I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
τοῦτο δὲ ποιῶ διὰ τὸ εὐαγγέλιον ἵνα συγκοινωνὸς αὐτοῦ γένωμαι
And this I do for the gospel's sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you.
ἔλεγεν οὖν πρὸς αὐτούς Ὁ μὲν θερισμὸς πολύς οἱ δὲ ἐργάται ὀλίγοι· δεήθητε οὖν τοῦ κυρίου τοῦ θερισμοῦ ὅπως ἐκβάλλῃ ἐργάτας εἰς τὸν θερισμὸν αὐτοῦ
Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.
οὐχ ὑμεῖς λέγετε ὅτι Ἔτι τετράμηνόν ἐστιν καὶ ὁ θερισμὸς ἔρχεται ἰδού λέγω ὑμῖν ἐπάρατε τοὺς ὀφθαλμοὺς ὑμῶν καὶ θεάσασθε τὰς χώρας ὅτι λευκαί εἰσιν πρὸς θερισμόν ἤδη
Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.
τότε λέγει τοῖς μαθηταῖς αὐτοῦ Ὁ μὲν θερισμὸς πολύς οἱ δὲ ἐργάται ὀλίγοι·
Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
הֲכֹל הַיּוֹם יַחֲרֹשׁ הַחֹרֵשׁ לִזְרֹעַ יְפַתַּח וִֽישַׂדֵּד אַדְמָתֽוֹ׃
Doth the plowman plow all day to sow? doth he open and break the clods of his ground?
Ὁμοία γάρ ἐστιν ἡ βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν ἀνθρώπῳ οἰκοδεσπότῃ ὅστις ἐξῆλθεν ἅμα πρωῒ μισθώσασθαι ἐργάτας εἰς τὸν ἀμπελῶνα αὐτοῦ
For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.
Ἄλλην παραβολὴν ἀκούσατε Ἄνθρωπος τις ἦν οἰκοδεσπότης ὅστις ἐφύτευσεν ἀμπελῶνα καὶ φραγμὸν αὐτῷ περιέθηκεν καὶ ὤρυξεν ἐν αὐτῷ ληνὸν καὶ ᾠκοδόμησεν πύργον καὶ ἐξέδοτο αὐτὸν γεωργοῖς καὶ ἀπεδήμησεν
