Matthew 24:29
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the be sun darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
καὶ δώσω τέρατα ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ ἄνω καὶ σημεῖα ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς κάτω αἷμα καὶ πῦρ καὶ ἀτμίδα καπνοῦ·
And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.

And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.

הֲלֹא-חֹשֶׁךְ יוֹם יְהוָה וְלֹא-אוֹר וְאָפֵל וְלֹא-נֹגַֽהּ לֽוֹ׃
Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?
רָאִיתִי אֶת-הָאָרֶץ וְהִנֵּה-תֹהוּ וָבֹהוּ וְאֶל-הַשָּׁמַיִם וְאֵין אוֹרָֽם׃

For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
