For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.

He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.
ἔχοντες δὲ χαρίσματα κατὰ τὴν χάριν τὴν δοθεῖσαν ἡμῖν διάφορα εἴτε προφητείαν κατὰ τὴν ἀναλογίαν τῆς πίστεως
Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
Οὕτως ἡμᾶς λογιζέσθω ἄνθρωπος ὡς ὑπηρέτας Χριστοῦ καὶ οἰκονόμους μυστηρίων θεοῦ
Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.
καὶ αὐτὸς ἔδωκεν τοὺς μὲν ἀποστόλους τοὺς δὲ προφήτας τοὺς δὲ εὐαγγελιστάς τοὺς δὲ ποιμένας καὶ διδασκάλους
And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
Διαιρέσεις δὲ χαρισμάτων εἰσίν τὸ δὲ αὐτὸ πνεῦμα·
Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
ἑκάστῳ δὲ δίδοται ἡ φανέρωσις τοῦ πνεύματος πρὸς τὸ συμφέρον
But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
Ἔλεγεν δὲ καὶ πρὸς τοὺς μαθητάς αὐτοῦ Ἄνθρωπός τις ἦν πλούσιος ὃς εἶχεν οἰκονόμον καὶ οὗτος διεβλήθη αὐτῷ ὡς διασκορπίζων τὰ ὑπάρχοντα αὐτοῦ
And he said also unto his disciples, There was a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods.
Ἄλλην παραβολὴν ἀκούσατε Ἄνθρωπος τις ἦν οἰκοδεσπότης ὅστις ἐφύτευσεν ἀμπελῶνα καὶ φραγμὸν αὐτῷ περιέθηκεν καὶ ὤρυξεν ἐν αὐτῷ ληνὸν καὶ ᾠκοδόμησεν πύργον καὶ ἐξέδοτο αὐτὸν γεωργοῖς καὶ ἀπεδήμησεν
Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country:
τίς οὖν ἐστιν Παῦλος τίς δέ Ἀπολλῶς ἀλλ' ἢ διάκονοι δι' ὧν ἐπιστεύσατε καὶ ἑκάστῳ ὡς ὁ κύριος ἔδωκεν
Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?
Ἤρξατο δὲ πρὸς τὸν λαὸν λέγειν τὴν παραβολὴν ταύτην· Ἄνθρωπός τις ἐφύτευσεν ἀμπελῶνα καὶ ἐξέδοτο αὐτὸν γεωργοῖς καὶ ἀπεδήμησεν χρόνους ἱκανούς
Then began he to speak to the people this parable; A certain man planted a vineyard, and let forth it to husbandmen, and went into a far country for a long time.
