And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get me honour upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.

Now therefore, O LORD our God, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the LORD, even thou only.
כִּי אִם-הַֽחֲרֵשׁ תַּֽחֲרִישִׁי בָּעֵת הַזֹּאת רֶוַח וְהַצָּלָה יַֽעֲמוֹד לַיְּהוּדִים מִמָּקוֹם אַחֵר וְאַתְּ וּבֵית-אָבִיךְ תֹּאבֵדוּ וּמִי יוֹדֵעַ אִם-לְעֵת כָּזֹאת הִגַּעַתְּ לַמַּלְכֽוּת׃
For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father's house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?

The people shall hear, and be afraid: sorrow shall take hold on the inhabitants of Palestina.
אוֹי לָנוּ מִי יַצִּילֵנוּ מִיַּד הָֽאֱלֹהִים הָֽאַדִּירִים הָאֵלֶּה אֵלֶּה הֵם הָֽאֱלֹהִים הַמַּכִּים אֶת-מִצְרַיִם בְּכָל-מַכָּה בַּמִּדְבָּֽר׃
Woe unto us! who shall deliver us out of the hand of these mighty Gods? these are the Gods that smote the Egyptians with all the plagues in the wilderness.
יֵבֹשׁוּ וְיִבָּהֲלוּ עֲדֵי-עַד וְֽיַחְפְּרוּ וְיֹאבֵֽדוּ׃
Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:
ἀλλὰ συνέκλεισεν ἡ γραφὴ τὰ πάντα ὑπὸ ἁμαρτίαν ἵνα ἡ ἐπαγγελία ἐκ πίστεως Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ δοθῇ τοῖς πιστεύουσιν
But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
וַיֹּאמֶר יִתְרוֹ בָּרוּךְ יְהוָה אֲשֶׁר הִצִּיל אֶתְכֶם מִיַּד מִצְרַיִם וּמִיַּד פַּרְעֹה אֲשֶׁר הִצִּיל אֶת-הָעָם מִתַּחַת יַד-מִצְרָֽיִם׃
And Jethro said, Blessed be the LORD, who hath delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of Pharaoh, who hath delivered the people from under the hand of the Egyptians.
וַתֹּאמֶר אֶל-הָאֲנָשִׁים יָדַעְתִּי כִּֽי-נָתַן יְהוָה לָכֶם אֶת-הָאָרֶץ וְכִֽי-נָפְלָה אֵֽימַתְכֶם עָלֵינוּ וְכִי נָמֹגוּ כָּל-יֹֽשְׁבֵי הָאָרֶץ מִפְּנֵיכֶֽם׃
And she said unto the men, I know that the LORD hath given you the land, and that your terror is fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you.
הוֹי אַשּׁוּר שֵׁבֶט אַפִּי וּמַטֶּה-הוּא בְיָדָם זַעְמִֽי׃
O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation.
προϊδοῦσα δὲ ἡ γραφὴ ὅτι ἐκ πίστεως δικαιοῖ τὰ ἔθνη ὁ θεὸς προευηγγελίσατο τῷ Ἀβραὰμ ὅτι Ἐνευλογηθήσονται ἐν σοὶ πάντα τὰ ἔθνη·
And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all be nations blessed.
ἀλλὰ τί λέγει αὐτῷ ὁ χρηματισμός Κατέλιπον ἐμαυτῷ ἑπτακισχιλίους ἄνδρας οἵτινες οὐκ ἔκαμψαν γόνυ τῇ Βάαλ
But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.
וְעַתָּה אָֽנֹכִי נָתַתִּי אֶת-כָּל-הָאֲרָצוֹת הָאֵלֶּה בְּיַד נְבוּכַדְנֶאצַּר מֶֽלֶךְ-בָּבֶל עַבְדִּי וְגַם אֶת-חַיַּת הַשָּׂדֶה נָתַתִּי לוֹ לְעָבְדֽוֹ׃
And now have I given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and the beasts of the field have I given him also to serve him.
