וַיִּשְׁמַע אֶת-דִּבְרֵי בְנֵֽי-לָבָן לֵאמֹר לָקַח יַֽעֲקֹב אֵת כָּל-אֲשֶׁר לְאָבִינוּ וּמֵֽאֲשֶׁר לְאָבִינוּ עָשָׂה אֵת כָּל-הַכָּבֹד הַזֶּֽה׃
And he heard the words of Laban's sons, saying, Jacob hath taken away all that was our father's; and of that which was our father's hath he gotten all this glory.
וְהִגַּדְתֶּם לְאָבִי אֶת-כָּל-כְּבוֹדִי בְּמִצְרַיִם וְאֵת כָּל-אֲשֶׁר רְאִיתֶם וּמִֽהַרְתֶּם וְהֽוֹרַדְתֶּם אֶת-אָבִי הֵֽנָּה׃
And ye shall tell my father of all my glory in Egypt, and of all that ye have seen; and ye shall haste and bring down my father hither.
בְּסֹדָם אַל-תָּבֹא נַפְשִׁי בִּקְהָלָם אַל-תֵּחַד כְּבֹדִי כִּי בְאַפָּם הָרְגוּ אִישׁ וּבִרְצֹנָם עִקְּרוּ-שֽׁוֹר׃
O my soul, come not thou into their secret; unto their assembly, mine honour, be not thou united: for in their anger they slew a man, and in their selfwill they digged down a wall.
וּבֹקֶר וּרְאִיתֶם אֶת-כְּבוֹד יְהוָה בְּשָׁמְעוֹ אֶת-תְּלֻנֹּֽתֵיכֶם עַל-יְהוָה וְנַחְנוּ מָה כִּי (תלונו) תַלִּינוּ עָלֵֽינוּ׃
And in the morning, then ye shall see the glory of the LORD; for that he heareth your murmurings against the LORD: and what are we, that ye murmur against us?
וַיְהִי כְּדַבֵּר אַֽהֲרֹן אֶל-כָּל-עֲדַת בְּנֵֽי-יִשְׂרָאֵל וַיִּפְנוּ אֶל-הַמִּדְבָּר וְהִנֵּה כְּבוֹד יְהוָה נִרְאָה בֶּֽעָנָֽן׃
And it came to pass, as Aaron spake unto the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and, behold, the glory of the LORD appeared in the cloud.
וַיִּשְׁכֹּן כְּבוֹד-יְהוָה עַל-הַר סִינַי וַיְכַסֵּהוּ הֶֽעָנָן שֵׁשֶׁת יָמִים וַיִּקְרָא אֶל-מֹשֶׁה בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי מִתּוֹךְ הֶֽעָנָֽן׃
And the glory of the LORD abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud.
וּמַרְאֵה כְּבוֹד יְהוָה כְּאֵשׁ אֹכֶלֶת בְּרֹאשׁ הָהָר לְעֵינֵי בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
And the sight of the glory of the LORD was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel.
וְעָשִׂיתָ בִגְדֵי-קֹדֶשׁ לְאַֽהֲרֹן אָחִיךָ לְכָבוֹד וּלְתִפְאָֽרֶת׃
And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother for glory and for beauty.
וְלִבְנֵי אַֽהֲרֹן תַּֽעֲשֶׂה כֻתֳּנֹת וְעָשִׂיתָ לָהֶם אַבְנֵטִים וּמִגְבָּעוֹת תַּֽעֲשֶׂה לָהֶם לְכָבוֹד וּלְתִפְאָֽרֶת׃
And for Aaron's sons thou shalt make coats, and thou shalt make for them girdles, and bonnets shalt thou make for them, for glory and for beauty.
וְנֹֽעַדְתִּי שָׁמָּה לִבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְנִקְדַּשׁ בִּכְבֹדִֽי׃
And there I will meet with the children of Israel, and the tabernacle shall be sanctified by my glory.
וְהָיָה בַּֽעֲבֹר כְּבֹדִי וְשַׂמְתִּיךָ בְּנִקְרַת הַצּוּר וְשַׂכֹּתִי כַפִּי עָלֶיךָ עַד-עָבְרִֽי׃
And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:
וַיְכַס הֶֽעָנָן אֶת-אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וּכְבוֹד יְהוָה מָלֵא אֶת-הַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃
Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
וְלֹֽא-יָכֹל מֹשֶׁה לָבוֹא אֶל-אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד כִּֽי-שָׁכַן עָלָיו הֶֽעָנָן וּכְבוֹד יְהוָה מָלֵא אֶת-הַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃
And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה זֶה הַדָּבָר אֲשֶׁר-צִוָּה יְהוָה תַּֽעֲשׂוּ וְיֵרָא אֲלֵיכֶם כְּבוֹד יְהוָֽה׃
And Moses said, This is the thing which the LORD commanded that ye should do: and the glory of the LORD shall appear unto you.
וַיָּבֹא מֹשֶׁה וְאַֽהֲרֹן אֶל-אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וַיֵּצְאוּ וַֽיְבָרֲכוּ אֶת-הָעָם וַיֵּרָא כְבוֹד-יְהוָה אֶל-כָּל-הָעָֽם׃
And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the people.
וַיֹּֽאמְרוּ כָּל-הָעֵדָה לִרְגּוֹם אֹתָם בָּֽאֲבָנִים וּכְבוֹד יְהוָה נִרְאָה בְּאֹהֶל מוֹעֵד אֶֽל-כָּל-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
But all the congregation bade stone them with stones. And the glory of the LORD appeared in the tabernacle of the congregation before all the children of Israel.
וְאוּלָם חַי-אָנִי וְיִמָּלֵא כְבוֹד-יְהוָה אֶת-כָּל-הָאָֽרֶץ׃
But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD.
כִּי כָל-הָֽאֲנָשִׁים הָֽרֹאִים אֶת-כְּבֹדִי וְאֶת-אֹתֹתַי אֲשֶׁר-עָשִׂיתִי בְמִצְרַיִם וּבַמִּדְבָּר וַיְנַסּוּ אֹתִי זֶה עֶשֶׂר פְּעָמִים וְלֹא שָֽׁמְעוּ בְּקוֹלִֽי׃
Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice;
וַיַּקְהֵל עֲלֵיהֶם קֹרַח אֶת-כָּל-הָעֵדָה אֶל-פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וַיֵּרָא כְבוֹד-יְהוָה אֶל-כָּל-הָֽעֵדָֽה׃
And Korah gathered all the congregation against them unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the congregation.
וַיְהִי בְּהִקָּהֵל הָֽעֵדָה עַל-מֹשֶׁה וְעַֽל-אַהֲרֹן וַיִּפְנוּ אֶל-אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וְהִנֵּה כִסָּהוּ הֶֽעָנָן וַיֵּרָא כְּבוֹד יְהוָֽה׃
And it came to pass, when the congregation was gathered against Moses and against Aaron, that they looked toward the tabernacle of the congregation: and, behold, the cloud covered it, and the glory of the LORD appeared.
וַיָּבֹא מֹשֶׁה וְאַֽהֲרֹן מִפְּנֵי הַקָּהָל אֶל-פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וַֽיִּפְּלוּ עַל-פְּנֵיהֶם וַיֵּרָא כְבוֹד-יְהוָה אֲלֵיהֶֽם׃
And Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they fell upon their faces: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto them.
וְעַתָּה בְּרַח-לְךָ אֶל-מְקוֹמֶךָ אָמַרְתִּי כַּבֵּד אֲכַבֶּדְךָ וְהִנֵּה מְנָֽעֲךָ יְהוָה מִכָּבֽוֹד׃
Therefore now flee thou to thy place: I thought to promote great thee unto honour; but, lo, the LORD hath kept thee back from honour.
וַתֹּֽאמְרוּ הֵן הֶרְאָנוּ יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ אֶת-כְּבֹדוֹ וְאֶת-גָּדְלוֹ וְאֶת-קֹלוֹ שָׁמַעְנוּ מִתּוֹךְ הָאֵשׁ הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה רָאִינוּ כִּֽי-יְדַבֵּר אֱלֹהִים אֶת-הָֽאָדָם וָחָֽי׃
And ye said, Behold, the LORD our God hath shewed us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God doth talk with man, and he liveth.
וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוֹשֻׁעַ אֶל-עָכָן בְּנִי שִֽׂים-נָא כָבוֹד לַֽיהוָה אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְתֶן-לוֹ תוֹדָה וְהַגֶּד-נָא לִי מֶה עָשִׂיתָ אַל-תְּכַחֵד מִמֶּֽנִּי׃
And Joshua said unto Achan, My son, give, I pray thee, glory to the LORD God of Israel, and make confession unto him; and tell me now what thou hast done; hide it not from me.
מֵקִים מֵֽעָפָר דָּל מֵֽאַשְׁפֹּת יָרִים אֶבְיוֹן לְהוֹשִׁיב עִם-נְדִיבִים וְכִסֵּא כָבוֹד יַנְחִלֵם כִּי לַֽיהוָה מְצֻקֵי אֶרֶץ וַיָּשֶׁת עֲלֵיהֶם תֵּבֵֽל׃
He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD's, and he hath set the world upon them.
וַתִּקְרָא לַנַּעַר אִֽי-כָבוֹד לֵאמֹר גָּלָה כָבוֹד מִיִּשְׂרָאֵל אֶל-הִלָּקַח אֲרוֹן הָֽאֱלֹהִים וְאֶל-חָמִיהָ וְאִישָֽׁהּ׃
And she named the child Ichabod, saying, The glory is departed from Israel: because the ark of God was taken, and because of her father in law and her husband.
וַתֹּאמֶר גָּלָה כָבוֹד מִיִּשְׂרָאֵל כִּי נִלְקַח אֲרוֹן הָֽאֱלֹהִֽים׃
And she said, The glory is departed from Israel: for the ark of God is taken.
וַֽעֲשִׂיתֶם צַלְמֵי (עפליכם) טְחֹרֵיכֶם וְצַלְמֵי עַכְבְּרֵיכֶם הַמַּשְׁחִיתִם אֶת-הָאָרֶץ וּנְתַתֶּם לֵֽאלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל כָּבוֹד אוּלַי יָקֵל אֶת-יָדוֹ מֵֽעֲלֵיכֶם וּמֵעַל אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶם וּמֵעַל אַרְצְכֶֽם׃
Wherefore ye shall make images of your emerods, and images of your mice that mar the land; and ye shall give glory unto the God of Israel: peradventure he will lighten his hand from off you, and from off your gods, and from off your land.
וְגַם אֲשֶׁר לֹֽא-שָׁאַלְתָּ נָתַתִּי לָךְ גַּם-עֹשֶׁר גַּם-כָּבוֹד אֲשֶׁר לֹֽא-הָיָה כָמוֹךָ אִישׁ בַּמְּלָכִים כָּל-יָמֶֽיךָ׃
And I have also given thee that which thou hast not asked, both riches, and honour: so that there shall not be any among the kings like unto thee all thy days.
וְלֹֽא-יָכְלוּ הַכֹּֽהֲנִים לַֽעֲמֹד לְשָׁרֵת מִפְּנֵי הֶֽעָנָן כִּֽי-מָלֵא כְבוֹד-יְהוָה אֶת-בֵּית יְהוָֽה׃
So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of the LORD.
סַפְּרוּ בַגּוֹיִם אֶת-כְּבוֹדוֹ בְּכָל-הָֽעַמִּים נִפְלְאֹתָֽיו׃
Declare his glory among the heathen; his marvellous works among all nations.
הָבוּ לַֽיהוָה מִשְׁפְּחוֹת עַמִּים הָבוּ לַֽיהוָה כָּבוֹד וָעֹֽז׃
Give unto the LORD, ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.
הָבוּ לַֽיהוָה כְּבוֹד שְׁמוֹ שְׂאוּ מִנְחָה וּבֹאוּ לְפָנָיו הִשְׁתַּֽחֲווּ לַֽיהוָה בְּהַדְרַת-קֹֽדֶשׁ׃
Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
מַה-יּוֹסִיף עוֹד דָּוִיד אֵלֶיךָ לְכָבוֹד אֶת-עַבְדֶּךָ וְאַתָּה אֶֽת-עַבְדְּךָ יָדָֽעְתָּ׃
What can David speak more to thee for the honour of thy servant? for thou knowest thy servant.
וְהָעֹשֶׁר וְהַכָּבוֹד מִלְּפָנֶיךָ וְאַתָּה מוֹשֵׁל בַּכֹּל וּבְיָֽדְךָ כֹּחַ וּגְבוּרָה וּבְיָדְךָ לְגַדֵּל וּלְחַזֵּק לַכֹּֽל׃
Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.
וַיָּמָת בְּשֵׂיבָה טוֹבָה שְׂבַע יָמִים עֹשֶׁר וְכָבוֹד וַיִּמְלֹךְ שְׁלֹמֹה בְנוֹ תַּחְתָּֽיו׃
And he died in a good old age, full of days, riches, and honour: and Solomon his son reigned in his stead.
וַיֹּאמֶר אֱלֹהִים׀ לִשְׁלֹמֹה יַעַן אֲשֶׁר הָֽיְתָה זֹאת עִם-לְבָבֶךָ וְלֹֽא-שָׁאַלְתָּ עֹשֶׁר נְכָסִים וְכָבוֹד וְאֵת נֶפֶשׁ שֹֽׂנְאֶיךָ וְגַם-יָמִים רַבִּים לֹא שָׁאָלְתָּ וַתִּֽשְׁאַל-לְךָ חָכְמָה וּמַדָּע אֲשֶׁר תִּשְׁפּוֹט אֶת-עַמִּי אֲשֶׁר הִמְלַכְתִּיךָ עָלָֽיו׃
And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king:
הַֽחָכְמָה וְהַמַּדָּע נָתוּן לָךְ וְעֹשֶׁר וּנְכָסִים וְכָבוֹד אֶתֶּן-לָךְ אֲשֶׁר׀ לֹא-הָיָה כֵן לַמְּלָכִים אֲשֶׁר לְפָנֶיךָ וְאַֽחֲרֶיךָ לֹא יִֽהְיֶה-כֵּֽן׃
Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honour, such as none of the kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like.
וְלֹֽא-יָכְלוּ הַכֹּֽהֲנִים לַֽעֲמוֹד לְשָׁרֵת מִפְּנֵי הֶֽעָנָן כִּֽי-מָלֵא כְבוֹד-יְהוָה אֶת-בֵּית הָֽאֱלֹהִֽים׃
So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of God.
וּכְכַלּוֹת שְׁלֹמֹה לְהִתְפַּלֵּל וְהָאֵשׁ יָֽרְדָה מֵֽהַשָּׁמַיִם וַתֹּאכַל הָֽעֹלָה וְהַזְּבָחִים וּכְבוֹד יְהוָה מָלֵא אֶת-הַבָּֽיִת׃
Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house.
וְלֹא יָֽכְלוּ הַכֹּהֲנִים לָבוֹא אֶל-בֵּית יְהוָה כִּֽי-מָלֵא כְבוֹד-יְהוָה אֶת-בֵּית יְהוָֽה׃
And the priests could not enter into the house of the LORD, because the glory of the LORD had filled the LORD's house.
וְכֹל׀ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל רֹאִים בְּרֶדֶת הָאֵשׁ וּכְבוֹד יְהוָה עַל-הַבָּיִת וַיִּכְרְעוּ אַפַּיִם אַרְצָה עַל-הָרִֽצְפָה וַיִּֽשְׁתַּחֲווּ וְהֹדוֹת לַֽיהוָה כִּי טוֹב כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃
And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the LORD upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.
וַיָּכֶן יְהוָה אֶת-הַמַּמְלָכָה בְּיָדוֹ וַיִּתְּנוּ כָל-יְהוּדָה מִנְחָה לִיהֽוֹשָׁפָט וַיְהִי-לוֹ עֹֽשֶׁר-וְכָבוֹד לָרֹֽב׃
Therefore the LORD stablished the kingdom in his hand; and all Judah brought to Jehoshaphat presents; and he had riches and honour in abundance.
וַיְהִי לִיהֽוֹשָׁפָט עֹשֶׁר וְכָבוֹד לָרֹב וַיִּתְחַתֵּן לְאַחְאָֽב׃
Now Jehoshaphat had riches and honour in abundance, and joined affinity with Ahab.
וַיַּֽעַמְדוּ עַל-עֻזִּיָּהוּ הַמֶּלֶךְ וַיֹּאמְרוּ לוֹ לֹֽא-לְךָ עֻזִּיָּהוּ לְהַקְטִיר לַֽיהוָה כִּי לַכֹּֽהֲנִים בְּנֵֽי-אַהֲרֹן הַמְקֻדָּשִׁים לְהַקְטִיר צֵא מִן-הַמִּקְדָּשׁ כִּי מָעַלְתָּ וְלֹֽא-לְךָ לְכָבוֹד מֵֽיְהוָה אֱלֹהִֽים׃
And they withstood Uzziah the king, and said unto him, It appertaineth not unto thee, Uzziah, to burn incense unto the LORD, but to the priests the sons of Aaron, that are consecrated to burn incense: go out of the sanctuary; for thou hast trespassed; neither shall it be for thine honour from the LORD God.
וַיְהִי לִֽיחִזְקִיָּהוּ עֹשֶׁר וְכָבוֹד הַרְבֵּה מְאֹד וְאֹֽצָרוֹת עָֽשָׂה-לוֹ לְכֶסֶף וּלְזָהָב וּלְאֶבֶן יְקָרָה וְלִבְשָׂמִים וּלְמָגִנִּים וּלְכֹל כְּלֵי חֶמְדָּֽה׃
And Hezekiah had exceeding much riches and honour: and he made himself treasuries for silver, and for gold, and for precious stones, and for spices, and for shields, and for all manner of pleasant jewels;
וַיִּשְׁכַּב יְחִזְקִיָּהוּ עִם-אֲבֹתָיו וַֽיִּקְבְּרֻהוּ בְּֽמַעֲלֵה קִבְרֵי בְנֵֽי-דָוִיד וְכָבוֹד עָֽשׂוּ-לוֹ בְמוֹתוֹ כָּל-יְהוּדָה וְיֹֽשְׁבֵי יְרֽוּשָׁלִָם וַיִּמְלֹךְ מְנַשֶּׁה בְנוֹ תַּחְתָּֽיו׃
And Hezekiah slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the chiefest of the sepulchres of the sons of David: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem did him honour at his death. And Manasseh his son reigned in his stead.
וַיֹּֽאמְרוּ הַלְוִיִּם יֵשׁוּעַ וְקַדְמִיאֵל בָּנִי חֲשַׁבְנְיָה שֵׁרֵֽבְיָה הֽוֹדִיָּה שְׁבַנְיָה פְתַֽחְיָה קוּמוּ בָּרֲכוּ אֶת-יְהוָה אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶם מִן-הָֽעוֹלָם עַד-הָֽעוֹלָם וִיבָֽרְכוּ שֵׁם כְּבוֹדֶךָ וּמְרוֹמַם עַל-כָּל-בְּרָכָה וּתְהִלָּֽה׃
Then the Levites, Jeshua, and Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabniah, Sherebiah, Hodijah, Shebaniah, and Pethahiah, said, Stand up and bless the LORD your God for ever and ever: and blessed be thy glorious name, which is exalted above all blessing and praise.
בְּהַרְאֹתוֹ אֶת-עֹשֶׁר כְּבוֹד מַלְכוּתוֹ וְאֶת-יְקָר תִּפְאֶרֶת גְּדוּלָּתוֹ יָמִים רַבִּים שְׁמוֹנִים וּמְאַת יֽוֹם׃
When he shewed the riches of his glorious kingdom and the honour of his excellent majesty many days, even an hundred and fourscore days.
וַיְסַפֵּר לָהֶם הָמָן אֶת-כְּבוֹד עָשְׁרוֹ וְרֹב בָּנָיו וְאֵת כָּל-אֲשֶׁר גִּדְּלוֹ הַמֶּלֶךְ וְאֵת אֲשֶׁר נִשְּׂאוֹ עַל-הַשָּׂרִים וְעַבְדֵי הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃
And Haman told them of the glory of his riches, and the multitude of his children, and all the things wherein the king had promoted him, and how he had advanced him above the princes and servants of the king.
כְּבוֹדִי מֵעָלַי הִפְשִׁיט וַיָּסַר עֲטֶרֶת רֹאשִֽׁי׃
He hath stripped me of my glory, and taken the crown from my head.
כְּבוֹדִי חָדָשׁ עִמָּדִי וְקַשְׁתִּי בְּיָדִי תַחֲלִֽיף׃
My glory was fresh in me, and my bow was renewed in my hand.
וְאַתָּה יְהוָה מָגֵן בַּעֲדִי כְּבוֹדִי וּמֵרִים רֹאשִֽׁי׃
But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
בְּנֵי אִישׁ עַד-מֶה כְבוֹדִי לִכְלִמָּה תֶּאֱהָבוּן רִיק תְּבַקְשׁוּ כָזָב סֶֽלָה׃
O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah.
יִֽרַדֹּף אוֹיֵב׀ נַפְשִׁי וְיַשֵּׂג וְיִרְמֹס לָאָרֶץ חַיָּי וּכְבוֹדִי׀ לֶעָפָר יַשְׁכֵּן סֶֽלָה׃
Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah.
וַתְּחַסְּרֵהוּ מְּעַט מֵאֱלֹהִים וְכָבוֹד וְהָדָר תְּעַטְּרֵֽהוּ׃
For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
לָכֵן׀ שָׂמַח לִבִּי וַיָּגֶל כְּבוֹדִי אַף-בְּשָׂרִי יִשְׁכֹּן לָבֶֽטַח׃
Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.
הַשָּׁמַיִם מְֽסַפְּרִים כְּבֽוֹד-אֵל וּֽמַעֲשֵׂה יָדָיו מַגִּיד הָרָקִֽיעַ׃
The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
גָּדוֹל כְּבוֹדוֹ בִּישׁוּעָתֶךָ הוֹד וְהָדָר תְּשַׁוֶּה עָלָֽיו׃
His glory is great in thy salvation: honour and majesty hast thou laid upon him.
שְׂאוּ שְׁעָרִים׀ רָֽאשֵׁיכֶם וְֽהִנָּשְׂאוּ פִּתְחֵי עוֹלָם וְיָבוֹא מֶלֶךְ הַכָּבֽוֹד׃
Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
מִי זֶה מֶלֶךְ הַכָּבוֹד יְהוָה עִזּוּז וְגִבּוֹר יְהוָה גִּבּוֹר מִלְחָמָֽה׃
Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.
שְׂאוּ שְׁעָרִים׀ רָֽאשֵׁיכֶם וּשְׂאוּ פִּתְחֵי עוֹלָם וְיָבֹא מֶלֶךְ הַכָּבֽוֹד׃
Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
מִי הוּא זֶה מֶלֶךְ הַכָּבוֹד יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת הוּא מֶלֶךְ הַכָּבוֹד סֶֽלָה׃
Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.
יְֽהוָה אָהַבְתִּי מְעוֹן בֵּיתֶךָ וּמְקוֹם מִשְׁכַּן כְּבוֹדֶֽךָ׃
LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.
הָבוּ לַֽיהוָה בְּנֵי אֵלִים הָבוּ לַיהוָה כָּבוֹד וָעֹֽז׃
Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.
הָבוּ לַֽיהוָה כְּבוֹד שְׁמוֹ הִשְׁתַּחֲווּ לַיהוָה בְּהַדְרַת-קֹֽדֶשׁ׃
Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
קוֹל יְהוָה עַל-הַמָּיִם אֵֽל-הַכָּבוֹד הִרְעִים יְהוָה עַל-מַיִם רַבִּֽים׃
The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters.
קוֹל יְהוָה׀ יְחוֹלֵל אַיָּלוֹת וַֽיֶּחֱשֹׂף יְעָרוֹת וּבְהֵיכָלוֹ כֻּלּוֹ אֹמֵר כָּבֽוֹד׃
The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.
לְמַעַן׀ יְזַמֶּרְךָ כָבוֹד וְלֹא יִדֹּם יְהוָה אֱלֹהַי לְעוֹלָם אוֹדֶֽךָּ׃
To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.
אַל-תִּירָא כִּֽי-יַעֲשִׁר אִישׁ כִּֽי-יִרְבֶּה כְּבוֹד בֵּיתֽוֹ׃
Be not thou afraid when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased;
כִּי לֹא בְמוֹתוֹ יִקַּח הַכֹּל לֹא-יֵרֵד אַחֲרָיו כְּבוֹדֽוֹ׃
For when he dieth he shall carry away: nothing his glory shall not descend after him.
רוּמָה עַל-הַשָּׁמַיִם אֱלֹהִים עַל כָּל-הָאָרֶץ כְּבוֹדֶֽךָ׃
Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; let thy glory be above all the earth.
עוּרָה כְבוֹדִי עוּרָֽה הַנֵּבֶל וְכִנּוֹר אָעִירָה שָּֽׁחַר׃
Awake up, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.
רוּמָה עַל-שָׁמַיִם אֱלֹהִים עַל כָּל-הָאָרֶץ כְּבוֹדֶֽךָ׃
Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: let thy glory be above all the earth.
עַל-אֱלֹהִים יִשְׁעִי וּכְבוֹדִי צוּר-עֻזִּי מַחְסִי בֵּֽאלֹהִֽים׃
In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
כֵּן בַּקֹּדֶשׁ חֲזִיתִךָ לִרְאוֹת עֻזְּךָ וּכְבוֹדֶֽךָ׃
To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.
זַמְּרוּ כְבֽוֹד-שְׁמוֹ שִׂימוּ כָבוֹד תְּהִלָּתֽוֹ׃
Sing forth the honour of his name: make his praise glorious.
וּבָרוּךְ׀ שֵׁם כְּבוֹדוֹ לְעוֹלָם וְיִמָּלֵא כְבוֹדוֹ אֶת-כֹּל הָאָרֶץ אָמֵן׀ וְאָמֵֽן׃
And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.
בַּעֲצָתְךָ תַנְחֵנִי וְאַחַר כָּבוֹד תִּקָּחֵֽנִי׃
Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.
עָזְרֵנוּ׀ אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׁעֵנוּ עַל-דְּבַר כְּבֽוֹד-שְׁמֶךָ וְהַצִּילֵנוּ וְכַפֵּר עַל-חַטֹּאתֵינוּ לְמַעַן שְׁמֶֽךָ׃
Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for thy name's sake.
כִּי שֶׁמֶשׁ׀ וּמָגֵן יְהוָה אֱלֹהִים חֵן וְכָבוֹד יִתֵּן יְהוָה לֹא יִמְנַע-טוֹב לַֽהֹלְכִים בְּתָמִֽים׃
For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
אַךְ קָרוֹב לִירֵאָיו יִשְׁעוֹ לִשְׁכֹּן כָּבוֹד בְּאַרְצֵֽנוּ׃
Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.
סַפְּרוּ בַגּוֹיִם כְּבוֹדוֹ בְּכָל-הָֽעַמִּים נִפְלְאוֹתָֽיו׃
Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.
הָבוּ לַיהוָה מִשְׁפְּחוֹת עַמִּים הָבוּ לַיהוָה כָּבוֹד וָעֹֽז׃
Give unto the LORD, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.
הָבוּ לַיהוָה כְּבוֹד שְׁמוֹ שְׂאֽוּ-מִנְחָה וּבֹאוּ לְחַצְרוֹתָֽיו׃
Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.
הִגִּידוּ הַשָּׁמַיִם צִדְקוֹ וְרָאוּ כָל-הָעַמִּים כְּבוֹדֽוֹ׃
The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.
וְיִֽירְאוּ גוֹיִם אֶת-שֵׁם יְהוָה וְֽכָל-מַלְכֵי הָאָרֶץ אֶת-כְּבוֹדֶֽךָ׃
So the heathen shall fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth thy glory.
כִּֽי-בָנָה יְהוָה צִיּוֹן נִרְאָה בִּכְבוֹדֽוֹ׃
When the LORD shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory.
יְהִי כְבוֹד יְהוָה לְעוֹלָם יִשְׂמַח יְהוָה בְּמַעֲשָֽׂיו׃
The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever: the LORD shall rejoice in his works.
וַיָּמִירוּ אֶת-כְּבוֹדָם בְּתַבְנִית שׁוֹר אֹכֵל עֵֽשֶׂב׃
Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass.
נָכוֹן לִבִּי אֱלֹהִים אָשִׁירָה וַאֲזַמְּרָה אַף-כְּבוֹדִֽי׃
O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.
רוּמָה עַל-שָׁמַיִם אֱלֹהִים וְעַל כָּל-הָאָרֶץ כְּבוֹדֶֽךָ׃
Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;
פִּזַּר׀ נָתַן לָאֶבְיוֹנִים צִדְקָתוֹ עֹמֶדֶת לָעַד קַרְנוֹ תָּרוּם בְּכָבֽוֹד׃
He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.
רָם עַל-כָּל-גּוֹיִם׀ יְהוָה עַל הַשָּׁמַיִם כְּבוֹדֽוֹ׃
The LORD is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.
לֹא לָנוּ יְהוָה לֹא לָנוּ כִּֽי-לְשִׁמְךָ תֵּן כָּבוֹד עַל-חַסְדְּךָ עַל-אֲמִתֶּֽךָ׃
Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake.
וְיָשִׁירוּ בְּדַרְכֵי יְהוָה כִּֽי-גָדוֹל כְּבוֹד יְהוָֽה׃
Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.
הֲדַר כְּבוֹד הוֹדֶךָ וְדִבְרֵי נִפְלְאֹתֶיךָ אָשִֽׂיחָה׃
I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.
כְּבוֹד מַלְכוּתְךָ יֹאמֵרוּ וּגְבוּרָתְךָ יְדַבֵּֽרוּ׃
They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power;
לְהוֹדִיעַ׀ לִבְנֵי הָאָדָם גְּבוּרֹתָיו וּכְבוֹד הֲדַר מַלְכוּתֽוֹ׃
To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.
