λαβὼν δὲ τοὺς πέντε ἄρτους καὶ τοὺς δύο ἰχθύας ἀναβλέψας εἰς τὸν οὐρανὸν εὐλόγησεν αὐτοὺς καὶ κατέκλασεν καὶ ἐδίδου τοῖς μαθηταῖς παρατιθέναι τῷ ὄχλῳ
Then he took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed them, and brake, and gave to the disciples to set before the multitude.
ὁ φρονῶν τὴν ἡμέραν κυρίῳ φρονεῖ· καὶ ὁ μὴ φρονῶν τὴν ἡμέραν κυρίῳ οὐ φρονεῖ· ὁ ἐσθίων κυρίῳ ἐσθίει εὐχαριστεῖ γὰρ τῷ θεῷ· καὶ ὁ μὴ ἐσθίων Κυρίῳ οὐκ ἐσθίει καὶ εὐχαριστεῖ τῷ θεῷ
He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.
וְלֹֽא-יִפְרְסוּ לָהֶם עַל-אֵבֶל לְנַחֲמוֹ עַל-מֵת וְלֹֽא-יַשְׁקוּ אוֹתָם כּוֹס תַּנְחוּמִים עַל-אָבִיו וְעַל-אִמּֽוֹ׃
Neither shall men tear themselves for them in mourning, to comfort them for the dead; neither shall men give them the cup of consolation to drink for their father or for their mother.
וְאָֽכַלְתָּ וְשָׂבָעְתָּ וּבֵֽרַכְתָּ אֶת-יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ עַל-הָאָרֶץ הַטֹּבָה אֲשֶׁר נָֽתַן-לָֽךְ׃
When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the LORD thy God for the good land which he hath given thee.
תַּעֲרֹךְ לְפָנַי׀ שֻׁלְחָן נֶגֶד צֹרְרָי דִּשַּׁנְתָּ בַשֶּׁמֶן רֹאשִׁי כּוֹסִי רְוָיָֽה׃
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
כְּבֹֽאֲכֶם הָעִיר כֵּן תִּמְצְאוּן אֹתוֹ בְּטֶרֶם יַֽעֲלֶה הַבָּמָתָה לֶֽאֱכֹל כִּי לֹֽא-יֹאכַל הָעָם עַד-בֹּאוֹ כִּי-הוּא יְבָרֵךְ הַזֶּבַח אַֽחֲרֵי-כֵן יֹֽאכְלוּ הַקְּרֻאִים וְעַתָּה עֲלוּ כִּֽי-אֹתוֹ כְהַיּוֹם תִּמְצְאוּן אֹתֽוֹ׃
As soon as ye be come into the city, ye shall straightway find him, before he go up to the high place to eat: for the people will not eat until he come, because he doth bless the sacrifice; and afterwards they eat that be bidden. Now therefore get you up; for about this time ye shall find him.
