1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me.
הֶרֶבה כַּבְּסֵנִי מֵעֲוֺנִי וּֽמֵחַטָּאתִי טַהֲרֵֽנִי׃
Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
ἐὰν δὲ ἐν τῷ φωτὶ περιπατῶμεν ὡς αὐτός ἐστιν ἐν τῷ φωτί κοινωνίαν ἔχομεν μετ' ἀλλήλων καὶ τὸ αἷμα Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ τοῦ υἱοῦ αὐτοῦ καθαρίζει ἡμᾶς ἀπὸ πάσης ἁμαρτίας
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
וְזָרַקְתִּי עֲלֵיכֶם מַיִם טְהוֹרִים וּטְהַרְתֶּם מִכֹּל טֻמְאוֹתֵיכֶם וּמִכָּל-גִּלּוּלֵיכֶם אֲטַהֵר אֶתְכֶֽם׃
Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
κατέχωμεν τὴν ὁμολογίαν τῆς ἐλπίδος ἀκλινῆ πιστὸς γὰρ ὁ ἐπαγγειλάμενος
Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

πολλοί τε τῶν πεπιστευκότων ἤρχοντο ἐξομολογούμενοι καὶ ἀναγγέλλοντες τὰς πράξεις αὐτῶν
And many that believed came, and confessed, and shewed their deeds.
חֲדָשִׁים לַבְּקָרִים רַבָּה אֱמוּנָתֶֽךָ׃
They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
שְׁגִיאוֹת מִֽי-יָבִין מִֽנִּסְתָּרוֹת נַקֵּֽנִי׃
Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.
וַיִּבָּֽדְלוּ זֶרַע יִשְׂרָאֵל מִכֹּל בְּנֵי נֵכָר וַיַּֽעַמְדוּ וַיִּתְוַדּוּ עַל-חַטֹּאתֵיהֶם וַעֲוֺנוֹת אֲבֹֽתֵיהֶֽם׃
And the seed of Israel separated themselves from all strangers, and stood and confessed their sins, and the iniquities of their fathers.
καὶ ἐξεπορεύετο πρὸς αὐτὸν πᾶσα ἡ Ἰουδαία χώρα καὶ οἱ Ἱεροσολυμῖται καὶ ἐβαπτίζοντο πάντες ἐν τῷ Ἰορδάνῃ ποταμῷ ὑπ' αὐτοῦ ἐξομολογούμενοι τὰς ἁμαρτίας αὐτῶν
And there went out unto him all the land of Judaea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins.
יָשֹׁר׀ עַל-אֲנָשִׁים וַיֹּאמֶר חָטָאתִי וְיָשָׁר הֶעֱוֵיתִי וְלֹא-שָׁוָה לִֽי׃
He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not;
וְהִתְוַדּוּ אֶת-עֲוֹנָם וְאֶת-עֲוֹן אֲבֹתָם בְּמַֽעֲלָם אֲשֶׁר מָֽעֲלוּ-בִי וְאַף אֲשֶׁר-הָֽלְכוּ עִמִּי בְּקֶֽרִי׃
If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me;
