He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
ἀναγεγεννημένοι οὐκ ἐκ σπορᾶς φθαρτῆς ἀλλὰ ἀφθάρτου διὰ λόγου ζῶντος θεοῦ καὶ μένοντος εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
Ἔστιν δὲ αὕτη ἡ παραβολή· Ὁ σπόρος ἐστὶν ὁ λόγος τοῦ θεοῦ
Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
καὶ εὐθὲως συνήχθησαν πολλοὶ ὥστε μηκέτι χωρεῖν μηδὲ τὰ πρὸς τὴν θύραν καὶ ἐλάλει αὐτοῖς τὸν λόγον
And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them.
אַשְׁרֵיכֶם זֹרְעֵי עַל-כָּל-מָיִם מְשַׁלְּחֵי רֶֽגֶל-הַשּׁוֹר וְהַחֲמֽוֹר׃
Blessed are ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth thither the feet of the ox and the ass.
διὰ τὴν ἐλπίδα τὴν ἀποκειμένην ὑμῖν ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς ἣν προηκούσατε ἐν τῷ λόγῳ τῆς ἀληθείας τοῦ εὐαγγελίου
For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;
καθὼς παρέδοσαν ἡμῖν οἱ ἀπ' ἀρχῆς αὐτόπται καὶ ὑπηρέται γενόμενοι τοῦ λόγου
Even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word;
