Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no with company him, that he may be ashamed.

But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.
אָֽנֹכִי שְׁלֻמֵי אֱמוּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אַתָּה מְבַקֵּשׁ לְהָמִית עִיר וְאֵם בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל לָמָּה תְבַלַּע נַֽחֲלַת יְהוָֽה׃
I am one of them that are peaceable and faithful in Israel: thou seekest to destroy a city and a mother in Israel: why wilt thou swallow up the inheritance of the LORD?

For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not that for we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
καὶ γὰρ ἠσθένησεν παραπλήσιον θανάτῳ· ἀλλ' ὁ θεὸς αὐτόν ἠλέησεν οὐκ αὐτὸν δὲ μόνον ἀλλὰ καὶ ἐμέ ἵνα μὴ λύπην ἐπὶ λύπῃ σχῶ
For indeed he was sick nigh unto death: but God had mercy on him; and not on him only, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.
יִשְׁלַח מִשָּׁמַיִם׀ וְֽיוֹשִׁיעֵנִי חֵרֵף שֹׁאֲפִי סֶלָה יִשְׁלַח אֱלֹהִים חַסְדּוֹ וַאֲמִתּֽוֹ׃
He shall send from heaven, and save me from the reproach of him that would swallow me up. Selah. God shall send forth his mercy and his truth.
Διὸ τὰς παρειμένας χεῖρας καὶ τὰ παραλελυμένα γόνατα ἀνορθώσατε
Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;
חָנֵּנִי אֱלֹהִים כִּֽי-שְׁאָפַנִי אֱנוֹשׁ כָּל-הַיּוֹם לֹחֵם יִלְחָצֵֽנִי׃
Be merciful unto me, O God: for man would swallow me up; he fighting daily oppresseth me.
