תִּזְרֵם וְרוּחַ תִּשָּׂאֵם וּסְעָרָה תָּפִיץ אוֹתָם וְאַתָּה תָּגִיל בַּֽיהוָה בִּקְדוֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵל תִּתְהַלָּֽל׃
Thou shalt fan them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them: and thou shalt rejoice in the LORD, and shalt glory in the Holy One of Israel.
וְשִׁלַּחְתִּי לְבָבֶל׀ זָרִים וְזֵרוּהָ וִיבֹקְקוּ אֶת-אַרְצָהּ כִּֽי-הָיוּ עָלֶיהָ מִסָּבִיב בְּיוֹם רָעָֽה׃

The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
πᾶν κλῆμα ἐν ἐμοὶ μὴ φέρον καρπόν αἴρει αὐτό καὶ πᾶν τὸ καρπὸν φέρον καθαίρει αὐτὸ ἵνα πλείονα καρπὸν φέρῃ

And if thy hand offend thee, cut off: it it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
יִֽהְיוּ כְּמֹץ לִפְנֵי-רוּחַ וּמַלְאַךְ יְהוָה דּוֹחֶֽה׃
Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the LORD chase them.
יִהְיוּ כְּתֶבֶן לִפְנֵי-רוּחַ וּכְמֹץ גְּנָבַתּוּ סוּפָֽה׃
They are as stubble before the wind, and as chaff that the storm carrieth away.
וְאָֽמַרְתָּ לְיַעַר הַנֶּגֶב שְׁמַע דְּבַר-יְהוָה כֹּֽה-אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה הִנְנִי מַֽצִּית-בְּךָ׀ אֵשׁ וְאָכְלָה בְךָ כָל-עֵֽץ-לַח וְכָל-עֵץ יָבֵשׁ לֹֽא-תִכְבֶּה לַהֶבֶת שַׁלְהֶבֶת וְנִצְרְבוּ-בָהּ כָּל-פָּנִים מִנֶּגֶב צָפֽוֹנָה׃
And say to the forest of the south, Hear the word of the LORD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree: the flaming flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north shall be burned therein.
וְהָיָה הֶחָסֹן לִנְעֹרֶת וּפֹעֲלוֹ לְנִיצוֹץ וּבָעֲרוּ שְׁנֵיהֶם יַחְדָּו וְאֵין מְכַבֶּֽה׃
And the strong shall be as tow, and the maker of it as a spark, and they shall both burn together, and none shall quench them.
οὕτως ἔσται ἐν τῇ συντελείᾳ τοῦ αἰῶνος· ἐξελεύσονται οἱ ἄγγελοι καὶ ἀφοριοῦσιν τοὺς πονηροὺς ἐκ μέσου τῶν δικαίων
So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,
וְיָצְאוּ וְרָאוּ בְּפִגְרֵי הָאֲנָשִׁים הַפֹּשְׁעִים בִּי כִּי תוֹלַעְתָּם לֹא תָמוּת וְאִשָּׁם לֹא תִכְבֶּה וְהָיוּ דֵרָאוֹן לְכָל-בָּשָֽׂר׃
And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
Τότε οἱ δίκαιοι ἐκλάμψουσιν ὡς ὁ ἥλιος ἐν τῇ βασιλείᾳ τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτῶν ὁ ἔχων ὦτα ἀκούειν ἀκουέτω
Then shall the shine righteous forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
וְהָאֲלָפִים וְהָעֲיָרִים עֹֽבְדֵי הָֽאֲדָמָה בְּלִיל חָמִיץ יֹאכֵלוּ אֲשֶׁר-זֹרֶה בָרַחַת וּבַמִּזְרֶֽה׃
The oxen likewise and the young asses that ear the ground shall eat clean provender, which hath been winnowed with the shovel and with the fan.
