And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

If a woman also vow a vow unto the LORD, and bind herself by a bond, being in her father's house in her youth;
Αἱ γυναῖκες ὑποτάσσεσθε τοῖς ἰδίοις ἀνδράσιν ὡς ἀνῆκεν ἐν κυρίῳ
Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.
σώφρονας ἁγνάς οἰκουρούς ἀγαθάς ὑποτασσομένας τοῖς ἰδίοις ἀνδράσιν ἵνα μὴ ὁ λόγος τοῦ θεοῦ βλασφημῆται
To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
πᾶσα δὲ γυνὴ προσευχομένη ἢ προφητεύουσα ἀκατακαλύπτῳ τῇ κεφαλῇ καταισχύνει τὴν κεφαλὴν ἑαυτῆς· ἓν γάρ ἐστιν καὶ τὸ αὐτὸ τῇ ἐξυρημένῃ
But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
θέλω δὲ ὑμᾶς εἰδέναι ὅτι παντὸς ἀνδρὸς ἡ κεφαλὴ ὁ Χριστός ἐστιν κεφαλὴ δὲ γυναικὸς ὁ ἀνήρ κεφαλὴ δὲ Χριστοῦ ὁ θεός
But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may be without the word won by the conversation of the wives;
