But we see Jesus, who was made lower a little than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace should of God taste death for every man.

Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
כִּי-יֶלֶד יֻלַּד-לָנוּ בֵּן נִתַּן-לָנוּ וַתְּהִי הַמִּשְׂרָה עַל-שִׁכְמוֹ וַיִּקְרָא שְׁמוֹ פֶּלֶא יוֹעֵץ אֵל גִּבּוֹר אֲבִי-עַד שַׂר-שָׁלֽוֹם׃
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
וַתְּחַסְּרֵהוּ מְּעַט מֵאֱלֹהִים וְכָבוֹד וְהָדָר תְּעַטְּרֵֽהוּ׃
For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
וְֽהוֹשִׁיעָם יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיהֶם בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא כְּצֹאן עַמּוֹ כִּי אַבְנֵי-נֵזֶר מִֽתְנוֹסְסוֹת עַל-אַדְמָתֽוֹ׃
And the LORD their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people: for they shall be as the stones of a crown, lifted up as an ensign upon his land.
καὶ ὤφθη ἄλλο σημεῖον ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ καὶ ἰδού δράκων μέγας πυῤῥός ἔχων κεφαλὰς ἑπτὰ καὶ κέρατα δέκα καὶ ἐπὶ τὰς κεφαλὰς αὐτοῦ διαδήματα ἑπτὰ
And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
הִשָּׁמֶר מִפָּנָיו וּשְׁמַע בְּקֹלוֹ אַל-תַּמֵּר בּוֹ כִּי לֹא יִשָּׂא לְפִשְׁעֲכֶם כִּי שְׁמִי בְּקִרְבּֽוֹ׃
Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.
וַיֹּאמֶר לוֹ מַלְאַךְ יְהוָה לָמָּה זֶּה תִּשְׁאַל לִשְׁמִי וְהוּא-פֶֽלִאי׃
And the angel of the LORD said unto him, Why askest thou thus after my name, seeing it is secret?
וְהָיִיתְ עֲטֶרֶת תִּפְאֶרֶת בְּיַד-יְהוָה (וצנוף) וּצְנִיף מְלוּכָה בְּכַף-אֱלֹהָֽיִךְ׃
Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.
וַיִּשְׁאַל יַֽעֲקֹב וַיֹּאמֶר הַגִּֽידָה-נָּא שְׁמֶךָ וַיֹּאמֶר לָמָּה זֶּה תִּשְׁאַל לִשְׁמִי וַיְבָרֶךְ אֹתוֹ שָֽׁם׃
And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.
καὶ εἶδον καὶ ἰδού ἵππος λευκός καὶ ὁ καθήμενος ἐπ' αὐτῷ ἔχων τόξον καὶ ἐδόθη αὐτῷ στέφανος καὶ ἐξῆλθεν νικῶν καὶ ἵνα νικήσῃ
And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

צְאֶינָה׀ וּֽרְאֶינָה בְּנוֹת צִיּוֹן בַּמֶּלֶךְ שְׁלֹמֹה בָּעֲטָרָה שֶׁעִטְּרָה-לּוֹ אִמּוֹ בְּיוֹם חֲתֻנָּתוֹ וּבְיוֹם שִׂמְחַת לִבּֽוֹ׃
Go forth, O ye daughters of Zion, and behold king Solomon with the crown wherewith his mother crowned him in the day of his espousals, and in the day of the gladness of his heart.
