For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.

And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;
ὡς κόκκῳ σινάπεως ὃς ὅταν σπαρῇ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς μικρότερος πάντων τῶν σπερμάτων ἐστὶν τῶν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς
It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:
וְנֵדְעָה נִרְדְּפָה לָדַעַת אֶת-יְהוָה כְּשַׁחַר נָכוֹן מֹֽצָאוֹ וְיָבוֹא כַגֶּשֶׁם לָנוּ כְּמַלְקוֹשׁ יוֹרֶה אָֽרֶץ׃
Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
πεποιθὼς αὐτὸ τοῦτο ὅτι ὁ ἐναρξάμενος ἐν ὑμῖν ἔργον ἀγαθὸν ἐπιτελέσει ἄχρις ἡμέρας Ἰησοῦ· Χριστοῦ
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
ὅτε δὲ ἐβλάστησεν ὁ χόρτος καὶ καρπὸν ἐποίησεν τότε ἐφάνη καὶ τὰ ζιζάνια
But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
ὑμᾶς δὲ ὁ κύριος πλεονάσαι καὶ περισσεύσαι τῇ ἀγάπῃ εἰς ἀλλήλους καὶ εἰς πάντας καθάπερ καὶ ἡμεῖς εἰς ὑμᾶς
And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you:
περιπατῆσαι ὑμᾶς ἀξίως τοῦ κυρίου εἰς πᾶσαν ἀρεσκείαν ἐν παντὶ ἔργῳ ἀγαθῷ καρποφοροῦντες καὶ αὐξανόμενοι εἰς τὴν ἐπιγνώσιν τοῦ θεοῦ
That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
לַכֹּל זְמָן וְעֵת לְכָל-חֵפֶץ תַּחַת הַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
כִּי כָאָרֶץ תּוֹצִיא צִמְחָהּ וּכְגַנָּה זֵרוּעֶיהָ תַצְמִיחַ כֵּן׀ אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה יַצְמִיחַ צְדָקָה וּתְהִלָּה נֶגֶד כָּל-הַגּוֹיִֽם׃
For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.
אֶת-הַכֹּל עָשָׂה יָפֶה בְעִתּוֹ גַּם אֶת-הָעֹלָם נָתַן בְּלִבָּם מִבְּלִי אֲשֶׁר לֹא-יִמְצָא הָאָדָם אֶת-הַֽמַּעֲשֶׂה אֲשֶׁר-עָשָׂה הָאֱלֹהִים מֵרֹאשׁ וְעַד-סֽוֹף׃
He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
שְׁתוּלִים בְּבֵית יְהוָה בְּחַצְרוֹת אֱלֹהֵינוּ יַפְרִֽיחוּ׃
Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.
וְעַתָּה אָרוּר אָתָּה מִן-הָֽאֲדָמָה אֲשֶׁר פָּצְתָה אֶת-פִּיהָ לָקַחַת אֶת-דְּמֵי אָחִיךָ מִיָּדֶֽךָ׃
And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand;
וַיֹּאמֶר אֱלֹהִים תַּֽדְשֵׁא הָאָרֶץ דֶּשֶׁא עֵשֶׂב מַזְרִיעַ זֶרַע עֵץ פְּרִי עֹשֶׂה פְּרִי לְמִינוֹ אֲשֶׁר זַרְעוֹ-בוֹ עַל-הָאָרֶץ וַֽיְהִי-כֵֽן׃
And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
וַיַּצְמַח יְהוָה אֱלֹהִים מִן-הָאֲדָמָה כָּל-עֵץ נֶחְמָד לְמַרְאֶה וְטוֹב לְמַֽאֲכָל וְעֵץ הַֽחַיִּים בְּתוֹךְ הַגָּן וְעֵץ הַדַּעַת טוֹב וָרָֽע׃
And out of the ground the LORD God made to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
אֵלֶּה תוֹלְדוֹת הַשָּׁמַיִם וְהָאָרֶץ בְּהִבָּֽרְאָם בְּיוֹם עֲשׂוֹת יְהוָה אֱלֹהִים אֶרֶץ וְשָׁמָֽיִם׃
These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,
וְאֹרַח צַדִּיקִים כְּאוֹר נֹגַהּ הוֹלֵךְ וָאוֹר עַד-נְכוֹן הַיּֽוֹם׃
But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.
וְֽהָיָה כְּעֵץ שָׁתוּל עַֽל-פַּלְגֵי מָיִם אֲשֶׁר פִּרְיוֹ׀ יִתֵּן בְּעִתּוֹ וְעָלֵהוּ לֹֽא-יִבּוֹל וְכֹל אֲשֶׁר-יַעֲשֶׂה יַצְלִֽיחַ׃
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
