Can a man be profitable unto God, as he that is wise may be profitable unto himself?
Ἐγὼ γάρ εἰμι ὁ ἐλάχιστος τῶν ἀποστόλων ὃς οὐκ εἰμὶ ἱκανὸς καλεῖσθαι ἀπόστολος διότι ἐδίωξα τὴν ἐκκλησίαν τοῦ θεοῦ·
For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
אִם-חָטָאתָ מַה-תִּפְעָל-בּוֹ וְרַבּוּ פְשָׁעֶיךָ מַה-תַּעֲשֶׂה-לּֽוֹ׃
If thou sinnest, what doest thou against him? or if thy transgressions be multiplied, what doest thou unto him?

But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weigheth the spirits.
πάντες ἐξέκλιναν ἅμα ἠχρειώθησαν· οὐκ ἔστιν ποιῶν χρηστότητα οὐκ ἔστιν ἕως ἑνός
They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.
ἀλλὰ μενοῦνγε καὶ ἡγοῦμαι πάντα ζημίαν εἶναι διὰ τὸ ὑπερέχον τῆς γνώσεως Χριστοῦ Ἰησοῦ τοῦ κυρίου μου δι' ὃν τὰ πάντα ἐζημιώθην καὶ ἡγοῦμαι σκύβαλα εἶναι ἵνα Χριστὸν κερδήσω
Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
τότε ἀποκριθήσονται αὐτῷ οἱ δίκαιοι λέγοντες Κύριε πότε σε εἴδομεν πεινῶντα καὶ ἐθρέψαμεν ἢ διψῶντα καὶ ἐποτίσαμεν
Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
וָאֹמַר אֽוֹי-לִי כִֽי-נִדְמֵיתִי כִּי אִישׁ טְמֵֽא-שְׂפָתַיִם אָנֹכִי וּבְתוֹךְ עַם-טְמֵא שְׂפָתַיִם אָנֹכִי יוֹשֵׁב כִּי אֶת-הַמֶּלֶךְ יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת רָאוּ עֵינָֽי׃
Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.
אָמַרְתְּ לַֽיהוָה אֲדֹנָי אָתָּה טוֹבָתִי בַּל-עָלֶֽיךָ׃
O my soul, thou hast said unto the LORD, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee;
καὶ τὸν ἀχρεῖον δοῦλον ἐκβάλλετε εἰς τὸ σκότος τὸ ἐξώτερον· ἐκεῖ ἔσται ὁ κλαυθμὸς καὶ ὁ βρυγμὸς τῶν ὀδόντων
And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
יְֽהִי-דַרְכָּם חֹשֶׁךְ וַֽחֲלַקְלַקֹּת וּמַלְאַךְ יְהוָה רֹדְפָֽם׃
Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the LORD persecute them.
τόν ποτέ σοι ἄχρηστον νυνὶ δέ σοι καὶ ἐμοὶ εὔχρηστον
Which was in time past to thee unprofitable, but now profitable to thee and to me:
