מִי מָנָה עֲפַר יַֽעֲקֹב וּמִסְפָּר אֶת-רֹבַע יִשְׂרָאֵל תָּמֹת נַפְשִׁי מוֹת יְשָׁרִים וּתְהִי אַֽחֲרִיתִי כָּמֹֽהוּ׃

Who can count the dust of Jacob, and the number of the fourth part of Israel? Let me die the death of the righteous, and let my last end be like his!
וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו בָּלָק ‫(לך)‬ לְכָה-נָּא אִתִּי אֶל-מָקוֹם אַחֵר אֲשֶׁר תִּרְאֶנּוּ מִשָּׁם אֶפֶס קָצֵהוּ תִרְאֶה וְכֻלּוֹ לֹא תִרְאֶה וְקָבְנוֹ-לִי מִשָּֽׁם׃

And Balak said unto him, Come, I pray thee, with me unto another place, from whence thou mayest see them: thou shalt see but the utmost part of them, and shalt not see them all: and curse me them from thence.

Numbers 24

וְעַתָּה הִנְנִי הוֹלֵךְ לְעַמִּי לְכָה אִיעָצְךָ אֲשֶׁר יַֽעֲשֶׂה הָעָם הַזֶּה לְעַמְּךָ בְּאַֽחֲרִית הַיָּמִֽים׃

And now, behold, I go unto my people: come therefore, and I will advertise thee what this people shall do to thy people in the latter days.

Deuteronomy 8

הַמַּאֲכִלְךָ מָן בַּמִּדְבָּר אֲשֶׁר לֹֽא-יָדְעוּן אֲבֹתֶיךָ לְמַעַן עַנֹּֽתְךָ וּלְמַעַן נַסֹּתֶךָ לְהֵיטִֽבְךָ בְּאַֽחֲרִיתֶֽךָ׃

Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end;

For I know that after my death ye will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days; because ye will do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands.

Deuteronomy 32

וַיֹּאמֶר אַסְתִּירָה פָנַי מֵהֶם אֶרְאֶה מָה אַֽחֲרִיתָם כִּי דוֹר תַּהְפֻּכֹת הֵמָּה בָּנִים לֹֽא-אֵמֻן בָּֽם׃

And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith.
לוּ חָֽכְמוּ יַשְׂכִּילוּ זֹאת יָבִינוּ לְאַֽחֲרִיתָֽם׃

O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!

Joshua 3

וּגְבוּל קֵדְמָה יָם הַמֶּלַח עַד-קְצֵה הַיַּרְדֵּן וּגְבוּל לִפְאַת צָפוֹנָה מִלְּשׁוֹן הַיָּם מִקְצֵה הַיַּרְדֵּֽן׃

And the east border was the salt sea, even unto the end of Jordan. And their border in the north quarter was from the bay of the sea at the uttermost part of Jordan:
וְעָלָה הַגְּבוּל גֵּי בֶן-הִנֹּם אֶל-כֶּתֶף הַיְבוּסִי מִנֶּגֶב הִיא יְרֽוּשָׁלִָם וְעָלָה הַגְּבוּל אֶל-רֹאשׁ הָהָר אֲשֶׁר עַל-פְּנֵי גֵֽי-הִנֹּם יָמָּה אֲשֶׁר בִּקְצֵה עֵֽמֶק-רְפָאִים צָפֽוֹנָה׃

And the border went up by the valley of the son of Hinnom unto the south side of the Jebusite; the same is Jerusalem: and the border went up to the top of the mountain that lieth before the valley of Hinnom westward, which is at the end of the valley of the giants northward:
וַיִּֽהְיוּ הֶֽעָרִים מִקְצֵה לְמַטֵּה בְנֵֽי-יְהוּדָה אֶל-גְּבוּל אֱדוֹם בַּנֶּגְבָּה קַבְצְאֵל וְעֵדֶר וְיָגֽוּר׃

And the uttermost cities of the tribe of the children of Judah toward the coast of Edom southward were Kabzeel, and Eder, and Jagur,

Joshua 18

וּפְאַת-נֶגְבָּה מִקְצֵה קִרְיַת יְעָרִים וְיָצָא הַגְּבוּל יָמָּה וְיָצָא אֶל-מַעְיַן מֵי נֶפְתּֽוֹחַ׃

And the south quarter was from the end of Kirjath-jearim, and the border went out on the west, and went out to the well of waters of Nephtoah:
וְיָרַד הַגְּבוּל אֶל-קְצֵה הָהָר אֲשֶׁר עַל-פְּנֵי גֵּי בֶן-הִנֹּם אֲשֶׁר בְּעֵמֶק רְפָאִים צָפוֹנָה וְיָרַד גֵּי הִנֹּם אֶל-כֶּתֶף הַיְבוּסִי נֶגְבָּה וְיָרַד עֵין רֹגֵֽל׃

And the border came down to the end of the mountain that lieth before the valley of the son of Hinnom, and which is in the valley of the giants on the north, and descended to the valley of Hinnom, to the side of Jebusi on the south, and descended to En-rogel,
וְעָבַר הַגְּבוּל אֶל-כֶּתֶף בֵּית-חָגְלָה צָפוֹנָה ‫(והיה)‬ וְהָיוּ׀ ‫(תצאותיו)‬ תֹּצְאוֹת הַגְּבוּל אֶל-לְשׁוֹן יָם-הַמֶּלַח צָפוֹנָה אֶל-קְצֵה הַיַּרְדֵּן נֶגְבָּה זֶה גְּבוּל נֶֽגֶב׃
19
And the border passed along to the side of Beth-hoglah northward: and the outgoings of the border were at the north bay of the salt sea at the south end of Jordan: this was the south coast.

Judges 6

וַיִּשְׁלַח מַלְאַךְ יְהוָה אֶת-קְצֵה הַמִּשְׁעֶנֶת אֲשֶׁר בְּיָדוֹ וַיִּגַּע בַּבָּשָׂר וּבַמַּצּוֹת וַתַּעַל הָאֵשׁ מִן-הַצּוּר וַתֹּאכַל אֶת-הַבָּשָׂר וְאֶת-הַמַּצּוֹת וּמַלְאַךְ יְהוָה הָלַךְ מֵֽעֵינָֽיו׃

Then the angel of the LORD put forth the end of the staff that was in his hand, and touched the flesh and the unleavened cakes; and there rose up fire out of the rock, and consumed the flesh and the unleavened cakes. Then the angel of the LORD departed out of his sight.

Judges 7

וְשָֽׁמַעְתָּ מַה-יְדַבֵּרוּ וְאַחַר תֶּֽחֱזַקְנָה יָדֶיךָ וְיָֽרַדְתָּ בַּֽמַּחֲנֶה וַיֵּרֶד הוּא וּפֻרָה נַֽעֲרוֹ אֶל-קְצֵה הַֽחֲמֻשִׁים אֲשֶׁר בַּֽמַּחֲנֶֽה׃

And thou shalt hear what they say; and afterward shall thine hands be strengthened to go down unto the host. Then went he down with Phurah his servant unto the outside of the armed men that were in the host.
וַיֹּאמֶר אֲלֵיהֶם מִמֶּנִּי תִרְאוּ וְכֵן תַּֽעֲשׂוּ וְהִנֵּה אָֽנֹכִי בָא בִּקְצֵה הַֽמַּחֲנֶה וְהָיָה כַֽאֲשֶׁר-אֶעֱשֶׂה כֵּן תַּֽעֲשֽׂוּן׃

And he said unto them, Look on me, and do likewise: and, behold, when I come to the outside of the camp, it shall be that, as I do, so shall ye do.
וַיָּבֹא גִדְעוֹן וּמֵאָה-אִישׁ אֲשֶׁר-אִתּוֹ בִּקְצֵה הַֽמַּחֲנֶה רֹאשׁ הָֽאַשְׁמֹרֶת הַתִּֽיכוֹנָה אַךְ הָקֵם הֵקִימוּ אֶת-הַשֹּֽׁמְרִים וַֽיִּתְקְעוּ בַּשּׁוֹפָרוֹת וְנָפוֹץ הַכַּדִּים אֲשֶׁר בְּיָדָֽם׃

So Gideon, and the hundred men that were with him, came unto the outside of the camp in the beginning of the middle watch; and they had but newly set the watch: and they blew the trumpets, and brake the pitchers that were in their hands.

Judges 11

וַיְהִי מִקֵּץ׀ שְׁנַיִם חֳדָשִׁים וַתָּשָׁב אֶל-אָבִיהָ וַיַּעַשׂ לָהּ אֶת-נִדְרוֹ אֲשֶׁר נָדָר וְהִיא לֹֽא-יָדְעָה אִישׁ וַתְּהִי-חֹק בְּיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

וְיֽוֹנָתָן לֹֽא-שָׁמַע בְּהַשְׁבִּיעַ אָבִיו אֶת-הָעָם וַיִּשְׁלַח אֶת-קְצֵה הַמַּטֶּה אֲשֶׁר בְּיָדוֹ וַיִּטְבֹּל אוֹתָהּ בְּיַעְרַת הַדְּבָשׁ וַיָּשֶׁב יָדוֹ אֶל-פִּיו ‫(ותראנה)‬ וַתָּאֹרְנָה עֵינָֽיו׃

But Jonathan heard not when his father charged the people with the oath: wherefore he put forth the end of the rod that was in his hand, and dipped it in an honeycomb, and put his hand to his mouth; and his eyes were enlightened.
וַיֹּאמֶר שָׁאוּל אֶל-יוֹנָתָן הַגִּידָה לִּי מֶה עָשִׂיתָה וַיַּגֶּד-לוֹ יֽוֹנָתָן וַיֹּאמֶר טָעֹם טָעַמְתִּי בִּקְצֵה הַמַּטֶּה אֲשֶׁר-בְּיָדִי מְעַט דְּבַשׁ הִנְנִי אָמֽוּת׃

Then Saul said to Jonathan, Tell me what thou hast done. And Jonathan told him, and said, I did but taste a little honey with the end of the rod that was in mine hand, and, lo, I must die.

2 Samuel 14

וּֽבְגַלְּחוֹ אֶת-רֹאשׁוֹ וְֽהָיָה מִקֵּץ יָמִים׀ לַיָּמִים אֲשֶׁר יְגַלֵּחַ כִּֽי-כָבֵד עָלָיו וְגִלְּחוֹ וְשָׁקַל אֶת-שְׂעַר רֹאשׁוֹ מָאתַיִם שְׁקָלִים בְּאֶבֶן הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃

And when he polled his head, (for it was at every year's end that he polled it: because the hair was heavy on him, therefore he polled it:) he weighed the hair of his head at two hundred shekels after the king's weight.

2 Samuel 15

And it came to pass after forty years, that Absalom said unto the king, I pray thee, let me go and pay my vow, which I have vowed unto the LORD, in Hebron.

2 Samuel 24

וַיָּשֻׁטוּ בְּכָל-הָאָרֶץ וַיָּבֹאוּ מִקְצֵה תִשְׁעָה חֳדָשִׁים וְעֶשְׂרִים יוֹם יְרֽוּשָׁלִָֽם׃

So when they had gone through all the land, they came to Jerusalem at the end of nine months and twenty days.

And when these lepers came to the uttermost part of the camp, they went into one tent, and did eat and drink, and carried thence silver, and gold, and raiment, and went and hid it; and came again, and entered into another tent, and carried thence also, and went and hid it.

2 Kings 8

וַיְהִי מִקְצֵה שֶׁבַע שָׁנִים וַתָּשָׁב הָֽאִשָּׁה מֵאֶרֶץ פְּלִשְׁתִּים וַתֵּצֵא לִצְעֹק אֶל-הַמֶּלֶךְ אֶל-בֵּיתָהּ וְאֶל-שָׂדָֽהּ׃

And it came to pass at the seven years' end, that the woman returned out of the land of the Philistines: and she went forth to cry unto the king for her house and for her land.

2 Kings 18

וַֽיִּלְכְּדֻהָ מִקְצֵה שָׁלֹשׁ שָׁנִים בִּשְׁנַת-שֵׁשׁ לְחִזְקִיָּה הִיא שְׁנַת-תֵּשַׁע לְהוֹשֵׁעַ מֶלֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵל נִלְכְּדָה שֹֽׁמְרֽוֹן׃

And at the end of three years they took it: even in the sixth year of Hezekiah, that is the ninth year of Hoshea king of Israel, Samaria was taken.

בְּיַד מַלְאָכֶיךָ חֵרַפְתָּ׀ אֲדֹנָי וַתֹּאמֶר ‫(ברכב)‬ בְּרֹב רִכְבִּי אֲנִי עָלִיתִי מְרוֹם הָרִים יַרְכְּתֵי לְבָנוֹן וְאֶכְרֹת קוֹמַת אֲרָזָיו מִבְחוֹר בְּרֹשָׁיו וְאָבוֹאָה מְלוֹן קִצֹּה יַעַר כַּרְמִלּֽוֹ׃

By thy messengers thou hast reproached the Lord, and hast said, With the multitude of my chariots I am come up to the height of the mountains, to the sides of Lebanon, and will cut down the tall cedar trees thereof, and the choice fir trees thereof: and I will enter into the lodgings of his borders, and into the forest of his Carmel.

וַיֵּרֶד לְקֵץ שָׁנִים אֶל-אַחְאָב לְשֹׁמְרוֹן וַיִּֽזְבַּֽח-לוֹ אַחְאָב צֹאן וּבָקָר לָרֹב וְלָעָם אֲשֶׁר עִמּוֹ וַיְסִיתֵהוּ לַֽעֲלוֹת אֶל-רָמֹת גִּלְעָֽד׃

And after certain years he went down to Ahab to Samaria. And Ahab killed sheep and oxen for him in abundance, and for the people that he had with him, and persuaded him to go up with him to Ramoth-gilead.

2 Chronicles 21

וַיְהִי לְיָמִים׀ מִיָּמִים וּכְעֵת צֵאת הַקֵּץ לְיָמִים׀ שְׁנַיִם יָֽצְאוּ מֵעָיו עִם-חָלְיוֹ וַיָּמָת בְּתַֽחֲלֻאִים רָעִים וְלֹא-עָשׂוּ לוֹ עַמּוֹ שְׂרֵפָה כִּשְׂרֵפַת אֲבֹתָֽיו׃

And it came to pass, that in process of time, after the end of two years, his bowels fell out by reason of his sickness: so he died of sore diseases. And his people made no burning for him, like the burning of his fathers.

Nehemiah 1

But if ye turn unto me, and keep my commandments, and do them; though there were of you cast out unto the uttermost part of the heaven, yet will I gather them from thence, and will bring them unto the place that I have chosen to set my name there.

Nehemiah 13

Now when every maid's turn was come to go in to king Ahasuerus, after that she had been twelve months, according to the manner of the women, (for so were the days of their purifications accomplished, to wit, six months with oil of myrrh, and six months with sweet odours, and with other things for the purifying of the women;)

What is my strength, that I should hope? and what is mine end, that I should prolong my life?

He setteth an end to darkness, and searcheth out all perfection: the stones of darkness, and the shadow of death.

Job 42

So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.

בְּכָל-הָאָרֶץ׀ יָצָא קַוָּם וּבִקְצֵה תֵבֵל מִלֵּיהֶם לַשֶּׁמֶשׁ שָֽׂם-אֹהֶל בָּהֶֽם׃

Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,

Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.
