Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:
Γινώσκετε ἄρα ὅτι οἱ ἐκ πίστεως οὗτοι εἰσιν υἱοί Ἀβραάμ
Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
καὶ αὐτοὶ ὡς λίθοι ζῶντες οἰκοδομεῖσθε οἶκος πνευματικὸς ἱεράτευμα ἅγιον ἀνενέγκαι πνευματικὰς θυσίας εὐπροσδέκτους τῷ θεῷ διὰ Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ
Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
καὶ πατέρα περιτομῆς τοῖς οὐκ ἐκ περιτομῆς μόνον ἀλλὰ καὶ τοῖς στοιχοῦσιν τοῖς ἴχνεσιν τῆς ἐν τῇ ἀκροβυστίᾳ πίστεως τοῦ πατρὸς ἡμῶν Ἀβραάμ
And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet that uncircumcised.
וְֽהָיָה מִסְפַּר בְּנֵֽי-יִשְׂרָאֵל כְּחוֹל הַיָּם אֲשֶׁר לֹֽא-יִמַּד וְלֹא יִסָּפֵר וְֽהָיָה בִּמְקוֹם אֲשֶׁר-יֵאָמֵר לָהֶם לֹֽא-עַמִּי אַתֶּם יֵאָמֵר לָהֶם בְּנֵי אֵֽל-חָֽי׃
Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God.
οὐ γὰρ ὁ ἐν τῷ φανερῷ Ἰουδαῖός ἐστιν οὐδὲ ἡ ἐν τῷ φανερῷ ἐν σαρκὶ περιτομή
For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
אַךְ טוֹב לְיִשְׂרָאֵל אֱלֹהִים לְבָרֵי לֵבָֽב׃
Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart.
דַּבֵּר אֶֽל-אַהֲרֹן וְאֶל-בָּנָיו לֵאמֹר כֹּה תְבָֽרְכוּ אֶת-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אָמוֹר לָהֶֽם׃
Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them,
εἶδεν ὁ Ἰησοῦς τὸν Ναθαναὴλ ἐρχόμενον πρὸς αὐτὸν καὶ λέγει περὶ αὐτοῦ Ἴδε ἀληθῶς Ἰσραηλίτης ἐν ᾧ δόλος οὐκ ἔστιν

In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.
וְרוּחַ לָֽבְשָׁה אֶת-עֲמָשַׂי רֹאשׁ (השלושים) הַשָּׁלִישִׁים לְךָ דָוִיד וְעִמְּךָ בֶן-יִשַׁי שָׁלוֹם׀ שָׁלוֹם לְךָ וְשָׁלוֹם לְעֹזְרֶךָ כִּי עֲזָֽרְךָ אֱלֹהֶיךָ וַיְקַבְּלֵם דָּוִיד וַֽיִּתְּנֵם בְּרָאשֵׁי הַגְּדֽוּד׃
Then the spirit came upon Amasai, who was chief of the captains, and he said, Thine are we, David, and on thy side, thou son of Jesse: peace, peace be unto thee, and peace be to thine helpers; for thy God helpeth thee. Then David received them, and made them captains of the band.
הֵיטִיבָה יְהוָה לַטּוֹבִים וְלִֽישָׁרִים בְּלִבּוֹתָֽם׃
Do good, O LORD, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.
ταῦτα λελάληκα ὑμῖν ἵνα ἐν ἐμοὶ εἰρήνην ἔχητε· ἐν τῷ κόσμῳ θλῖψιν ἔχετε ἀλλὰ θαρσεῖτε ἐγὼ νενίκηκα τὸν κόσμον
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Λέγω δέ πνεύματι περιπατεῖτε καὶ ἐπιθυμίαν σαρκὸς οὐ μὴ τελέσητε
This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
εἰ ζῶμεν πνεύματι πνεύματι καὶ στοιχῶμεν
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
Εἰρήνην ἀφίημι ὑμῖν εἰρήνην τὴν ἐμὴν δίδωμι ὑμῖν· οὐ καθὼς ὁ κόσμος δίδωσιν ἐγὼ δίδωμι ὑμῖν μὴ ταρασσέσθω ὑμῶν ἡ καρδία μηδὲ δειλιάτω
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not be your heart troubled, neither let it be afraid.
πλὴν εἰς ὃ ἐφθάσαμεν τῷ αὐτῷ στοιχεῖν κανόνι τὸ ἀυτο φρονεῖν
Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.
χάρις ὑμῖν καὶ εἰρήνη ἀπὸ θεοῦ πατρὸς καὶ κυρίου ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ
Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ,
