρονομεῖν σωτηρίαν
Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
καὶ ἀποστελεῖ τοὺς ἀγγέλους αὐτοῦ μετὰ σάλπιγγος φωνῆς μεγάλης καὶ ἐπισυνάξουσιν τοὺς ἐκλεκτοὺς αὐτοῦ ἐκ τῶν τεσσάρων ἀνέμων ἀπ' ἄκρων οὐρανῶν ἕως ἄκρων αὐτῶν
And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
εἶπεν δὲ αὐτῷ ὁ θεός Ἄφρων ταύτῃ τῇ νυκτὶ τὴν ψυχήν σου ἀπαιτοῦσιν ἀπὸ σοῦ· ἃ δὲ ἡτοίμασας τίνι ἔσται
But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?

For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
כִּי לְיוֹם אֵיד יֵחָשֶׂךְ רָע לְיוֹם עֲבָרוֹת יוּבָֽלוּ׃
That the wicked is reserved to the day of destruction? they shall be brought forth to the day of wrath.
ἦν δέ ἀνακείμενος εἷς τῶν μαθητῶν αὐτοῦ ἐν τῷ κόλπῳ τοῦ Ἰησοῦ ὃν ἠγάπα ὁ Ἰησοῦς·
Now there was leaning on Jesus' bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved.
אַךְ בַּחֲלָקוֹת תָּשִׁית לָמוֹ הִפַּלְתָּם לְמַשּׁוּאֽוֹת׃
Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction.
כִּֽי-עַתָּה שָׁכַבְתִּי וְאֶשְׁקוֹט יָשַׁנְתִּי אָז׀ יָנוּחַֽ לִֽי׃
For now should I have lain still and been quiet, I should have slept: then had I been at rest,
וַיָּבֹא וַיֹּאכַל וַיֵּשְׁתְּ וַיֹּאמֶר פִּקְדוּ-נָא אֶת-הָֽאֲרוּרָה הַזֹּאת וְקִבְרוּהָ כִּי בַת-מֶלֶךְ הִֽיא׃
And when he was come in, he did eat and drink, and said, Go, see now this cursed woman, and bury her: for she is a king's daughter.
