And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith the LORD, to deliver thee.
Ὑμῖν γὰρ λέγω τοῖς ἔθνεσιν· ἐφ' ὅσον μὲν εἰμι ἐγὼ ἐθνῶν ἀπόστολος τὴν διακονίαν μου δοξάζω
For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:
οὗ ἐγενόμην διάκονος κατὰ τὴν δωρεὰν τῆς χάριτος τοῦ θεοῦ τὴν δοθεῖσαν μοι κατὰ τὴν ἐνέργειαν τῆς δυνάμεως αὐτοῦ
Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.
εἰς ὃ ἐτέθην ἐγὼ κῆρυξ καὶ ἀπόστολος καὶ διδάσκαλος ἐθνῶν
Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.
καὶ γνόντες τὴν χάριν τὴν δοθεῖσάν μοι Ἰάκωβος καὶ Κηφᾶς καὶ Ἰωάννης οἱ δοκοῦντες στῦλοι εἶναι δεξιὰς ἔδωκαν ἐμοὶ καὶ Βαρναβᾷ κοινωνίας ἵνα ἡμεῖς εἰς τὰ ἔθνη αὐτοὶ δὲ εἰς τὴν περιτομήν·
And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.
γνωστὸν οὖν ἔστω ὑμῖν ὅτι τοῖς ἔθνεσιν ἀπεστάλη τὸ σωτήριον τοῦ θεοῦ· αὐτοὶ καὶ ἀκούσονται
Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.

Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD.

And the soldiers' counsel was to kill the prisoners, lest any of them should swim out, and escape.

That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the might Gentiles be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.
αἰτούμενοι χάριν κατ' αὐτοῦ ὅπως μεταπέμψηται αὐτὸν εἰς Ἰερουσαλήμ ἐνέδραν ποιοῦντες ἀνελεῖν αὐτὸν κατὰ τὴν ὁδόν
And desired favour against him, that he would send for him to Jerusalem, laying wait in the way to kill him.
εὐθέως δὲ τότε τὸν Παῦλον ἐξαπέστειλαν οἱ ἀδελφοὶ πορεύεσθαι ὡς ἐπὶ τὴν θάλασσαν ὑπέμενον δὲ ὅ τε Σιλᾶς καὶ ὁ Τιμόθεος ἐκεῖ
And then immediately the brethren sent away the Paul to go as it were to sea: but Silas and Timotheus abode still. there
Ἀκούσαντες δὲ καὶ γενόμενοι πλήρεις θυμοῦ ἔκραζον λέγοντες Μεγάλη ἡ Ἄρτεμις Ἐφεσίων
And when they heard these sayings, they were full of wrath, and cried out, saying, Great is Diana of the Ephesians.
ὡς δὲ ἐγένετο ὁρμὴ τῶν ἐθνῶν τε καὶ Ἰουδαίων σὺν τοῖς ἄρχουσιν αὐτῶν ὑβρίσαι καὶ λιθοβολῆσαι αὐτούς
And when there was made an assault both of the Gentiles, and also of the Jews with their rulers, to use despitefully, them and to stone them,
διότι ἐγώ εἰμι μετὰ σοῦ καὶ οὐδεὶς ἐπιθήσεταί σοι τοῦ κακῶσαί σε διότι λαός ἐστίν μοι πολὺς ἐν τῇ πόλει ταύτῃ
For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city.
καὶ παῤῥησιαζόμενος ἐν τῷ ὀνόματί τοῦ κυρίου Ἰησοῦ ἐλάλει τε καὶ συνεζήτει πρὸς τοὺς Ἑλληνιστάς οἱ δὲ ἐπεχείρουν αὐτόν ἀνελεῖν
And he spake boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus, and disputed against the Grecians: but they went about to slay him.
