וְהֶֽאֱמִן בַּֽיהוָה וַיַּחְשְׁבֶהָ לּוֹ צְדָקָֽה׃
And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.
כִּי יְדַעְתִּיו לְמַעַן אֲשֶׁר יְצַוֶּה אֶת-בָּנָיו וְאֶת-בֵּיתוֹ אַֽחֲרָיו וְשָֽׁמְרוּ דֶּרֶךְ יְהוָה לַֽעֲשׂוֹת צְדָקָה וּמִשְׁפָּט לְמַעַן הָבִיא יְהוָה עַל-אַבְרָהָם אֵת אֲשֶׁר-דִּבֶּר עָלָֽיו׃
For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.
וְעָֽנְתָה-בִּי צִדְקָתִי בְּיוֹם מָחָר כִּֽי-תָבוֹא עַל-שְׂכָרִי לְפָנֶיךָ כֹּל אֲשֶׁר-אֵינֶנּוּ נָקֹד וְטָלוּא בָּֽעִזִּים וְחוּם בַּכְּשָׂבִים גָּנוּב הוּא אִתִּֽי׃
So shall my righteousness answer for me in time to come, when it shall come for my hire before thy face: every one that is not speckled and spotted among the goats, and brown among the sheep, that shall be counted stolen with me.
לֹֽא-תַעֲשׂוּ עָוֶל בַּמִּשְׁפָּט לֹֽא-תִשָּׂא פְנֵי-דָל וְלֹא תֶהְדַּר פְּנֵי גָדוֹל בְּצֶדֶק תִּשְׁפֹּט עֲמִיתֶֽךָ׃
Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.
מֹאזְנֵי צֶדֶק אַבְנֵי-צֶדֶק אֵיפַת צֶדֶק וְהִין צֶדֶק יִֽהְיֶה לָכֶם אֲנִי יְהוָה אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶם אֲשֶׁר-הוֹצֵאתִי אֶתְכֶם מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃
Just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin, shall ye have: I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt.
וָֽאֲצַוֶּה אֶת-שֹׁפְטֵיכֶם בָּעֵת הַהִוא לֵאמֹר שָׁמֹעַ בֵּין-אֲחֵיכֶם וּשְׁפַטְתֶּם צֶדֶק בֵּֽין-אִישׁ וּבֵין-אָחִיו וּבֵין גֵּרֽוֹ׃
And I charged your judges at that time, saying, Hear the causes between your brethren, and judge righteously between every man and his brother, and the stranger that is with him.
וּצְדָקָה תִּֽהְיֶה-לָּנוּ כִּֽי-נִשְׁמֹר לַֽעֲשׂוֹת אֶת-כָּל-הַמִּצְוָה הַזֹּאת לִפְנֵי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ כַּֽאֲשֶׁר צִוָּֽנוּ׃
And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us.
אַל-תֹּאמַר בִּלְבָֽבְךָ בַּֽהֲדֹף יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ אֹתָם׀ מִלְּפָנֶיךָ לֵאמֹר בְּצִדְקָתִי הֱבִיאַנִי יְהוָה לָרֶשֶׁת אֶת-הָאָרֶץ הַזֹּאת וּבְרִשְׁעַת הַגּוֹיִם הָאֵלֶּה יְהוָה מֽוֹרִישָׁם מִפָּנֶֽיךָ׃
Speak not thou in thine heart, after that the LORD thy God hath cast them out from before thee, saying, For my righteousness the LORD hath brought me in to possess this land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD doth drive them out from before thee.
לֹא בְצִדְקָֽתְךָ וּבְיֹשֶׁר לְבָבְךָ אַתָּה בָא לָרֶשֶׁת אֶת-אַרְצָם כִּי בְּרִשְׁעַת׀ הַגּוֹיִם הָאֵלֶּה יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ מֽוֹרִישָׁם מִפָּנֶיךָ וּלְמַעַן הָקִים אֶת-הַדָּבָר אֲשֶׁר נִשְׁבַּע יְהוָה לַֽאֲבֹתֶיךָ לְאַבְרָהָם לְיִצְחָק וּֽלְיַעֲקֹֽב׃
Not for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thine heart, dost thou go to possess their land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee, and that he may perform the word which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
וְיָֽדַעְתָּ כִּי לֹא בְצִדְקָֽתְךָ יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ נֹתֵן לְךָ אֶת-הָאָרֶץ הַטּוֹבָה הַזֹּאת לְרִשְׁתָּהּ כִּי עַם-קְשֵׁה-עֹרֶף אָֽתָּה׃
Understand therefore, that the LORD thy God giveth thee not this good land to possess it for thy righteousness; for thou art a stiffnecked people.
שֹֽׁפְטִים וְשֹֽׁטְרִים תִּֽתֶּן-לְךָ בְּכָל-שְׁעָרֶיךָ אֲשֶׁר יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ נֹתֵן לְךָ לִשְׁבָטֶיךָ וְשָֽׁפְטוּ אֶת-הָעָם מִשְׁפַּט-צֶֽדֶק׃
Judges and officers shalt thou make thee in all thy gates, which the LORD thy God giveth thee, throughout thy tribes: and they shall judge the people with just judgment.
צֶדֶק צֶדֶק תִּרְדֹּף לְמַעַן תִּֽחְיֶה וְיָֽרַשְׁתָּ אֶת-הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר-יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ נֹתֵן לָֽךְ׃
That which is altogether just shalt thou follow, that thou mayest live, and inherit the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
הָשֵׁב תָּשִׁיב לוֹ אֶֽת-הַעֲבוֹט כְּבוֹא הַשֶּׁמֶשׁ וְשָׁכַב בְּשַׂלְמָתוֹ וּבֵֽרֲכֶךָּ וּלְךָ תִּֽהְיֶה צְדָקָה לִפְנֵי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃
In any case thou shalt deliver him the pledge again when the sun goeth down, that he may sleep in his own raiment, and bless thee: and it shall be righteousness unto thee before the LORD thy God.
אֶבֶן שְׁלֵמָה וָצֶדֶק יִֽהְיֶה-לָּךְ אֵיפָה שְׁלֵמָה וָצֶדֶק יִֽהְיֶה-לָּךְ לְמַעַן יַֽאֲרִיכוּ יָמֶיךָ עַל הָֽאֲדָמָה אֲשֶׁר-יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ נֹתֵן לָֽךְ׃
But thou shalt have a perfect and just weight, a perfect and just measure shalt thou have: that thy days may be lengthened in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
עַמִּים הַר-יִקְרָאוּ שָׁם יִזְבְּחוּ זִבְחֵי-צֶדֶק כִּי שֶׁפַע יַמִּים יִינָקוּ וּשְׂפֻנֵי טְמוּנֵי חֽוֹל׃
They shall call the people unto the mountain; there they shall offer sacrifices of righteousness: for they shall suck of the abundance of the seas, and of treasures hid in the sand.
וַיַּרְא רֵאשִׁית לוֹ כִּי-שָׁם חֶלְקַת מְחֹקֵק סָפוּן וַיֵּתֵא רָאשֵׁי עָם צִדְקַת יְהוָה עָשָׂה וּמִשְׁפָּטָיו עִם-יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
And he provided the first part for himself, because there, in a portion of the lawgiver, was he seated; and he came with the heads of the people, he executed the justice of the LORD, and his judgments with Israel.
מִקּוֹל מְחַֽצְצִים בֵּין מַשְׁאַבִּים שָׁם יְתַנּוּ צִדְקוֹת יְהוָה צִדְקֹת פִּרְזוֹנוֹ בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל אָז יָֽרְדוּ לַשְּׁעָרִים עַם-יְהוָֽה׃
They that are delivered from the noise of archers in the places of drawing water, there shall they rehearse the righteous acts of the LORD, even the righteous acts toward the inhabitants of his villages in Israel: then shall the people of the LORD go down to the gates.
וְעַתָּה הִֽתְיַצְּבוּ וְאִשָּֽׁפְטָה אִתְּכֶם לִפְנֵי יְהוָה אֵת כָּל-צִדְקוֹת יְהוָה אֲשֶׁר-עָשָׂה אִתְּכֶם וְאֶת-אֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶֽם׃
Now therefore stand still, that I may reason with you before the LORD of all the righteous acts of the LORD, which he did to you and to your fathers.
וַֽיהוָה יָשִׁיב לָאִישׁ אֶת-צִדְקָתוֹ וְאֶת-אֱמֻֽנָתוֹ אֲשֶׁר נְתָֽנְךָ יְהוָה׀ הַיּוֹם בְּיָד וְלֹא אָבִיתִי לִשְׁלֹחַ יָדִי בִּמְשִׁיחַ יְהוָֽה׃
The LORD render to every man his righteousness and his faithfulness: for the LORD delivered thee into my hand to day, but I would not stretch forth mine hand against the LORD's anointed.
וַיִּמְלֹךְ דָּוִד עַל-כָּל-יִשְׂרָאֵל וַיְהִי דָוִד עֹשֶׂה מִשְׁפָּט וּצְדָקָה לְכָל-עַמּֽוֹ׃
And David reigned over all Israel; and David executed judgment and justice unto all his people.
כִּי לֹא הָיָה כָּל-בֵּית אָבִי כִּי אִם-אַנְשֵׁי-מָוֶת לַֽאדֹנִי הַמֶּלֶךְ וַתָּשֶׁת אֶֽת-עַבְדְּךָ בְּאֹֽכְלֵי שֻׁלְחָנֶךָ וּמַה-יֶּשׁ-לִי עוֹד צְדָקָה וְלִזְעֹק עוֹד אֶל-הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃
For all of my father's house were but dead men before my lord the king: yet didst thou set thy servant among them that did eat at thine own table. What right therefore have I yet to cry any more unto the king?
יִגְמְלֵנִי יְהוָה כְּצִדְקָתִי כְּבֹר יָדַי יָשִׁיב לִֽי׃
The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness: according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.
וַיָּשֶׁב יְהוָה לִי כְּצִדְקָתִי כְּבֹרִי לְנֶגֶד עֵינָֽיו׃
Therefore the LORD hath recompensed me according to my righteousness; according to my cleanness in his eye sight.
וַיֹּאמֶר שְׁלֹמֹה אַתָּה עָשִׂיתָ עִם-עַבְדְּךָ דָוִד אָבִי חֶסֶד גָּדוֹל כַּֽאֲשֶׁר הָלַךְ לְפָנֶיךָ בֶּֽאֱמֶת וּבִצְדָקָה וּבְיִשְׁרַת לֵבָב עִמָּךְ וַתִּשְׁמָר-לוֹ אֶת-הַחֶסֶד הַגָּדוֹל הַזֶּה וַתִּתֶּן-לוֹ בֵן יֹשֵׁב עַל-כִּסְאוֹ כַּיּוֹם הַזֶּֽה׃
And Solomon said, Thou hast shewed unto thy servant David my father great mercy, according as he walked before thee in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with thee; and thou hast kept for him this great kindness, that thou hast given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.
וְאַתָּה׀ תִּשְׁמַע הַשָּׁמַיִם וְעָשִׂיתָ וְשָֽׁפַטְתָּ אֶת-עֲבָדֶיךָ לְהַרְשִׁיעַ רָשָׁע לָתֵת דַּרְכּוֹ בְּרֹאשׁוֹ וּלְהַצְדִּיק צַדִּיק לָתֶת לוֹ כְּצִדְקָתֽוֹ׃
Then hear thou in heaven, and do, and judge thy servants, condemning the wicked, to bring his way upon his head; and justifying the righteous, to give him according to his righteousness.
יְהִי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ בָּרוּךְ אֲשֶׁר חָפֵץ בְּךָ לְתִתְּךָ עַל-כִּסֵּא יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּאַֽהֲבַת יְהוָה אֶת-יִשְׂרָאֵל לְעֹלָם וַיְשִֽׂימְךָ לְמֶלֶךְ לַֽעֲשׂוֹת מִשְׁפָּט וּצְדָקָֽה׃
Blessed be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee, to set thee on the throne of Israel: because the LORD loved Israel for ever, therefore made he thee king, to do judgment and justice.
וַיִּמְלֹךְ דָּוִיד עַל-כָּל-יִשְׂרָאֵל וַיְהִי עֹשֶׂה מִשְׁפָּט וּצְדָקָה לְכָל-עַמּֽוֹ׃
So David reigned over all Israel, and executed judgment and justice among all his people.
וְאַתָּה׀ תִּשְׁמַע מִן-הַשָּׁמַיִם וְעָשִׂיתָ וְשָֽׁפַטְתָּ אֶת-עֲבָדֶיךָ לְהָשִׁיב לְרָשָׁע לָתֵת דַּרְכּוֹ בְּרֹאשׁוֹ וּלְהַצְדִּיק צַדִּיק לָתֶת לוֹ כְּצִדְקָתֽוֹ׃
Then hear thou from heaven, and do, and judge thy servants, by requiting the wicked, by recompensing his way upon his own head; and by justifying the righteous, by giving him according to his righteousness.
יְהִי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ בָּרוּךְ אֲשֶׁר׀ חָפֵץ בְּךָ לְתִתְּךָ עַל-כִּסְאוֹ לְמֶלֶךְ לַֽיהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ בְּאַֽהֲבַת אֱלֹהֶיךָ אֶת-יִשְׂרָאֵל לְהַֽעֲמִידוֹ לְעוֹלָם וַיִּתֶּנְךָ עֲלֵיהֶם לְמֶלֶךְ לַעֲשׂוֹת מִשְׁפָּט וּצְדָקָֽה׃
Blessed be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee to set thee on his throne, to be king for the LORD thy God: because thy God loved Israel, to establish them for ever, therefore made he thee king over them, to do judgment and justice.
וָֽאָשִׁיב אוֹתָם דָּבָר וָֽאוֹמַר לָהֶם אֱלֹהֵי הַשָּׁמַיִם הוּא יַצְלִיחַֽ לָנוּ וַֽאֲנַחְנוּ עֲבָדָיו נָקוּם וּבָנִינוּ וְלָכֶם אֵֽין-חֵלֶק וּצְדָקָה וְזִכָּרוֹן בִּירֽוּשָׁלִָֽם׃
Then answered I them, and said unto them, The God of heaven, he will prosper us; therefore we his servants will arise and build: but ye have no portion, nor right, nor memorial, in Jerusalem.
שֽׁוּבוּ-נָא אַל-תְּהִי עַוְלָה (ושבי) וְשׁוּבוּ עוֹד צִדְקִי-בָֽהּ׃
Return, I pray you, let it not be iniquity; yea, return again, my righteousness is in it.
הַאֵל יְעַוֵּת מִשְׁפָּט וְאִם-שַׁדַּי יְעַוֵּֽת-צֶֽדֶק׃
Doth God pervert judgment? or doth the Almighty pervert justice?
אִם-זַךְ וְיָשָׁר אָתָּה כִּֽי-עַתָּה יָעִיר עָלֶיךָ וְשִׁלַּם נְוַת צִדְקֶֽךָ׃
If thou wert pure and upright; surely now he would awake for thee, and make the habitation of thy righteousness prosperous.
בְּצִדְקָתִי הֶחֱזַקְתִּי וְלֹא אַרְפֶּהָ לֹֽא-יֶחֱרַף לְבָבִי מִיָּמָֽי׃
My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live.
צֶדֶק לָבַשְׁתִּי וַיִּלְבָּשֵׁנִי כִּמְעִיל וְצָנִיף מִשְׁפָּטִֽי׃
I put on righteousness, and it clothed me: my judgment was as a robe and a diadem.
יִשְׁקְלֵנִי בְמֹאזְנֵי-צֶדֶק וְיֵדַע אֱלוֹהַּ תֻּמָּתִֽי׃
Let me be weighed in an even balance, that God may know mine integrity.
יֶעְתַּר אֶל-אֱלוֹהַּ׀ וַיִּרְצֵהוּ וַיַּרְא פָּנָיו בִּתְרוּעָה וַיָּשֶׁב לֶאֱנוֹשׁ צִדְקָתֽוֹ׃
He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness.
הֲזֹאת חָשַׁבְתָּ לְמִשְׁפָּט אָמַרְתָּ צִדְקִי מֵאֵֽל׃
Thinkest thou this to be right, that thou saidst, My righteousness is more than God's?
לְאִישׁ-כָּמוֹךָ רִשְׁעֶךָ וּלְבֶן-אָדָם צִדְקָתֶֽךָ׃
Thy wickedness may hurt a man as thou art; and thy righteousness may profit the son of man.
אֶשָּׂא דֵעִי לְמֵרָחוֹק וּלְפֹעֲלִי אֶֽתֵּֽן-צֶֽדֶק׃
I will fetch my knowledge from afar, and will ascribe righteousness to my Maker.
שַׁדַּי לֹֽא-מְצָאנֻהוּ שַׂגִּיא-כֹחַ וּמִשְׁפָּט וְרֹב-צְדָקָה לֹא יְעַנֶּֽה׃
Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict.
בְּקָרְאִי עֲנֵנִי׀ אֱלֹהֵי צִדְקִי בַּצָּר הִרְחַבְתָּ לִּי חָנֵּנִי וּשְׁמַע תְּפִלָּתִֽי׃
Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.
זִבְחוּ זִבְחֵי-צֶדֶק וּבִטְחוּ אֶל-יְהוָֽה׃
Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.
יְהוָה׀ נְחֵנִי בְצִדְקָתֶךָ לְמַעַן שׁוֹרְרָי הַיְשַׁר לְפָנַי דַּרְכֶּֽךָ׃
Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.
יְהוָה יָדִין עַמִּים שָׁפְטֵנִי יְהוָה כְּצִדְקִי וּכְתֻמִּי עָלָֽי׃
The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.
אוֹדֶה יְהוָה כְּצִדְקוֹ וַאֲזַמְּרָה שֵֽׁם-יְהוָה עֶלְיֽוֹן׃
I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.
כִּֽי-עָשִׂיתָ מִשְׁפָּטִי וְדִינִי יָשַׁבְתָּ לְכִסֵּא שׁוֹפֵט צֶֽדֶק׃
For thou hast maintained my right and my cause; thou satest in the throne judging right.
וְהוּא יִשְׁפֹּֽט-תֵּבֵל בְּצֶדֶק יָדִין לְאֻמִּים בְּמֵישָׁרִֽים׃
And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.
כִּֽי-צַדִּיק יְהוָה צְדָקוֹת אָהֵב יָשָׁר יֶחֱזוּ פָנֵֽימוֹ׃
For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.
הוֹלֵךְ תָּמִים וּפֹעֵל צֶדֶק וְדֹבֵר אֱמֶת בִּלְבָבֽוֹ׃
He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.
שִׁמְעָה יְהוָה׀ צֶדֶק הַקְשִׁיבָה רִנָּתִי הַאֲזִינָה תְפִלָּתִי בְּלֹא שִׂפְתֵי מִרְמָֽה׃
Hear the right, O LORD, attend unto my cry, give ear unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips.
אֲנִי בְּצֶדֶק אֶחֱזֶה פָנֶיךָ אֶשְׂבְּעָה בְהָקִיץ תְּמוּנָתֶֽךָ׃
As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.
יִגְמְלֵנִי יְהוָה כְּצִדְקִי כְּבֹר יָדַי יָשִׁיב לִֽי׃
The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.
וַיָּֽשֶׁב-יְהוָה לִי כְצִדְקִי כְּבֹר יָדַי לְנֶגֶד עֵינָֽיו׃
Therefore hath the LORD recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight.
יָבֹאוּ וְיַגִּידוּ צִדְקָתוֹ לְעַם נוֹלָד כִּי עָשָֽׂה׃
They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done this.
נַפְשִׁי יְשׁוֹבֵב יַֽנְחֵנִי בְמַעְגְּלֵי-צֶדֶק לְמַעַן שְׁמֽוֹ׃
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
יִשָּׂא בְרָכָה מֵאֵת יְהוָה וּצְדָקָה מֵאֱלֹהֵי יִשְׁעֽוֹ׃
He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
בְּךָֽ-יְהוָה חָסִיתִי אַל-אֵבוֹשָׁה לְעוֹלָם בְּצִדְקָתְךָ פַלְּטֵֽנִי׃
In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.
אֹהֵב צְדָקָה וּמִשְׁפָּט חֶסֶד יְהוָה מָלְאָה הָאָֽרֶץ׃
He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.
שָׁפְטֵנִי כְצִדְקְךָ יְהוָה אֱלֹהָי וְאַל-יִשְׂמְחוּ-לִֽי׃
Judge me, O LORD my God, according to thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.
יָרֹנּוּ וְיִשְׂמְחוּ חֲפֵצֵי צִדְקִי וְיֹאמְרוּ תָמִיד יִגְדַּל יְהוָה הֶחָפֵץ שְׁלוֹם עַבְדּֽוֹ׃
Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.
וּלְשׁוֹנִי תֶּהְגֶּה צִדְקֶךָ כָּל-הַיּוֹם תְּהִלָּתֶֽךָ׃
And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long.
צִדְקָֽתְךָ׀ כְּֽהַרְרֵי-אֵל מִשְׁפָּטֶיךָ תְּהוֹם רַבָּה אָדָֽם וּבְהֵמָה תוֹשִׁיעַ יְהוָֽה׃
Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O LORD, thou preservest man and beast.
מְשֹׁךְ חַסְדְּךָ לְיֹדְעֶיךָ וְצִדְקָֽתְךָ לְיִשְׁרֵי-לֵֽב׃
O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.
וְהוֹצִיא כָאוֹר צִדְקֶךָ וּמִשְׁפָּטֶךָ כַּֽצָּהֳרָֽיִם׃
And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.
בִּשַּׂרְתִּי צֶדֶק׀ בְּקָהָל רָב הִנֵּה שְׂפָתַי לֹא אֶכְלָא יְהוָה אַתָּה יָדָֽעְתָּ׃
I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O LORD, thou knowest.
צִדְקָתְךָ לֹא-כִסִּיתִי׀ בְּתוֹךְ לִבִּי אֱמוּנָתְךָ וּתְשׁוּעָתְךָ אָמָרְתִּי לֹא-כִחַדְתִּי חַסְדְּךָ וַאֲמִתְּךָ לְקָהָל רָֽב׃
I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation.
וַהֲדָרְךָ׀ צְלַח רְכַב עַֽל-דְּבַר-אֱמֶת וְעַנְוָה-צֶדֶק וְתוֹרְךָ נוֹרָאוֹת יְמִינֶֽךָ׃
And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.
אָהַבְתָּ צֶּדֶק וַתִּשְׂנָא רֶשַׁע עַל-כֵּן׀ מְשָׁחֲךָ אֱלֹהִים אֱלֹהֶיךָ שֶׁמֶן שָׂשׂוֹן מֵֽחֲבֵרֶֽךָ׃
Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
כְּשִׁמְךָ אֱלֹהִים כֵּן תְּהִלָּתְךָ עַל-קַצְוֵי-אֶרֶץ צֶדֶק מָלְאָה יְמִינֶֽךָ׃
According to thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness.
וַיַּגִּידוּ שָׁמַיִם צִדְקוֹ כִּֽי-אֱלֹהִים׀ שֹׁפֵט הוּא סֶֽלָה׃
And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah.
הַצִּילֵנִי מִדָּמִים׀ אֱֽלֹהִים אֱלֹהֵי תְּשׁוּעָתִי תְּרַנֵּן לְשׁוֹנִי צִדְקָתֶֽךָ׃
Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.
אָז תַּחְפֹּץ זִבְחֵי-צֶדֶק עוֹלָה וְכָלִיל אָז יַעֲלוּ עַל-מִזְבַּחֲךָ פָרִֽים׃
Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.
אָהַבְתָּ רָּע מִטּוֹב שֶׁקֶר׀ מִדַּבֵּר צֶדֶק סֶֽלָה׃
Thou lovest evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah.
הַֽאֻמְנָם אֵלֶם צֶדֶק תְּדַבֵּרוּן מֵישָׁרִים תִּשְׁפְּטוּ בְּנֵי אָדָֽם׃
Do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men?
נוֹרָאוֹת׀ בְּצֶדֶק תַּעֲנֵנוּ אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׁעֵנוּ מִבְטָח כָּל-קַצְוֵי-אֶרֶץ וְיָם רְחֹקִֽים׃
By terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation; who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off upon the sea:
תְּֽנָה-עָוֹן עַל-עֲוֹנָם וְאַל-יָבֹאוּ בְּצִדְקָתֶֽךָ׃
Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into thy righteousness.
בְּצִדְקָתְךָ תַּצִּילֵנִי וּֽתְפַלְּטֵנִי הַטֵּֽה-אֵלַי אָזְנְךָ וְהוֹשִׁיעֵֽנִי׃
Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline thine ear unto me, and save me.
פִּי׀ יְסַפֵּר צִדְקָתֶךָ כָּל-הַיּוֹם תְּשׁוּעָתֶךָ כִּי לֹא יָדַעְתִּי סְפֹרֽוֹת׃
My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof.
אָבוֹא בִּגְבֻרוֹת אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה אַזְכִּיר צִדְקָתְךָ לְבַדֶּֽךָ׃
I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.
וְצִדְקָתְךָ אֱלֹהִים עַד-מָרוֹם אֲשֶׁר-עָשִׂיתָ גְדֹלוֹת אֱלֹהִים מִי כָמֽוֹךָ׃
Thy righteousness also, O God, is very high, who hast done great things: O God, who is like unto thee!
גַּם-לְשׁוֹנִי כָּל-הַיּוֹם תֶּהְגֶּה צִדְקָתֶךָ כִּי-בֹשׁוּ כִֽי-חָפְרוּ מְבַקְשֵׁי רָעָתִֽי׃
My tongue also shall talk of thy righteousness all the day long: for they are confounded, for they are brought unto shame, that seek my hurt.
אֱֽלֹהִים מִשְׁפָּטֶיךָ לְמֶלֶךְ תֵּן וְצִדְקָתְךָ לְבֶן-מֶֽלֶךְ׃
Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king's son.
יָדִין עַמְּךָ בְצֶדֶק וַעֲנִיֶּיךָ בְמִשְׁפָּֽט׃
He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment.
יִשְׂאוּ הָרִים שָׁלוֹם לָעָם וּגְבָעוֹת בִּצְדָקָֽה׃
The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness.
חֶֽסֶד-וֶאֱמֶת נִפְגָּשׁוּ צֶדֶק וְשָׁלוֹם נָשָֽׁקוּ׃
Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
אֱמֶת מֵאֶרֶץ תִּצְמָח וְצֶדֶק מִשָּׁמַיִם נִשְׁקָֽף׃
Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.
צֶדֶק לְפָנָיו יְהַלֵּךְ וְיָשֵׂם לְדֶרֶךְ פְּעָמָֽיו׃
Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.
הֲיִוָּדַע בַּחֹשֶׁךְ פִּלְאֶךָ וְצִדְקָתְךָ בְּאֶרֶץ נְשִׁיָּֽה׃
Shall thy wonders be known in the dark? and thy righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?
צֶדֶק וּמִשְׁפָּט מְכוֹן כִּסְאֶךָ חֶסֶד וֶאֱמֶת יְֽקַדְּמוּ פָנֶֽיךָ׃
Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.
בְּשִׁמְךָ יְגִילוּן כָּל-הַיּוֹם וּבְצִדְקָתְךָ יָרֽוּמוּ׃
In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.
כִּֽי-עַד-צֶדֶק יָשׁוּב מִשְׁפָּט וְאַחֲרָיו כָּל-יִשְׁרֵי-לֵֽב׃
But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.
לִפְנֵי יְהוָה׀ כִּי בָא כִּי בָא לִשְׁפֹּט הָאָרֶץ יִשְׁפֹּֽט-תֵּבֵל בְּצֶדֶק וְעַמִּים בֶּאֱמוּנָתֽוֹ׃
Before the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.
עָנָן וַעֲרָפֶל סְבִיבָיו צֶדֶק וּמִשְׁפָּט מְכוֹן כִּסְאֽוֹ׃
Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne.
הִגִּידוּ הַשָּׁמַיִם צִדְקוֹ וְרָאוּ כָל-הָעַמִּים כְּבוֹדֽוֹ׃
The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.
הוֹדִיעַ יְהוָה יְשׁוּעָתוֹ לְעֵינֵי הַגּוֹיִם גִּלָּה צִדְקָתֽוֹ׃
The LORD hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.
לִפְֽנֵי יְהוָה כִּי בָא לִשְׁפֹּט הָאָרֶץ יִשְׁפֹּֽט-תֵּבֵל בְּצֶדֶק וְעַמִּים בְּמֵישָׁרִֽים׃
Before the LORD; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.
וְעֹז מֶלֶךְ מִשְׁפָּט אָהֵב אַתָּה כּוֹנַנְתָּ מֵישָׁרִים מִשְׁפָּט וּצְדָקָה בְּיַעֲקֹב׀ אַתָּה עָשִֽׂיתָ׃
The king's strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.
עֹשֵׂה צְדָקוֹת יְהוָה וּמִשְׁפָּטִים לְכָל-עֲשׁוּקִֽים׃
The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.
וְחֶסֶד יְהוָה׀ מֵעוֹלָם וְעַד-עוֹלָם עַל-יְרֵאָיו וְצִדְקָתוֹ לִבְנֵי בָנִֽים׃
But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;
