Οἱ δοῦλοι ὑπακούετε κατὰ πάντα τοῖς κατὰ σάρκα κυρίοις μὴ ἐν ὀφθαλμοδουλείαις ὡς ἀνθρωπάρεσκοι ἀλλ' ἐν ἁπλότητι καρδίας φοβούμενοι τὸν Θεόν·
Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God:

For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.
καὶ ἐπετίμησεν αὐτῷ ὁ Ἰησοῦς λέγων Φιμώθητι καὶ ἔξελθε ἐξ αὐτοῦ καὶ ῥίψαν αὐτὸν τὸ δαιμόνιον εἰς τὸ μέσον ἐξῆλθεν ἀπ' αὐτοῦ μηδὲν βλάψαν αὐτόν
And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not.
הוֹי חֶרֶב לַֽיהוָה עַד-אָנָה לֹא תִשְׁקֹטִי הֵאָֽסְפִי אַל-תַּעְרֵךְ הֵרָגְעִי וָדֹֽמִּי׃
O thou sword of the LORD, how long will it be ere thou be quiet? put up thyself into thy scabbard, rest, and be still.
καὶ διεγερθεὶς ἐπετίμησεν τῷ ἀνέμῳ καὶ εἶπεν τῇ θαλάσσῃ Σιώπα πεφίμωσο καὶ ἐκόπασεν ὁ ἄνεμος καὶ ἐγένετο γαλήνη μεγάλη
And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
אוֹ חֶרֶב אָבִיא עַל-הָאָרֶץ הַהִיא וְאָמַרְתִּי חֶרֶב תַּעֲבֹר בָּאָרֶץ וְהִכְרַתִּי מִמֶּנָּה אָדָם וּבְהֵמָֽה׃
Or if I bring a sword upon that land, and say, Sword, go through the land; so that I cut off man and beast from it:
הֲתָרִים לָעָב קוֹלֶךָ וְֽשִׁפְעַת-מַיִם תְּכַסֶּֽךָּ׃
Canst thou lift up thy voice to the clouds, that abundance of waters may cover thee?
καὶ ἐπιστὰς ἐπάνω αὐτῆς ἐπετίμησεν τῷ πυρετῷ καὶ ἀφῆκεν αὐτήν· παραχρῆμα δὲ ἀναστᾶσα διηκόνει αὐτοῖς
And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered unto them.
לְֽמִשְׁפָּטֶיךָ עָמְדוּ הַיּוֹם כִּי הַכֹּל עֲבָדֶֽיךָ׃
They continue this day according to thine ordinances: for all are thy servants.
אֵשׁ וּבָרָד שֶׁלֶג וְקִיטוֹר רוּחַ סְעָרָה עֹשָׂה דְבָרֽוֹ׃
Fire, and hail; snow, and vapour; stormy wind fulfilling his word:
Οἱ δοῦλοι ὑπακούετε τοῖς κυρίοις κατὰ σάρκα μετὰ φόβου καὶ τρόμου ἐν ἁπλότητι τῆς καρδίας ὑμῶν ὡς τῷ Χριστῷ
Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;
