Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
ἵνα τὸ δικαίωμα τοῦ νόμου πληρωθῇ ἐν ἡμῖν τοῖς μὴ κατὰ σάρκα περιπατοῦσιν ἀλλὰ κατὰ πνεῦμα
That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
τοῖς ἀνόμοις ὡς ἄνομος μὴ ὢν ἄνομος θεῷ ἀλλ' ἔννομος Χριστῷ ἵνα κερδήσω ἀνόμους·
To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.
Τί οὖν ἐροῦμεν ὁ νόμος ἁμαρτία μὴ γένοιτο· ἀλλὰ τὴν ἁμαρτίαν οὐκ ἔγνων εἰ μὴ διὰ νόμου· τήν τε γὰρ ἐπιθυμίαν οὐκ ᾔδειν εἰ μὴ ὁ νόμος ἔλεγεν Οὐκ ἐπιθυμήσεις
What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
τοῦτο δὲ λέγω· διαθήκην προκεκυρωμένην ὑπὸ τοῦ θεοῦ εἰς Χριστὸν ὁ μετὰ ἔτη τετρακόσια καὶ τριάκοντα γεγονὼς νόμος οὐκ ἀκυροῖ εἰς τὸ καταργῆσαι τὴν ἐπαγγελίαν
And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make promise of none effect. the
אֵיכָה תֹֽאמְרוּ חֲכָמִים אֲנַחְנוּ וְתוֹרַת יְהוָה אִתָּנוּ אָכֵן הִנֵּה לַשֶּׁקֶר עָשָׂה עֵט שֶׁקֶר סֹפְרִֽים׃
How do ye say, We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us? Lo, certainly in vain made he it; the pen of the scribes is in vain.
εἰ γὰρ οἱ ἐκ νόμου κληρονόμοι κεκένωται ἡ πίστις καὶ κατήργηται ἡ ἐπαγγελία·
For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect:
εἰ μέντοι νόμον τελεῖτε βασιλικὸν κατὰ τὴν γραφήν Ἀγαπήσεις τὸν πλησίον σου ὡς σεαυτόν καλῶς ποιεῖτε·
If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:
יְהוָה חָפֵץ לְמַעַן צִדְקוֹ יַגְדִּיל תּוֹרָה וְיַאְדִּֽיר׃
The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness' sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honourable.
לַֽעֲשֽׂוֹת-רְצוֹנְךָ אֱלֹהַי חָפָצְתִּי וְתוֹרָתְךָ בְּתוֹךְ מֵעָֽי׃
I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.
μὴ γένοιτο· γινέσθω δὲ ὁ θεὸς ἀληθής πᾶς δὲ ἄνθρωπος ψεύστης καθὼς γέγραπται Ὅπως ἂν δικαιωθῇς ἐν τοῖς λόγοις σου καὶ νικήσῃς ἐν τῷ κρίνεσθαί σε
God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
καὶ οὐ μὴ τιμήσῃ τὸν πατέρα αὐτοῦ· ἢ τὴν μητέρα αὐτοῦ· καὶ ἠκυρώσατε τὴν ἐντολὴν τοῦ θεοῦ διὰ τὴν παράδοσιν ὑμῶν
And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made of none effect the commandment of God by your tradition.
συνήδομαι γὰρ τῷ νόμῳ τοῦ θεοῦ κατὰ τὸν ἔσω ἄνθρωπον
For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
עֵת לַעֲשׂוֹת לַיהוָה הֵפֵרוּ תּוֹרָתֶֽךָ׃
It is time for thee, LORD, to work: for they have made void thy law.
ἐυχάριστῶ τῷ θεῷ διὰ Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ τοῦ κυρίου ἡμῶν ἄρα οὖν αὐτὸς ἐγὼ τῷ μὲν νοῒ δουλεύω νόμῳ θεοῦ τῇ δὲ σαρκὶ νόμῳ ἁμαρτίας
I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
Ἀποκριθεὶς δὲ ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτόν Ἄφες ἄρτι οὕτως γὰρ πρέπον ἐστὶν ἡμῖν πληρῶσαι πᾶσαν δικαιοσύνην Τότε ἀφίησιν αὐτόν
And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.
λέγω γὰρ ὑμῖν ὅτι ἐὰν μὴ περισσεύσῃ ἡ δικαιοσύνη ὑμῶν πλεῖον τῶν γραμματέων καὶ Φαρισαίων οὐ μὴ εἰσέλθητε εἰς τὴν βασιλείαν τῶν οὐρανῶν
For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.
