Peter then denied again: and immediately the cock crew.
Γενομένης δὲ ἡμέρας ποιήσαντες τινες τῶν Ἰουδαίων συστροφὴν ἀνεθεμάτισαν ἑαυτοὺς λέγοντες μήτε φαγεῖν μήτε πίειν ἕως οὗ ἀποκτείνωσιν τὸν Παῦλον
And when it was day, certain of the Jews banded together, and bound under a curse, themselves saying that they would neither eat nor drink till they had killed Paul.

But he denied, saying, I know not, neither understand I what thou sayest. And he went out into the porch; and the cock crew.
καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς πᾶς ὁ λαὸς εἶπεν Τὸ αἷμα αὐτοῦ ἐφ' ἡμᾶς καὶ ἐπὶ τὰ τέκνα ἡμῶν
Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.
καὶ λέγει αὐτῷ ὁ Ἰησοῦς Ἀμὴν λέγω σοι ὅτι σήμερον ἐν τῇ νυκτὶ ταύτῃ πρὶν ἢ δὶς ἀλέκτορα φωνῆσαι τρίς ἀπαρνήσῃ με
And Jesus saith unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this day, even in this night, before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice.

And the men of Israel were distressed that day: for Saul had adjured the people, saying, Cursed be the man that eateth any food until evening, that I may be avenged on mine enemies. So none of the people tasted any food.

וַיֹּאמֶר לְאִמּוֹ אֶלֶף וּמֵאָה הַכֶּסֶף אֲשֶׁר לֻֽקַּֽח-לָךְ (ואתי) וְאַתְּ אָלִית וְגַם אָמַרְתְּ בְּאָזְנַי הִנֵּֽה-הַכֶּסֶף אִתִּי אֲנִי לְקַחְתִּיו וַתֹּאמֶר אִמּוֹ בָּרוּךְ בְּנִי לַֽיהוָֽה׃
And he said unto his mother, The eleven hundred shekels of silver that were taken from thee, about which thou cursedst, and spakest of also in mine ears, behold, the silver is with me; I took it. And his mother said, Blessed be thou of the LORD, my son.
