And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.

These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.
וְכֹל כְּלֵי בֵּית הָֽאֱלֹהִים הַגְּדֹלִים וְהַקְּטַנִּים וְאֹֽצְרוֹת בֵּית יְהוָה וְאֹֽצְרוֹת הַמֶּלֶךְ וְשָׂרָיו הַכֹּל הֵבִיא בָבֶֽל׃
And all the vessels of the house of God, great and small, and the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king, and of his princes; all these he brought to Babylon.
οἱ δὲ ἀρχιερεῖς λαβόντες τὰ ἀργύρια εἶπον Οὐκ ἔξεστιν βαλεῖν αὐτὰ εἰς τὸν κορβανᾶν ἐπεὶ τιμὴ αἵματός ἐστιν
And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not for to lawful put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood.
וָאֽוֹצְרָה עַל-אֽוֹצָרוֹת שֶֽׁלֶמְיָה הַכֹּהֵן וְצָדוֹק הַסּוֹפֵר וּפְדָיָה מִן-הַלְוִיִּם וְעַל-יָדָם חָנָן בֶּן-זַכּוּר בֶּן-מַתַּנְיָה כִּי נֶֽאֱמָנִים נֶחְשָׁבוּ וַֽעֲלֵיהֶם לַֽחֲלֹק לַֽאֲחֵיהֶֽם׃
And I made treasurers over the treasuries, Shelemiah the priest, and Zadok the scribe, and of the Levites, Pedaiah: and next to them was Hanan the son of Zaccur, the son of Mattaniah: for they were counted faithful, and their office was to distribute unto their brethren.
וְכֹל׀ כֶּסֶף וְזָהָב וּכְלֵי נְחֹשֶׁת וּבַרְזֶל קֹדֶשׁ הוּא לַֽיהוָה אוֹצַר יְהוָה יָבֽוֹא׃
But all the silver, and gold, and vessels of brass and iron, are consecrated unto the LORD: they shall come into the treasury of the LORD.
וַיּוֹצֵא מִשָּׁם אֶת-כָּל-אֽוֹצְרוֹת בֵּית יְהוָה וְאֽוֹצְרוֹת בֵּית הַמֶּלֶךְ וַיְקַצֵּץ אֶת-כָּל-כְּלֵי הַזָּהָב אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה שְׁלֹמֹה מֶֽלֶךְ-יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּהֵיכַל יְהוָה כַּֽאֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר יְהוָֽה׃
And he carried out thence all the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king's house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold which Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of the LORD, as the LORD had said.
ὑμεῖς δὲ λέγετε Ἐὰν εἴπῃ ἄνθρωπος τῷ πατρὶ ἢ τῇ μητρί Κορβᾶν ὅ ἐστιν Δῶρον ὃ ἐὰν ἐξ ἐμοῦ ὠφεληθῇς
But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free.
וַיִּקַּח אֶת-אֹֽצְרוֹת בֵּית-יְהוָה וְאֶת-אֽוֹצְרוֹת בֵּית הַמֶּלֶךְ וְאֶת-הַכֹּל לָקָח וַיִּקַּח אֶת-כָּל-מָֽגִנֵּי הַזָּהָב אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה שְׁלֹמֹֽה׃
And he took away the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king's house; he even took away all: and he took away all the shields of gold which Solomon had made.
וְהָעִיר שָֽׂרְפוּ בָאֵשׁ וְכָל-אֲשֶׁר-בָּהּ רַק׀ הַכֶּסֶף וְהַזָּהָב וּכְלֵי הַנְּחֹשֶׁת וְהַבַּרְזֶל נָֽתְנוּ אוֹצַר בֵּית-יְהוָֽה׃
And they burnt the city with fire, and all that was therein: only the silver, and the gold, and the vessels of brass and of iron, they put into the treasury of the house of the LORD.
