Ἀνὴρ δέ τις Ἁνανίας ὀνόματι σὺν Σαπφείρῃ τῇ γυναικὶ αὐτοῦ ἐπώλησεν κτῆμα
But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession,
εἶπεν δὲ Πέτρος Ἁνανία διατί ἐπλήρωσεν ὁ Σατανᾶς τὴν καρδίαν σου ψεύσασθαί σε τὸ πνεῦμα τὸ ἅγιον καὶ νοσφίσασθαι ἀπὸ τῆς τιμῆς τοῦ χωρίου
But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?
ἀκούων δὲ Ἁνανίας τοὺς λόγους τούτους πεσὼν ἐξέψυξεν καὶ ἐγένετο φόβος μέγας ἐπὶ πάντας τοὺς ἀκούοντας ταῦτα
And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.
Ἦν δέ τις μαθητὴς ἐν Δαμασκῷ ὀνόματι Ἁνανίας καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτὸν ὁ κύριος ἐν ὁράματι Ἁνανία ὁ δὲ εἶπεν Ἰδού ἐγώ κύριε
And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.
καὶ εἶδεν ἐν ὁράματι ἄνδρα ὀνόματι Ἁνανίαν εἰσελθόντα καὶ ἐπιθέντα αὐτῷ χεῖρα ὅπως ἀναβλέψῃ
And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.
ἀπεκρίθη δὲ ὁ Ἁνανίας Κύριε ἄκήκοα ἀπὸ πολλῶν περὶ τοῦ ἀνδρὸς τούτου ὅσα κακὰ ἐποίησεν τοῖς ἁγίοις σου ἐν Ἰερουσαλήμ·
Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:
Ἀπῆλθεν δὲ Ἁνανίας καὶ εἰσῆλθεν εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν καὶ ἐπιθεὶς ἐπ' αὐτὸν τὰς χεῖρας εἶπεν Σαοὺλ ἀδελφέ ὁ κύριος ἀπέσταλκέν με Ἰησοῦς ὁ ὀφθείς σοι ἐν τῇ ὁδῷ ᾗ ἤρχου ὅπως ἀναβλέψῃς καὶ πλησθῇς πνεύματος ἁγίου
And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.
Ἁνανίας δέ τις ἀνὴρ εὐσεβὴς κατὰ τὸν νόμον μαρτυρούμενος ὑπὸ πάντων τῶν κατοικούντων Ἰουδαίων
And one Ananias, a devout man according to the law, having a good report of all the Jews which dwelt there,
ὁ δὲ ἀρχιερεὺς Ἁνανίας ἐπέταξεν τοῖς παρεστῶσιν αὐτῷ τύπτειν αὐτοῦ τὸ στόμα
And the high priest Ananias commanded them that stood by him to smite him on the mouth.
Μετὰ δὲ πέντε ἡμέρας κατέβη ὁ ἀρχιερεὺς Ἁνανίας μετὰ τῶν πρεσβυτέρων καὶ ῥήτορος Τερτύλλου τινός οἵτινες ἐνεφάνισαν τῷ ἡγεμόνι κατὰ τοῦ Παύλου
And after five days Ananias the high priest descended with the elders, and with a certain orator named Tertullus, who informed the governor against Paul.
