For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.

ἔστησάν τε μάρτυρας ψευδεῖς λέγοντας Ὁ ἄνθρωπος οὗτος οὐ παύεται ῥήματα βλάσφημα λαλῶν κατὰ τοῦ τόπου τοῦ ἁγίου τούτου καὶ τοῦ νόμου·
And set up false witnesses, which said, This man ceaseth not to speak blasphemous words against this holy place, and the law:
וְזָכַרְתְּ אֶת-דְּרָכַיִךְ וְנִכְלַמְתְּ בְּקַחְתֵּךְ אֶת-אֲחוֹתַיִךְ הַגְּדֹלוֹת מִמֵּךְ אֶל-הַקְּטַנּוֹת מִמֵּךְ וְנָתַתִּי אֶתְהֶן לָךְ לְבָנוֹת וְלֹא מִבְּרִיתֵֽךְ׃
Then thou shalt remember thy ways, and be ashamed, when thou shalt receive thy sisters, thine elder and thy younger: and I will give them unto thee for daughters, but not by thy covenant.
