וָֽאֲכַלֵּם וָֽאֶמְחָצֵם וְלֹא יְקוּמוּן וַֽיִּפְּלוּ תַּחַת רַגְלָֽי׃
And I have consumed them, and wounded them, that they could not arise: yea, they are fallen under my feet.
וְגַם אַתָּה יָדַעְתָּ אֵת אֲשֶׁר-עָשָׂה לִי יוֹאָב בֶּן-צְרוּיָה אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה לִשְׁנֵֽי-שָׂרֵי צִבְאוֹת יִשְׂרָאֵל לְאַבְנֵר בֶּן-נֵר וְלַֽעֲמָשָׂא בֶן-יֶתֶר וַיַּהַרְגֵם וַיָּשֶׂם דְּמֵֽי-מִלְחָמָה בְּשָׁלֹם וַיִּתֵּן דְּמֵי מִלְחָמָה בַּחֲגֹֽרָתוֹ אֲשֶׁר בְּמָתְנָיו וּֽבְנַעֲלוֹ אֲשֶׁר בְּרַגְלָֽיו׃
Moreover thou knowest also what Joab the son of Zeruiah did to me, and what he did to the two captains of the hosts of Israel, unto Abner the son of Ner, and unto Amasa the son of Jether, whom he slew, and shed the blood of war in peace, and put the blood of war upon his girdle that was about his loins, and in his shoes that were on his feet.
אַתָּה יָדַעְתָּ אֶת-דָּוִד אָבִי כִּי לֹא יָכֹל לִבְנוֹת בַּיִת לְשֵׁם יְהוָה אֱלֹהָיו מִפְּנֵי הַמִּלְחָמָה אֲשֶׁר סְבָבֻהוּ עַד תֵּת-יְהוָה אֹתָם תַּחַת כַּפּוֹת (רגלו) רַגְלָֽי
Thou knowest how that David my father could not build an house unto the name of the LORD his God for the wars which were about him on every side, until the LORD put them under the soles of his feet.
וַיְהִי כִשְׁמֹעַ אֲחִיָּהוּ אֶת-קוֹל רַגְלֶיהָ בָּאָה בַפֶּתַח וַיֹּאמֶר בֹּאִי אֵשֶׁת יָֽרָבְעָם לָמָּה זֶּה אַתְּ מִתְנַכֵּרָה וְאָנֹכִי שָׁלוּחַ אֵלַיִךְ קָשָֽׁה׃
And it was so, when Ahijah heard the sound of her feet, as she came in at the door, that he said, Come in, thou wife of Jeroboam; why feignest thou thyself to be another? for I am sent to thee with heavy tidings.
וְאַתְּ קוּמִי לְכִי לְבֵיתֵךְ בְּבֹאָה רַגְלַיִךְ הָעִירָה וּמֵת הַיָּֽלֶד׃
Arise thou therefore, get thee to thine own house: and when thy feet enter into the city, the child shall die.
וְיֶתֶר כָּל-דִּבְרֵֽי-אָסָא וְכָל-גְּבוּרָתוֹ וְכָל-אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה וְהֶֽעָרִים אֲשֶׁר בָּנָה הֲלֹא-הֵמָּה כְתוּבִים עַל-סֵפֶר דִּבְרֵי הַיָּמִים לְמַלְכֵי יְהוּדָה רַק לְעֵת זִקְנָתוֹ חָלָה אֶת-רַגְלָֽיו׃
The rest of all the acts of Asa, and all his might, and all that he did, and the cities which he built, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? Nevertheless in the time of his old age he was diseased in his feet.
וַיִּשְׁלַח אֵלָיו בֶּן-הֲדַד וַיֹּאמֶר כֹּֽה-יַעֲשׂוּן לִי אֱלֹהִים וְכֹה יוֹסִפוּ אִם-יִשְׂפֹּק עֲפַר שֹֽׁמְרוֹן לִשְׁעָלִים לְכָל-הָעָם אֲשֶׁר בְּרַגְלָֽי׃
And Ben-hadad sent unto him, and said, The gods do so unto me, and more also, if the dust of Samaria shall suffice for handfuls for all the people that follow me.
וַיֵּלֶךְ מֶלֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵל וּמֶֽלֶך-יְהוּדָה וּמֶלֶךְ אֱדוֹם וַיָּסֹבּוּ דֶּרֶךְ שִׁבְעַת יָמִים וְלֹֽא-הָיָה מַיִם לַֽמַּחֲנֶה וְלַבְּהֵמָה אֲשֶׁר בְּרַגְלֵיהֶֽם׃
So the king of Israel went, and the king of Judah, and the king of Edom: and they fetched a compass of seven days' journey: and there was no water for the host, and for the cattle that followed them.
וַתָּבֹא אֶל-אִישׁ הָֽאֱלֹהִים אֶל-הָהָר וַֽתַּחֲזֵק בְּרַגְלָיו וַיִּגַּשׁ גֵּֽיחֲזִי לְהָדְפָהּ וַיֹּאמֶר אִישׁ הָֽאֱלֹהִים הַרְפֵּה-לָהּ כִּֽי-נַפְשָׁהּ מָֽרָה-לָהּ וַֽיהוָה הֶעְלִים מִמֶּנִּי וְלֹא הִגִּיד לִֽי׃
And when she came to the man of God to the hill, she caught him by the feet: but Gehazi came near to thrust her away. And the man of God said, Let her alone; for her soul is vexed within her: and the LORD hath hid it from me, and hath not told me.
וַתָּבֹא וַתִּפֹּל עַל-רַגְלָיו וַתִּשְׁתַּחוּ אָרְצָה וַתִּשָּׂא אֶת-בְּנָהּ וַתֵּצֵֽא׃
Then she went in, and fell at his feet, and bowed herself to the ground, and took up her son, and went out.
וֶֽאֱלִישָׁע יֹשֵׁב בְּבֵיתוֹ וְהַזְּקֵנִים יֹֽשְׁבִים אִתּוֹ וַיִּשְׁלַח אִישׁ מִלְּפָנָיו בְּטֶרֶם יָבֹא הַמַּלְאָךְ אֵלָיו וְהוּא׀ אָמַר אֶל-הַזְּקֵנִים הַרְּאִיתֶם כִּֽי-שָׁלַח בֶּן-הַֽמְרַצֵּחַ הַזֶּה לְהָסִיר אֶת-רֹאשִׁי רְאוּ׀ כְּבֹא הַמַּלְאָךְ סִגְרוּ הַדֶּלֶת וּלְחַצְתֶּם אֹתוֹ בַּדֶּלֶת הֲלוֹא קוֹל רַגְלֵי אֲדֹנָיו אַֽחֲרָֽיו׃
But Elisha sat in his house, and the elders sat with him; and the king sent a man from before him: but ere the messenger came to him, he said to the elders, See ye how this son of a murderer hath sent to take away mine head? look, when the messenger cometh, shut the door, and hold him fast at the door: is not the sound of his master's feet behind him?
וַיֵּֽלְכוּ לְקָבְרָהּ וְלֹא-מָצְאוּ בָהּ כִּי אִם-הַגֻּלְגֹּלֶת וְהָֽרַגְלַיִם וְכַפּוֹת הַיָּדָֽיִם׃
And they went to bury her: but they found no more of her than the skull, and the feet, and the palms of her hands.
וַיְהִי הֵם׀ קֹֽבְרִים אִישׁ וְהִנֵּה רָאוּ אֶֽת-הַגְּדוּד וַיַּשְׁלִיכוּ אֶת-הָאִישׁ בְּקֶבֶר אֱלִישָׁע וַיֵּלֶךְ וַיִּגַּע הָאִישׁ בְּעַצְמוֹת אֱלִישָׁע וַיְחִי וַיָּקָם עַל-רַגְלָֽיו׃
And it came to pass, as they were burying a man, that, behold, they spied a band of men; and they cast the man into the sepulchre of Elisha: and when the man was let down, and touched the bones of Elisha, he revived, and stood up on his feet.
וְלֹא אֹסִיף לְהָנִיד רֶגֶל יִשְׂרָאֵל מִן-הָאֲדָמָה אֲשֶׁר נָתַתִּי לַֽאֲבוֹתָם רַק׀ אִם-יִשְׁמְרוּ לַֽעֲשׂוֹת כְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר צִוִּיתִים וּלְכָל-הַתּוֹרָה אֲשֶׁר-צִוָּה אֹתָם עַבְדִּי מֹשֶֽׁה׃
Neither will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them.
וַיָּקָם דָּוִיד הַמֶּלֶךְ עַל-רַגְלָיו וַיֹּאמֶר שְׁמָעוּנִי אַחַי וְעַמִּי אֲנִי עִם-לְבָבִי לִבְנוֹת בֵּית מְנוּחָה לַֽאֲרוֹן בְּרִית-יְהוָה וְלַֽהֲדֹם רַגְלֵי אֱלֹהֵינוּ וַֽהֲכִינוֹתִי לִבְנֽוֹת׃
Then David the king stood up upon his feet, and said, Hear me, my brethren, and my people: As for me, I had in mine heart to build an house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and for the footstool of our God, and had made ready for the building:
כַּנְפֵי הַכְּרוּבִים הָאֵלֶּה פֹּֽרְשִׂים אַמּוֹת עֶשְׂרִים וְהֵם עֹֽמְדִים עַל-רַגְלֵיהֶם וּפְנֵיהֶם לַבָּֽיִת׃
The wings of these cherubims spread themselves forth twenty cubits: and they stood on their feet, and their faces were inward.
וַיֶּֽחֱלֶא אָסָא בִּשְׁנַת שְׁלוֹשִׁים וָתֵשַׁע לְמַלְכוּתוֹ בְּרַגְלָיו עַד-לְמַעְלָה חָלְיוֹ וְגַם-בְּחָלְיוֹ לֹֽא-דָרַשׁ אֶת-יְהוָה כִּי בָּרֹֽפְאִֽים׃
And Asa in the thirty and ninth year of his reign was diseased in his feet, until his disease was exceeding great: yet in his disease he sought not to the LORD, but to the physicians.
וְלֹא אֹסִיף לְהָסִיר אֶת-רֶגֶל יִשְׂרָאֵל מֵעַל הָֽאֲדָמָה אֲשֶׁר הֶֽעֱמַדְתִּי לַאֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶם רַק׀ אִם-יִשְׁמְרוּ לַֽעֲשׂוֹת אֵת כָּל-אֲשֶׁר צִוִּיתִים לְכָל-הַתּוֹרָה וְהַֽחֻקִּים וְהַמִּשְׁפָּטִים בְּיַד-מֹשֶֽׁה׃
Neither will I any more remove the foot of Israel from out of the land which I have appointed for your fathers; so that they will take heed to do all that I have commanded them, according to the whole law and the statutes and the ordinances by the hand of Moses.
וְאַרְבָּעִים שָׁנָה כִּלְכַּלְתָּם בַּמִּדְבָּר לֹא חָסֵרוּ שַׂלְמֹֽתֵיהֶם לֹא בָלוּ וְרַגְלֵיהֶם לֹא בָצֵֽקוּ׃
Yea, forty years didst thou sustain them in the wilderness, so that they lacked nothing; their clothes waxed not old, and their feet swelled not.
וַתּוֹסֶף אֶסְתֵּר וַתְּדַבֵּר לִפְנֵי הַמֶּלֶךְ וַתִּפֹּל לִפְנֵי רַגְלָיו וַתֵּבְךְּ וַתִּתְחַנֶּן-לוֹ לְהַֽעֲבִיר אֶת-רָעַת הָמָן הָֽאֲגָגִי וְאֵת מַֽחֲשַׁבְתּוֹ אֲשֶׁר חָשַׁב עַל-הַיְּהוּדִֽים׃
And Esther spake yet again before the king, and fell down at his feet, and besought him with tears to put away the mischief of Haman the Agagite, and his device that he had devised against the Jews.
וַיֵּצֵא הַשָּׂטָן מֵאֵת פְּנֵי יְהוָה וַיַּךְ אֶת-אִיּוֹב בִּשְׁחִין רָע מִכַּף רַגְלוֹ (עד) וְעַד קָדְקֳדֽוֹ׃
So went Satan forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.
לַפִּיד בּוּז לְעַשְׁתּוּת שַׁאֲנָן נָכוֹן לְמוֹעֲדֵי רָֽגֶל׃
He that is ready to slip with his feet is as a lamp despised in the thought of him that is at ease.
וְתָשֵׂם בַּסַּד׀ רַגְלַי וְתִשְׁמוֹר כָּל-אָרְחוֹתָי עַל-שָׁרְשֵׁי רַגְלַי תִּתְחַקֶּֽה׃
Thou puttest my feet also in the stocks, and lookest narrowly unto all my paths; thou settest a print upon the heels of my feet.
כִּֽי-שֻׁלַּח בְּרֶשֶׁת בְּרַגְלָיו וְעַל-שְׂבָכָה יִתְהַלָּֽךְ׃
For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare.
סָבִיב בִּֽעֲתֻהוּ בַלָּהוֹת וֶהֱפִיצֻהוּ לְרַגְלָֽיו׃
Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, and shall drive him to his feet.
בַּאֲשֻׁרוֹ אָחֲזָה רַגְלִי דַּרְכּוֹ שָׁמַרְתִּי וְלֹא-אָֽט׃
My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined.

The flood breaketh out from the inhabitant; even the waters forgotten of the foot: they are dried up, they are gone away from men.
עֵינַיִם הָיִיתִי לַֽעִוֵּר וְרַגְלַיִם לַפִּסֵּחַ אָֽנִי׃
I was eyes to the blind, and feet was I to the lame.
עַל-יָמִין פִּרְחַח יָקוּמוּ רַגְלַי שִׁלֵּחוּ וַיָּסֹלּוּ עָלַי אָרְחוֹת אֵידָֽם׃
Upon my right hand rise the youth; they push away my feet, and they raise up against me the ways of their destruction.

If I have walked with vanity, or if my foot hath hasted to deceit;

וַתִּשְׁכַּח כִּי-רֶגֶל תְּזוּרֶהָ וְחַיַּת הַשָּׂדֶה תְּדוּשֶֽׁהָ׃
And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them.
תַּמְשִׁילֵהוּ בְּמַעֲשֵׂי יָדֶיךָ כֹּל שַׁתָּה תַֽחַת-רַגְלָֽיו׃
Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:
טָבְעוּ גוֹיִם בְּשַׁחַת עָשׂוּ בְּרֶֽשֶׁת-זוּ טָמָנוּ נִלְכְּדָה רַגְלָֽם׃
The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.
וַיֵּט שָׁמַיִם וַיֵּרַד וַעֲרָפֶל תַּחַת רַגְלָֽיו׃
He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and darkness was under his feet.
מְשַׁוֶּה רַגְלַי כָּאַיָּלוֹת וְעַל בָּמֹתַי יַעֲמִידֵֽנִי׃
He maketh my feet like hinds' feet, and setteth me upon my high places.
אֶמְחָצֵם וְלֹא-יֻכְלוּ קוּם יִפְּלוּ תַּחַת רַגְלָֽי׃
I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen under my feet.
כִּי סְבָבוּנִי כְּלָבִים עֲדַת מְרֵעִים הִקִּיפוּנִי כָּאֲרִי יָדַי וְרַגְלָֽי׃
For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.
עֵינַי תָּמִיד אֶל-יְהוָה כִּי הֽוּא-יוֹצִיא מֵרֶשֶׁת רַגְלָֽי׃
Mine eyes are ever toward the LORD; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net.
רַגְלִי עָֽמְדָה בְמִישׁוֹר בְּמַקְהֵלִים אֲבָרֵךְ יְהוָֽה׃
My foot standeth in an even place: in the congregations will I bless the LORD.
וְלֹא הִסְגַּרְתַּנִי בְּיַד-אוֹיֵב הֶֽעֱמַדְתָּ בַמֶּרְחָב רַגְלָֽי׃
And hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a large room.
אַל-תְּבוֹאֵנִי רֶגֶל גַּאֲוָה וְיַד-רְשָׁעִים אַל-תְּנִדֵֽנִי׃
Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me.
כִּֽי-אָמַרְתִּי פֶּן-יִשְׂמְחוּ-לִי בְּמוֹט רַגְלִי עָלַי הִגְדִּֽילוּ׃
For I said, Hear me, lest otherwise they should rejoice over me: when my foot slippeth, they magnify themselves against me.
וַיַּעֲלֵנִי׀ מִבּוֹר שָׁאוֹן מִטִּיט הַיָּוֵן וַיָּקֶם עַל-סֶלַע רַגְלַי כּוֹנֵן אֲשֻׁרָֽי׃
He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
יַדְבֵּר עַמִּים תַּחְתֵּינוּ וּלְאֻמִּים תַּחַת רַגְלֵֽינוּ׃
He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.
כִּי הִצַּלְתָּ נַפְשִׁי מִמָּוֶת הֲלֹא רַגְלַי מִדֶּחִי לְהִֽתְהַלֵּךְ לִפְנֵי אֱלֹהִים בְּאוֹר הַֽחַיִּֽים׃
For thou hast delivered my soul from death: wilt not thou deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living?
הָפַךְ יָם׀ לְֽיַבָּשָׁה בַּנָּהָר יַֽעַבְרוּ בְרָגֶל שָׁם נִשְׂמְחָה-בּֽוֹ׃
He turned the sea into dry land: they went through the flood on foot: there did we rejoice in him.
הַשָּׂם נַפְשֵׁנוּ בַּֽחַיִּים וְלֹֽא-נָתַן לַמּוֹט רַגְלֵֽנוּ׃
Which holdeth our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved.
לְמַעַן׀ תִּֽמְחַץ רַגְלְךָ בְּדָם לְשׁוֹן כְּלָבֶיךָ מֵאֹיְבִים מִנֵּֽהוּ׃
That thy foot may be dipped in the blood of thine enemies, and the tongue of thy dogs in the same.
וַאֲנִי כִּמְעַט נָטָיוּ רַגְלָי כְּאַיִן נָטָיוּ אֲשֻׁרָֽי׃
But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped.
עַל-כַּפַּיִם יִשָּׂאוּנְךָ פֶּן-תִּגֹּף בָּאֶבֶן רַגְלֶֽךָ׃
They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
אִם-אָמַרְתִּי מָטָה רַגְלִי חַסְדְּךָ יְהוָה יִסְעָדֵֽנִי׃
When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O LORD, held me up.
רֽוֹמְמוּ יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ וְֽהִשְׁתַּחֲווּ לַהֲדֹם רַגְלָיו קָדוֹשׁ הֽוּא׃
Exalt ye the LORD our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.
עִנּוּ בַכֶּבֶל (רגליו) רַגְלוֹ בַּרְזֶל בָּאָה נַפְשֽׁוֹ׃
Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:
נְאֻם יְהוָה׀ לַֽאדֹנִי שֵׁב לִֽימִינִי עַד-אָשִׁית אֹיְבֶיךָ הֲדֹם לְרַגְלֶֽיךָ׃
The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
יְדֵיהֶם׀ וְלֹא יְמִישׁוּן רַגְלֵיהֶם וְלֹא יְהַלֵּכוּ לֹֽא-יֶהְגּוּ בִּגְרוֹנָֽם׃
They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.
כִּי חִלַּצְתָּ נַפְשִׁי מִמָּוֶת אֶת-עֵינִי מִן-דִּמְעָה אֶת-רַגְלִי מִדֶּֽחִי׃
For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.
חִשַּׁבְתִּי דְרָכָי וָאָשִׁיבָה רַגְלַי אֶל-עֵדֹתֶֽיךָ׃
I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies.
מִכָּל-אֹרַח רָע כָּלִאתִי רַגְלָי לְמַעַן אֶשְׁמֹר דְּבָרֶֽךָ׃
I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word.
נֵר-לְרַגְלִי דְבָרֶךָ וְאוֹר לִנְתִיבָתִֽי׃
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
אַל-יִתֵּן לַמּוֹט רַגְלֶךָ אַל-יָנוּם שֹֽׁמְרֶֽךָ׃
He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
עֹמְדוֹת הָיוּ רַגְלֵינוּ בִּשְׁעָרַיִךְ יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃
Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.
נָבוֹאָה לְמִשְׁכְּנוֹתָיו נִשְׁתַּחֲוֶה לַהֲדֹם רַגְלָֽיו׃
We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool.
בְּנִי אַל-תֵּלֵךְ בְּדֶרֶךְ אִתָּם מְנַע רַגְלְךָ מִנְּתִיבָתָֽם׃
My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path:
כִּי רַגְלֵיהֶם לָרַע יָרוּצוּ וִֽימַהֲרוּ לִשְׁפָּךְ-דָּֽם׃
For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood.
אָז תֵּלֵךְ לָבֶטַח דַּרְכֶּךָ וְרַגְלְךָ לֹא תִגּֽוֹף׃
Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble.
כִּֽי-יְהוָה יִהְיֶה בְכִסְלֶךָ וְשָׁמַר רַגְלְךָ מִלָּֽכֶד׃
For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.
פַּלֵּס מַעְגַּל רַגְלֶךָ וְֽכָל-דְּרָכֶיךָ יִכֹּֽנוּ׃
Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.
אַֽל-תֵּט-יָמִין וּשְׂמֹאול הָסֵר רַגְלְךָ מֵרָֽע׃
Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.
רַגְלֶיהָ יֹרְדוֹת מָוֶת שְׁאוֹל צְעָדֶיהָ יִתְמֹֽכוּ׃
Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell.
קֹרֵץ בְּעֵינָו מֹלֵל בְּרַגְלָו מֹרֶה בְּאֶצְבְּעֹתָֽיו׃
He winketh with his eyes, he speaketh with his feet, he teacheth with his fingers;
לֵב חֹרֵשׁ מַחְשְׁבוֹת אָוֶן רַגְלַיִם מְמַהֲרוֹת לָרוּץ לָֽרָעָה׃
An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
אִם-יְהַלֵּךְ אִישׁ עַל-הַגֶּחָלִים וְרַגְלָיו לֹא תִכָּוֶֽינָה׃
Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned?
הֹמִיָּה הִיא וְסֹרָרֶת בְּבֵיתָהּ לֹא-יִשְׁכְּנוּ רַגְלֶֽיהָ׃
(She is loud and stubborn; her feet abide not in her house:
גַּם בְּלֹא-דַעַת נֶפֶשׁ לֹא-טוֹב וְאָץ בְּרַגְלַיִם חוֹטֵֽא׃
Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good; and he that hasteth with his feet sinneth.
הֹקַר רַגְלְךָ מִבֵּית רֵעֶךָ פֶּן-יִשְׂבָּעֲךָ וּשְׂנֵאֶֽךָ׃
Withdraw thy foot from thy neighbour's house; lest he be weary of thee, and so hate thee.
שֵׁן רֹעָה וְרֶגֶל מוּעָדֶת מִבְטָח בּוֹגֵד בְּיוֹם צָרָֽה׃
Confidence in an unfaithful man in time of trouble is like a broken tooth, and a foot out of joint.
מְקַצֶּה רַגְלַיִם חָמָס שֹׁתֶה שֹׁלֵחַ דְּבָרִים בְּיַד-כְּסִֽיל׃
He that sendeth a message by the hand of a fool cutteth off the feet, and drinketh damage.
שְׁמֹר (רגליך) רַגְלְךָ כַּאֲשֶׁר תֵּלֵךְ אֶל-בֵּית הָאֱלֹהִים וְקָרוֹב לִשְׁמֹעַ מִתֵּת הַכְּסִילִים זָבַח כִּֽי-אֵינָם יוֹדְעִים לַעֲשׂוֹת רָֽע׃
Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil.
פָּשַׁטְתִּי אֶת-כֻּתָּנְתִּי אֵיכָכָה אֶלְבָּשֶׁנָּה רָחַצְתִּי אֶת-רַגְלַי אֵיכָכָה אֲטַנְּפֵֽם׃
I have put off my coat; how shall I put it on? I have washed my feet; how shall I defile them?
מִכַּף-רֶגֶל וְעַד-רֹאשׁ אֵֽין-בּוֹ מְתֹם פֶּצַע וְחַבּוּרָה וּמַכָּה טְרִיָּה לֹא-זֹרוּ וְלֹא חֻבָּשׁוּ וְלֹא רֻכְּכָה בַּשָּֽׁמֶן׃
From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment.
וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה יַעַן כִּי גָֽבְהוּ בְּנוֹת צִיּוֹן וַתֵּלַכְנָה (נטוות) נְטוּיוֹת גָּרוֹן וּֽמְשַׂקְּרוֹת עֵינָיִם הָלוֹךְ וְטָפֹף תֵּלַכְנָה וּבְרַגְלֵיהֶם תְּעַכַּֽסְנָה׃
Moreover the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet:
שְׂרָפִים עֹמְדִים׀ מִמַּעַל לוֹ שֵׁשׁ כְּנָפַיִם שֵׁשׁ כְּנָפַיִם לְאֶחָד בִּשְׁתַּיִם׀ יְכַסֶּה פָנָיו וּבִשְׁתַּיִם יְכַסֶּה רַגְלָיו וּבִשְׁתַּיִם יְעוֹפֵֽף׃
Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.
בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא יְגַלַּח אֲדֹנָי בְּתַעַר הַשְּׂכִירָה בְּעֶבְרֵי נָהָר בְּמֶלֶךְ אַשּׁוּר אֶת-הָרֹאשׁ וְשַׂעַר הָרַגְלָיִם וְגַם אֶת-הַזָּקָן תִּסְפֶּֽה׃
In the same day shall the Lord shave with a razor that is hired, namely, by them beyond the river, by the king of Assyria, the head, and the hair of the feet: and it shall also consume the beard.
בָּעֵת הַהִיא דִּבֶּר יְהוָה בְּיַד יְשַׁעְיָהוּ בֶן-אָמוֹץ לֵאמֹר לֵךְ וּפִתַּחְתָּ הַשַּׂק מֵעַל מָתְנֶיךָ וְנַעַלְךָ תַחֲלֹץ מֵעַל רַגְלֶךָ וַיַּעַשׂ כֵּן הָלֹךְ עָרוֹם וְיָחֵֽף׃
At the same time spake the LORD by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, Go and loose the sackcloth from off thy loins, and put off thy shoe from thy foot. And he did so, walking naked and barefoot.
הֲזֹאת לָכֶם עַלִּיזָה מִֽימֵי-קֶדֶם קַדְמָתָהּ יֹבִלוּהָ רַגְלֶיהָ מֵֽרָחוֹק לָגֽוּר׃
Is this your joyous city, whose antiquity is of ancient days? her own feet shall carry her afar off to sojourn.
תִּרְמְסֶנָּה רָגֶל רַגְלֵי עָנִי פַּעֲמֵי דַלִּֽים׃
The foot shall tread it down, even the feet of the poor, and the steps of the needy.
בְּרַגְלַיִם תֵּֽרָמַסְנָה עֲטֶרֶת גֵּאוּת שִׁכּוֹרֵי אֶפְרָֽיִם׃
The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim, shall be trodden under feet:
אַשְׁרֵיכֶם זֹרְעֵי עַל-כָּל-מָיִם מְשַׁלְּחֵי רֶֽגֶל-הַשּׁוֹר וְהַחֲמֽוֹר׃
Blessed are ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth thither the feet of the ox and the ass.
וַיֹּאמֶר רַב-שָׁקֵה הַאֶל אֲדֹנֶיךָ וְאֵלֶיךָ שְׁלָחַנִי אֲדֹנִי לְדַבֵּר אֶת-הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה הֲלֹא עַל-הָאֲנָשִׁים הַיֹּֽשְׁבִים עַל-הַחוֹמָה לֶאֱכֹל אֶת-(חראיהם) צוֹאָתָם וְלִשְׁתּוֹת אֶת-(שיניהם) מֵימֵי רַגְלֵיהֶם עִמָּכֶֽם׃
But Rabshakeh said, Hath my master sent me to thy master and to thee to speak these words? hath he not sent me to the men that sit upon the wall, that they may eat their own dung, and drink their own piss with you?
מִי הֵעִיר מִמִּזְרָח צֶדֶק יִקְרָאֵהוּ לְרַגְלוֹ יִתֵּן לְפָנָיו גּוֹיִם וּמְלָכִים יַרְדְּ יִתֵּן כֶּֽעָפָר חַרְבּוֹ כְּקַשׁ נִדָּף קַשְׁתּֽוֹ׃
Who raised up the righteous man from the east, called him to his foot, gave the nations before him, and made him rule over kings? he gave them as the dust to his sword, and as driven stubble to his bow.
יִרְדְּפֵם יַעֲבוֹר שָׁלוֹם אֹרַח בְּרַגְלָיו לֹא יָבֽוֹא׃
He pursued them, and passed safely; even by the way that he had not gone with his feet.
וְהָיוּ מְלָכִים אֹֽמְנַיִךְ וְשָׂרֽוֹתֵיהֶם מֵינִיקֹתַיִךְ אַפַּיִם אֶרֶץ יִשְׁתַּחֲווּ לָךְ וַעֲפַר רַגְלַיִךְ יְלַחֵכוּ וְיָדַעַתְּ כִּֽי-אֲנִי יְהוָה אֲשֶׁר לֹֽא-יֵבֹשׁוּ קוָֹֽי׃
And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers: they shall bow down to thee with their face toward the earth, and lick up the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD: for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me.
מַה-נָּאווּ עַל-הֶהָרִים רַגְלֵי מְבַשֵּׂר מַשְׁמִיעַ שָׁלוֹם מְבַשֵּׂר טוֹב מַשְׁמִיעַ יְשׁוּעָה אֹמֵר לְצִיּוֹן מָלַךְ אֱלֹהָֽיִךְ׃
How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!
אִם-תָּשִׁיב מִשַּׁבָּת רַגְלֶךָ עֲשׂוֹת חֲפָצֶךָ בְּיוֹם קָדְשִׁי וְקָרָאתָ לַשַּׁבָּת עֹנֶג לִקְדוֹשׁ יְהוָה מְכֻבָּד וְכִבַּדְתּוֹ מֵעֲשׂוֹת דְּרָכֶיךָ מִמְּצוֹא חֶפְצְךָ וְדַבֵּר דָּבָֽר׃
If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:
רַגְלֵיהֶם לָרַע יָרֻצוּ וִֽימַהֲרוּ לִשְׁפֹּךְ דָּם נָקִי מַחְשְׁבֹֽתֵיהֶם מַחְשְׁבוֹת אָוֶן שֹׁד וָשֶׁבֶר בִּמְסִלּוֹתָֽם׃
Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths.
כְּבוֹד הַלְּבָנוֹן אֵלַיִךְ יָבוֹא בְּרוֹשׁ תִּדְהָר וּתְאַשּׁוּר יַחְדָּו לְפָאֵר מְקוֹם מִקְדָּשִׁי וּמְקוֹם רַגְלַי אֲכַבֵּֽד׃
The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious.
וְהָלְכוּ אֵלַיִךְ שְׁחוֹחַ בְּנֵי מְעַנַּיִךְ וְהִֽשְׁתַּחֲווּ עַל-כַּפּוֹת רַגְלַיִךְ כָּל-מְנַֽאֲצָיִךְ וְקָרְאוּ לָךְ עִיר יְהוָה צִיּוֹן קְדוֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
The sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee, The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה הַשָּׁמַיִם כִּסְאִי וְהָאָרֶץ הֲדֹם רַגְלָי אֵי-זֶה בַיִת אֲשֶׁר תִּבְנוּ-לִי וְאֵי-זֶה מָקוֹם מְנוּחָתִֽי׃
Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?
מִנְעִי רַגְלֵךְ מִיָּחֵף (וגורנך) וּגְרוֹנֵךְ מִצִּמְאָה וַתֹּאמְרִי נוֹאָשׁ לוֹא כִּֽי-אָהַבְתִּי זָרִים וְאַחֲרֵיהֶם אֵלֵֽךְ׃
Withhold thy foot from being unshod, and thy throat from thirst: but thou saidst, There is no hope: no; for I have loved strangers, and after them will I go.
