For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
וְאָֽמַרְתָּ בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא אוֹדְךָ יְהוָה כִּי אָנַפְתָּ בִּי יָשֹׁב אַפְּךָ וּֽתְנַחֲמֵֽנִי׃
And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.
זַמְּרוּ לַיהוָה בְּכִנּוֹר בְּכִנּוֹר וְקוֹל זִמְרָֽה׃
Sing unto the LORD with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.
ὁ δὲ θεὸς οὐ μὴ ποιήσει τὴν ἐκδίκησιν τῶν ἐκλεκτῶν αὐτοῦ τῶν βοώντων πρὸς αὐτόν ἡμέρας καὶ νυκτός καὶ μακροθυμῶν ἐπ' αὐτοῖς
And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?
בִּלַּע הַמָּוֶת לָנֶצַח וּמָחָה אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה דִּמְעָה מֵעַל כָּל-פָּנִים וְחֶרְפַּת עַמּוֹ יָסִיר מֵעַל כָּל-הָאָרֶץ כִּי יְהוָה דִּבֵּֽר׃
He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.
ὅς ἐστιν ἀῤῥαβὼν τῆς κληρονομίας ἡμῶν εἰς ἀπολύτρωσιν τῆς περιποιήσεως εἰς ἔπαινον τῆς δόξης αὐτοῦ
Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
