כִּֽי-יִהְיֶה לְאִישׁ בֵּן סוֹרֵר וּמוֹרֶה אֵינֶנּוּ שֹׁמֵעַ בְּקוֹל אָבִיו וּבְקוֹל אִמּוֹ וְיִסְּרוּ אֹתוֹ וְלֹא יִשְׁמַע אֲלֵיהֶֽם׃
If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, which will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and that, when they have chastened him, will not hearken unto them:
שְׁמַע לְאָבִיךָ זֶה יְלָדֶךָ וְאַל-תָּבוּז כִּֽי-זָקְנָה אִמֶּֽךָ׃
Hearken unto thy father that begat thee, and despise not thy mother when she is old.
אִישׁ אִמּוֹ וְאָבִיו תִּירָאוּ וְאֶת-שַׁבְּתֹתַי תִּשְׁמֹרוּ אֲנִי יְהוָה אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶֽם׃
Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and keep my sabbaths: I am the LORD your God.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

Whoso curseth his father or his mother, his lamp shall be put out in obscure darkness.
אָרוּר מַקְלֶה אָבִיו וְאִמּוֹ וְאָמַר כָּל-הָעָם אָמֵֽן׃
Cursed be he that setteth light by his father or his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.
νόμον οὖν καταργοῦμεν διὰ τῆς πίστεως μὴ γένοιτο· ἀλλὰ νόμον ἱστῶμεν
Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
Μὴ νομίσητε ὅτι ἦλθον καταλῦσαι τὸν νόμον ἢ τοὺς προφήτας· οὐκ ἦλθον καταλῦσαι ἀλλὰ πληρῶσαι
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
עַיִן׀ תִּֽלְעַג לְאָב וְתָבֻז לִֽיקְּהַת-אֵם יִקְּרוּהָ עֹרְבֵי-נַחַל וְֽיֹאכְלוּהָ בְנֵי-נָֽשֶׁר׃
The eye that mocketh at his father, and despiseth to obey his mother, the ravens of the valley shall pick it out, and the young eagles shall eat it.
לְתוֹרָה וְלִתְעוּדָה אִם-לֹא יֹֽאמְרוּ כַּדָּבָר הַזֶּה אֲשֶׁר אֵֽין-לוֹ שָֽׁחַר׃
To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
Τότε λέγει αὐτῷ ὁ Ἰησοῦς Ὕπαγε Σατανᾶ· γέγραπται γάρ Κύριον τὸν Θεόν σου προσκυνήσεις καὶ αὐτῷ μόνῳ λατρεύσεις
Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
