And Azariah the son of Nathan was over the officers: and Zabud the son of Nathan was principal officer, and the king's friend:

2 Kings 14

וַיִּקְחוּ כָּל-עַם יְהוּדָה אֶת-עֲזַרְיָה וְהוּא בֶּן-שֵׁשׁ עֶשְׂרֵה שָׁנָה וַיַּמְלִכוּ אֹתוֹ תַּחַת אָבִיו אֲמַצְיָֽהוּ׃

And all the people of Judah took Azariah, which was sixteen years old, and made him king instead of his father Amaziah.

2 Kings 15

בִּשְׁנַת עֶשְׂרִים וָשֶׁבַע שָׁנָה לְיָֽרָבְעָם מֶלֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵל מָלַךְ עֲזַרְיָה בֶן-אֲמַצְיָה מֶלֶךְ יְהוּדָֽה׃

In the twenty and seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel began Azariah son of Amaziah king of Judah to reign.

וְיֶתֶר דִּבְרֵי עֲזַרְיָהוּ וְכָל-אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה הֲלֹא-הֵם כְּתוּבִים עַל-סֵפֶר דִּבְרֵי הַיָּמִים לְמַלְכֵי יְהוּדָֽה׃

And the rest of the acts of Azariah, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

וַיִּשְׁכַּב עֲזַרְיָה עִם-אֲבֹתָיו וַיִּקְבְּרוּ אֹתוֹ עִם-אֲבֹתָיו בְּעִיר דָּוִד וַיִּמְלֹךְ יוֹתָם בְּנוֹ תַּחְתָּֽיו׃

So Azariah slept with his fathers; and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David: and Jotham his son reigned in his stead.

בִּשְׁנַת שְׁלֹשִׁים וּשְׁמֹנֶה שָׁנָה לַֽעֲזַרְיָהוּ מֶלֶךְ יְהוּדָה מָלַךְ זְכַרְיָהוּ בֶן-יָֽרָבְעָם עַל-יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּשֹֽׁמְרוֹן שִׁשָּׁה חֳדָשִֽׁים׃

In the thirty and eighth year of Azariah king of Judah did Zachariah the son of Jeroboam reign over Israel in Samaria six months.

בִּשְׁנַת שְׁלֹשִׁים וָתֵשַׁע שָׁנָה לַֽעֲזַרְיָה מֶלֶךְ יְהוּדָה מָלַךְ מְנַחֵם בֶּן-גָּדִי עַל-יִשְׂרָאֵל עֶשֶׂר שָׁנִים בְּשֹֽׁמְרֽוֹן׃

In the nine and thirtieth year of Azariah king of Judah began Menahem the son of Gadi to reign over Israel, and reigned ten years in Samaria.

בִּשְׁנַת חֲמִשִּׁים שָׁנָה לַֽעֲזַרְיָה מֶלֶךְ יְהוּדָה מָלַךְ פְּקַֽחְיָה בֶן-מְנַחֵם עַל-יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּשֹֽׁמְרוֹן שְׁנָתָֽיִם׃

In the fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah Pekahiah the son of Menahem began to reign over Israel in Samaria, and reigned two years.

בִּשְׁנַת חֲמִשִּׁים וּשְׁתַּיִם שָׁנָה לַֽעֲזַרְיָה מֶלֶךְ יְהוּדָה מָלַךְ פֶּקַח בֶּן-רְמַלְיָהוּ עַל-יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּשֹֽׁמְרוֹן עֶשְׂרִים שָׁנָֽה׃

In the two and fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah Pekah the son of Remaliah began to reign over Israel in Samaria, and reigned twenty years.

1 Chronicles 2

וּבְנֵי אֵיתָן עֲזַרְיָֽה׃

And the sons of Ethan; Azariah.

וְעוֹבֵד הוֹלִיד אֶת-יֵהוּא וְיֵהוּא הוֹלִיד אֶת-עֲזַרְיָֽה׃

And Azariah begat Amariah, and Amariah begat Ahitub,

וְשַׁלּוּם הוֹלִיד אֶת-חִלְקִיָּה וְחִלְקִיָּה הוֹלִיד אֶת-עֲזַרְיָֽה׃

And Shallum begat Hilkiah, and Hilkiah begat Azariah,

וַֽעֲזַרְיָה הוֹלִיד אֶת-שְׂרָיָה וּשְׂרָיָה הוֹלִיד אֶת-יְהֽוֹצָדָֽק׃

And Azariah begat Seraiah, and Seraiah begat Jehozadak,

The son of Elkanah, the son of Joel, the son of Azariah, the son of Zephaniah,

2 Chronicles 22

וַיָּשָׁב לְהִתְרַפֵּא בְיִזְרְעֶאל כִּי הַמַּכִּים אֲשֶׁר הִכֻּהוּ בָֽרָמָה בְּהִלָּחֲמוֹ אֶת-חֲזָהאֵל מֶלֶךְ אֲרָם וַֽעֲזַרְיָהוּ בֶן-יְהוֹרָם מֶלֶךְ יְהוּדָה יָרַד לִרְאוֹת אֶת-יְהוֹרָם בֶּן-אַחְאָב בְּיִזְרְעֶאל כִּֽי-חֹלֶה הֽוּא׃

And he returned to be healed in Jezreel because of the wounds which were given him at Ramah, when he fought with Hazael king of Syria. And Azariah the son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to see Jehoram the son of Ahab at Jezreel, because he was sick.

2 Chronicles 23

וּבַשָּׁנָה הַשְּׁבִעִית הִתְחַזַּק יְהֽוֹיָדָע וַיִּקַּח אֶת-שָׂרֵי הַמֵּאוֹת לַֽעֲזַרְיָהוּ בֶן-יְרֹחָם וּלְיִשְׁמָעֵאל בֶּן-יְהֽוֹחָנָן וְלַֽעֲזַרְיָהוּ בֶן-עוֹבֵד וְאֶת-מַֽעֲשֵׂיָהוּ בֶן-עֲדָיָהוּ וְאֶת-אֱלִֽישָׁפָט בֶּן-זִכְרִי עִמּוֹ בַבְּרִֽית׃

And in the seventh year Jehoiada strengthened himself, and took the captains of hundreds, Azariah the son of Jeroham, and Ishmael the son of Jehohanan, and Azariah the son of Obed, and Maaseiah the son of Adaiah, and Elishaphat the son of Zichri, into covenant with him.

2 Chronicles 26

וַיָּבֹא אַֽחֲרָיו עֲזַרְיָהוּ הַכֹּהֵן וְעִמּוֹ כֹּֽהֲנִים׀ לַֽיהוָה שְׁמוֹנִים בְּנֵי-חָֽיִל׃

And Azariah the priest went in after him, and with him fourscore priests of the LORD, that were valiant men:

וַיִּפֶן אֵלָיו עֲזַרְיָהוּ כֹהֵן הָרֹאשׁ וְכָל-הַכֹּֽהֲנִים וְהִנֵּה-הוּא מְצֹרָע בְּמִצְחוֹ וַיַּבְהִלוּהוּ מִשָּׁם וְגַם-הוּא נִדְחַף לָצֵאת כִּי נִגְּעוֹ יְהוָֽה׃

And Azariah the chief priest, and all the priests, looked upon him, and, behold, he was leprous in his forehead, and they thrust him out from thence; yea, himself hasted also to go out, because the LORD had smitten him.

2 Chronicles 28

וַיָּקֻמוּ אֲנָשִׁים מֵֽרָאשֵׁי בְנֵֽי-אֶפְרַיִם עֲזַרְיָהוּ בֶן-יְהֽוֹחָנָן בֶּֽרֶכְיָהוּ בֶן-מְשִׁלֵּמוֹת וִֽיחִזְקִיָּהוּ בֶּן-שַׁלֻּם וַֽעֲמָשָׂא בֶּן-חַדְלָי עַל-הַבָּאִים מִן-הַצָּבָֽא׃

Then certain of the heads of the children of Ephraim, Azariah the son of Johanan, Berechiah the son of Meshillemoth, and Jehizkiah the son of Shallum, and Amasa the son of Hadlai, stood up against them that came from the war,

2 Chronicles 31

וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו עֲזַרְיָהוּ הַכֹּהֵן הָרֹאשׁ לְבֵית צָדוֹק וַיֹּאמֶר מֵֽהָחֵל הַתְּרוּמָה לָבִיא בֵית-יְהוָה אָכוֹל וְשָׂבוֹעַ וְהוֹתֵר עַד-לָרוֹב כִּי יְהוָה בֵּרַךְ אֶת-עַמּוֹ וְהַנּוֹתָר אֶת-הֶֽהָמוֹן הַזֶּֽה׃

And Azariah the chief priest of the house of Zadok answered him, and said, Since the people began to bring the offerings into the house of the LORD, we have had enough to eat, and have left plenty: for the LORD hath blessed his people; and that which is left is this great store.

וִֽיחִיאֵל וַֽעֲזַזְיָהוּ וְנַחַת וַֽעֲשָׂהאֵל וִֽירִימוֹת וְיֽוֹזָבָד וֶֽאֱלִיאֵל וְיִסְמַכְיָהוּ וּמַחַת וּבְנָיָהוּ פְּקִידִים מִיַּד ‫(כונניהו)‬ כָּֽנַנְיָהוּ וְשִׁמְעִי אָחִיו בְּמִפְקַד יְחִזְקִיָּהוּ הַמֶּלֶךְ וַֽעֲזַרְיָהוּ נְגִיד בֵּית-הָֽאֱלֹהִֽים׃

And Jehiel, and Azaziah, and Nahath, and Asahel, and Jerimoth, and Jozabad, and Eliel, and Ismachiah, and Mahath, and Benaiah, were overseers under the hand of Cononiah and Shimei his brother, at the commandment of Hezekiah the king, and Azariah the ruler of the house of God.

Ezra 7

וְאַחַר הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה בְּמַלְכוּת אַרְתַּחְשַׁסְתְּא מֶֽלֶךְ-פָּרָס עֶזְרָא בֶּן-שְׂרָיָה בֶּן-עֲזַרְיָה בֶּן-חִלְקִיָּֽה׃

Now after these things, in the reign of Artaxerxes king of Persia, Ezra the son of Seraiah, the son of Azariah, the son of Hilkiah,

בֶּן-אֲמַרְיָה בֶן-עֲזַרְיָה בֶּן-מְרָיֽוֹת׃

The son of Amariah, the son of Azariah, the son of Meraioth,

Nehemiah 3

אַֽחֲרָיו הֶֽחֱזִיק בִּנְיָמִן וְחַשּׁוּב נֶגֶד בֵּיתָם אַֽחֲרָיו הֶֽחֱזִיק עֲזַרְיָה בֶן-מַֽעֲשֵׂיָה בֶּן-עֲנָֽנְיָה אֵצֶל בֵּיתֽוֹ׃

After him repaired Benjamin and Hashub over against their house. After him repaired Azariah the son of Maaseiah the son of Ananiah by his house.

אַֽחֲרָיו הֶֽחֱזִיק בִּנּוּי בֶּן-חֵֽנָדָד מִדָּה שֵׁנִית מִבֵּית עֲזַרְיָה עַד-הַמִּקְצוֹעַ וְעַד-הַפִּנָּֽה׃

After him repaired Binnui the son of Henadad another piece, from the house of Azariah unto the turning of the wall, even unto the corner.

Nehemiah 7

הַבָּאִים עִם-זְרֻבָּבֶל יֵשׁוּעַ נְחֶמְיָה עֲזַרְיָה רַֽעַמְיָה נַֽחֲמָנִי מָרְדֳּכַי בִּלְשָׁן מִסְפֶּרֶת בִּגְוַי נְחוּם בַּֽעֲנָה מִסְפַּר אַנְשֵׁי עַם יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

Who came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Bigvai, Nehum, Baanah. The number, I say, of the men of the people of Israel was this;

Nehemiah 8

וְיֵשׁוּעַ וּבָנִי וְשֵׁרֵבְיָה׀ יָמִין עַקּוּב שַׁבְּתַי׀ הֽוֹדִיָּה מַֽעֲשֵׂיָה קְלִיטָא עֲזַרְיָה יֽוֹזָבָד חָנָן פְּלָאיָה וְהַלְוִיִּם מְבִינִים אֶת-הָעָם לַתּוֹרָה וְהָעָם עַל-עָמְדָֽם׃

Also Jeshua, and Bani, and Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodijah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, and the Levites, caused the people to understand the law: and the people stood in their place.

Then spake Azariah the son of Hoshaiah, and Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the proud men, saying unto Jeremiah, Thou speakest falsely: the LORD our God hath not sent thee to say, Go not into Egypt to sojourn there:

Daniel 1

וַיְהִי בָהֶם מִבְּנֵי יְהוּדָה דָּנִיֵּאל חֲנַנְיָה מִֽישָׁאֵל וַעֲזַרְיָֽה׃

Now among these were of the children of Judah, Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah:

וַיָּשֶׂם לָהֶם שַׂר הַסָּרִיסִים שֵׁמוֹת וַיָּשֶׂם לְדָֽנִיֵּאל בֵּלְטְשַׁאצַּר וְלַֽחֲנַנְיָה שַׁדְרַךְ וּלְמִֽישָׁאֵל מֵישַׁךְ וְלַעֲזַרְיָה עֲבֵד נְגֽוֹ׃

Unto whom the prince of the eunuchs gave names: for he gave unto Daniel the name of Belteshazzar; and to Hananiah, of Shadrach; and to Mishael, of Meshach; and to Azariah, of Abed-nego.

וַיֹּאמֶר דָּנִיֵּאל אֶל-הַמֶּלְצַר אֲשֶׁר מִנָּה שַׂר הַסָּֽרִיסִים עַל-דָּנִיֵּאל חֲנַנְיָה מִֽישָׁאֵל וַעֲזַרְיָֽה׃

Then said Daniel to Melzar, whom the prince of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah,

וַיְדַבֵּר אִתָּם הַמֶּלֶךְ וְלֹא נִמְצָא מִכֻּלָּם כְּדָנִיֵּאל חֲנַנְיָה מִֽישָׁאֵל וַעֲזַרְיָה וַיַּֽעַמְדוּ לִפְנֵי הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃

And the king communed with them; and among them all was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: therefore stood they before the king.

Daniel 2

אֱדַיִן דָּֽנִיֵּאל לְבַיְתֵהּ אֲזַל וְלַחֲנַנְיָה מִֽישָׁאֵל וַעֲזַרְיָה חַבְרוֹהִי מִלְּתָא הוֹדַֽע׃

Then Daniel went to his house, and made the thing known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions:

וְדָנִיֵּאל בְּעָא מִן-מַלְכָּא וּמַנִּי עַל עֲבִֽידְתָּא דִּי מְדִינַת בָּבֶל לְשַׁדְרַךְ מֵישַׁךְ וַעֲבֵד נְגוֹ וְדָנִיֵּאל בִּתְרַע מַלְכָּֽא׃

Then Daniel requested of the king, and he set Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, over the affairs of the province of Babylon: but Daniel sat in the gate of the king.

Daniel 3

אִיתַי גֻּבְרִין יְהוּדָאיִן דִּֽי-מַנִּיתָ יָתְהוֹן עַל-עֲבִידַת מְדִינַת בָּבֶל שַׁדְרַךְ מֵישַׁךְ וַעֲבֵד נְגוֹ גֻּבְרַיָּא אִלֵּךְ לָא-שָׂמֽוּ עֲלָיךְ מַלְכָּא טְעֵם לֵֽאלָהָיךְ לָא פָלְחִין וּלְצֶלֶם דַּהֲבָא דִּי הֲקֵימְתָּ לָא סָגְדִֽין׃

There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

בֵּאדַיִן נְבוּכַדְנֶצַּר בִּרְגַז וַֽחֲמָא אֲמַר לְהַיְתָיָה לְשַׁדְרַךְ מֵישַׁךְ וַעֲבֵד נְגוֹ בֵּאדַיִן גֻּבְרַיָּא אִלֵּךְ הֵיתָיוּ קֳדָם מַלְכָּֽא׃

Then Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego. Then they brought these men before the king.

עָנֵה נְבֽוּכַדְנֶצַּר וְאָמַר לְהוֹן הַצְדָּא שַׁדְרַךְ מֵישַׁךְ וַעֲבֵד נְגוֹ לֵֽאלָהַי לָא אִֽיתֵיכוֹן פָּֽלְחִין וּלְצֶלֶם דַּהֲבָא דִּי הֲקֵימֶת לָא סָֽגְדִֽין׃

Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?

עֲנוֹ שַׁדְרַךְ מֵישַׁךְ וַעֲבֵד נְגוֹ וְאָמְרִין לְמַלְכָּא נְבֽוּכַדְנֶצַּר לָֽא-חַשְׁחִין אֲנַחְנָא עַל-דְּנָה פִּתְגָם לַהֲתָבוּתָֽךְ׃

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.

בֵּאדַיִן נְבוּכַדְנֶצַּר הִתְמְלִי חֱמָא וּצְלֵם אַנְפּוֹהִי אֶשְׁתַּנִּו עַל-שַׁדְרַךְ מֵישַׁךְ וַעֲבֵד נְגוֹ עָנֵה וְאָמַר לְמֵזֵא לְאַתּוּנָא חַד-שִׁבְעָה עַל דִּי חֲזֵה לְמֵזְיֵֽהּ׃

Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.

וּלְגֻבְרִין גִּבָּֽרֵי-חַיִל דִּי בְחַיְלֵהּ אֲמַר לְכַפָּתָה לְשַׁדְרַךְ מֵישַׁךְ וַעֲבֵד נְגוֹ לְמִרְמֵא לְאַתּוּן נוּרָא יָקִֽדְתָּֽא׃

And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.

כָּל-קֳבֵל דְּנָה מִן-דִּי מִלַּת מַלְכָּא מַחְצְפָה וְאַתּוּנָא אֵזֵה יַתִּירָה גֻּבְרַיָּא אִלֵּךְ דִּי הַסִּקוּ לְשַׁדְרַךְ מֵישַׁךְ וַעֲבֵד נְגוֹ קַטִּל הִמּוֹן שְׁבִיבָא דִּי נוּרָֽא׃

Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego.

וְגֻבְרַיָּא אִלֵּךְ תְּלָתֵּהוֹן שַׁדְרַךְ מֵישַׁךְ וַעֲבֵד נְגוֹ נְפַלוּ לְגֽוֹא-אַתּוּן-נוּרָא יָֽקִדְתָּא מְכַפְּתִֽין׃

And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

בֵּאדַיִן קְרֵב נְבוּכַדְנֶצַּר לִתְרַע אַתּוּן נוּרָא יָקִֽדְתָּא עָנֵה וְאָמַר שַׁדְרַךְ מֵישַׁךְ וַעֲבֵד-נְגוֹ עַבְדוֹהִי דִּֽי-אֱלָהָא עִלָּיָא פֻּקוּ וֶאֱתוֹ בֵּאדַיִן נָֽפְקִין שַׁדְרַךְ מֵישַׁךְ וַעֲבֵד נְגוֹ מִן-גּוֹא נוּרָֽא׃

Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, came forth of the midst of the fire.

עָנֵה נְבֽוּכַדְנֶצַּר וְאָמַר בְּרִיךְ אֱלָהֲהוֹן דִּֽי-שַׁדְרַךְ מֵישַׁךְ וַעֲבֵד נְגוֹ דִּֽי-שְׁלַח מַלְאֲכֵהּ וְשֵׁיזִב לְעַבְדוֹהִי דִּי הִתְרְחִצוּ עֲלוֹהִי וּמִלַּת מַלְכָּא שַׁנִּיו וִיהַבוּ גֶשְׁמְיהוֹן דִּי לָֽא-יִפְלְחוּן וְלָֽא-יִסְגְּדוּן לְכָל-אֱלָהּ לָהֵן לֵאלָֽהֲהֽוֹן׃

Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.

וּמִנִּי שִׂים טְעֵם דִּי כָל-עַם אֻמָּה וְלִשָּׁן דִּֽי-יֵאמַר שָׁלהּ עַל אֱלָהֲהוֹן דִּֽי-שַׁדְרַךְ מֵישַׁךְ וַעֲבֵד נְגוֹא הַדָּמִין יִתְעֲבֵד וּבַיְתֵהּ נְוָלִי יִשְׁתַּוֵּה כָּל-קֳבֵל דִּי לָא אִיתַי אֱלָה אָחֳרָן דִּֽי-יִכֻּל לְהַצָּלָה כִּדְנָֽה׃

Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.

בֵּאדַיִן מַלְכָּא הַצְלַח לְשַׁדְרַךְ מֵישַׁךְ וַעֲבֵד נְגוֹ בִּמְדִינַת בָּבֶֽל׃

Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, in the province of Babylon.
