ὡς δὲ ἐνεπλήσθησαν λέγει τοῖς μαθηταῖς αὐτοῦ Συναγάγετε τὰ περισσεύσαντα κλάσματα ἵνα μή τι ἀπόληται
When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.
καὶ ἔφαγον πάντες καὶ ἐχορτάσθησαν καὶ ἦραν τὸ περισσεῦον τῶν κλασμάτων ἑπτὰ σπυρίδας πλήρεις

And there came a man from Baal-shalisha, and brought the man of God bread of the firstfruits, twenty loaves of barley, and full ears of corn in the husk thereof. And he said, Give unto the people, that they may eat.
עֵֽינֵי-כֹל אֵלֶיךָ יְשַׂבֵּרוּ וְאַתָּה נֽוֹתֵן-לָהֶם אֶת-אָכְלָם בְּעִתּֽוֹ׃
The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.
וַֽיְעַנְּךָ וַיַּרְעִבֶךָ וַיַּאֲכִֽלְךָ אֶת-הַמָּן אֲשֶׁר לֹֽא-יָדַעְתָּ וְלֹא יָֽדְעוּן אֲבֹתֶיךָ לְמַעַן הוֹדִֽיעֲךָ כִּי לֹא עַל-הַלֶּחֶם לְבַדּוֹ יִֽחְיֶה הָֽאָדָם כִּי עַל-כָּל-מוֹצָא פִֽי-יְהוָה יִֽחְיֶה הָֽאָדָֽם׃
And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.
