Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.
הוֹי כָּל-צָמֵא לְכוּ לַמַּיִם וַאֲשֶׁר אֵֽין-לוֹ כָּסֶף לְכוּ שִׁבְרוּ וֶֽאֱכֹלוּ וּלְכוּ שִׁבְרוּ בְּלוֹא-כֶסֶף וּבְלוֹא מְחִיר יַיִן וְחָלָֽב׃
Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
ὃς ἐῤῥύσατο ἡμᾶς ἐκ τῆς ἐξουσίας τοῦ σκότους καὶ μετέστησεν εἰς τὴν βασιλείαν τοῦ υἱοῦ τῆς ἀγάπης αὐτοῦ
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
οὕτως καὶ ὑμεῖς ὅταν ἴδητε ταῦτα γινόμενα γινώσκετε ὅτι ἐγγύς ἐστιν ἡ βασιλεία τοῦ θεοῦ
So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
בָּאתִי לְגַנִּי אֲחֹתִי כַלָּה אָרִיתִי מוֹרִי עִם-בְּשָׂמִי אָכַלְתִּי יַעְרִי עִם-דִּבְשִׁי שָׁתִיתִי יֵינִי עִם-חֲלָבִי אִכְלוּ רֵעִים שְׁתוּ וְשִׁכְרוּ דּוֹדִֽים׃
I am come into my garden, my sister, my spouse: I have gathered my myrrh with my spice; I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk: eat, O friends; drink, yea, drink abundantly, O beloved.
וּֽבְיוֹמֵיהוֹן דִּי מַלְכַיָּא אִנּוּן יְקִים אֱלָהּ שְׁמַיָּא מַלְכוּ דִּי לְעָלְמִין לָא תִתְחַבַּל וּמַלְכוּתָה לְעַם אָחֳרָן לָא תִשְׁתְּבִק תַּדִּק וְתָסֵיף כָּל-אִלֵּין מַלְכְוָתָא וְהִיא תְּקוּם לְעָלְמַיָּֽא׃
And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God.
תְּנוּ-שֵׁכָר לְאוֹבֵד וְיַיִן לְמָרֵי נָֽפֶשׁ׃
Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts.
καὶ μὴ μεθύσκεσθε οἴνῳ ἐν ᾧ ἐστιν ἀσωτία ἀλλὰ πληροῦσθε ἐν πνεύματι
And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
καὶ λαβὼν τὸ ποτήριον εὐχαριστήσας ἔδωκεν αὐτοῖς καὶ ἔπιον ἐξ αὐτοῦ πάντες
And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it.
וְעָשָׂה יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת לְכָל-הָֽעַמִּים בָּהָר הַזֶּה מִשְׁתֵּה שְׁמָנִים מִשְׁתֵּה שְׁמָרִים שְׁמָנִים מְמֻחָיִם שְׁמָרִים מְזֻקָּקִֽים׃
And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.
בַּשִּׁיר לֹא יִשְׁתּוּ-יָיִן יֵמַר שֵׁכָר לְשֹׁתָֽיו׃
They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink shall be bitter to them that drink it.
יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת יָגֵן עֲלֵיהֶם וְאָכְלוּ וְכָֽבְשׁוּ אַבְנֵי-קֶלַע וְשָׁתוּ הָמוּ כְּמוֹ-יָיִן וּמָֽלְאוּ כַּמִּזְרָק כְּזָוִיּוֹת מִזְבֵּֽחַ׃
The LORD of hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour, and subdue with sling stones; and they shall drink, and make a noise as through wine; and they shall be filled like bowls, and as the corners of the altar.
κἀγὼ δέ σοι λέγω ὅτι σὺ εἶ Πέτρος καὶ ἐπὶ ταύτῃ τῇ πέτρᾳ οἰκοδομήσω μου τὴν ἐκκλησίαν καὶ πύλαι ᾅδου οὐ κατισχύσουσιν αὐτῆς
And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not against prevail it.
Καὶ ἔλεγεν αὐτοῖς Ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι εἰσίν τινες τῶν ὧδε ἑστηκότων οἵτινες οὐ μὴ γεύσωνται θανάτου ἕως ἂν ἴδωσιν τὴν βασιλείαν τοῦ θεοῦ ἐληλυθυῖαν ἐν δυνάμει
And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.
כִּי מַה-טּוּבוֹ וּמַה-יָפְיוֹ דָּגָן בַּֽחוּרִים וְתִירוֹשׁ יְנוֹבֵב בְּתֻלֽוֹת׃
For how great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! corn shall make the young men cheerful, and new wine the maids.
προφήτης οὖν ὑπάρχων καὶ εἰδὼς ὅτι ὅρκῳ ὤμοσεν αὐτῷ ὁ θεὸς ἐκ καρποῦ τῆς ὀσφύος αὐτοῦ τὸ κατὰ σάρκα ἀναστήσειν τὸν Χριστὸν καθίσαι ἐπὶ τοῦ θρόνου αὐτοῦ
Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn that with an oath to him, of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
וַתֹּאמֶר לָהֶם הַגֶּפֶן הֶֽחֳדַלְתִּי אֶת-תִּירוֹשִׁי הַֽמְשַׂמֵּחַ אֱלֹהִים וַֽאֲנָשִׁים וְהָלַכְתִּי לָנוּעַ עַל-הָֽעֵצִֽים׃
And the vine said unto them, Should I leave my wine, which cheereth God and man, and go to be promoted over the trees?
