Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know before, these things beware lest ye also, being led away with from the error of the wicked, fall your own stedfastness.
Οὗτοί εἰσιν πηγαὶ ἄνυδροι νεφέλαι ὑπὸ λαίλαπος ἐλαυνόμεναι οἷς ὁ ζόφος τοῦ σκότους εἰς αἰῶνα τετήρηται

τοῦτο οὖν βουλευόμενος μή τι ἄρα τῇ ἐλαφρίᾳ ἐχρησάμην; ἢ ἃ βουλεύομαι κατὰ σάρκα βουλεύομαι ἵνα ᾖ παρ' ἐμοὶ τὸ Ναὶ ναὶ καὶ τὸ Οὒ οὔ;
When I therefore was thus minded, did I use lightness? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be yea yea, and nay nay?
Τούτων δὲ πορευομένων ἤρξατο ὁ Ἰησοῦς λέγειν τοῖς ὄχλοις περὶ Ἰωάννου Τί ἐξήλθετε εἰς τὴν ἔρημον θεάσασθαι κάλαμον ὑπὸ ἀνέμου σαλευόμενον
And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind?
ἐγένετο Ἰωάννης βαπτίζων ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ καὶ κηρύσσων βάπτισμα μετανοίας εἰς ἄφεσιν ἁμαρτιῶν
John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.
