For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him.

For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.
διὰ τοῦτο λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι ἀρθήσεται ἀφ' ὑμῶν ἡ βασιλεία τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ δοθήσεται ἔθνει ποιοῦντι τοὺς καρποὺς αὐτῆς
Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
ὃς γὰρ ἂν ἔχῃ δοθήσεται αὐτῷ· καὶ ὃς οὐκ ἔχει καὶ ὃ ἔχει ἀρθήσεται ἀπ' αὐτοῦ
For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath.
ἄρατε οὖν ἀπ' αὐτοῦ τὸ τάλαντον καὶ δότε τῷ ἔχοντι τὰ δέκα τάλαντα·
Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.
καὶ ἐβάστασας καὶ ὑπομονὴν ἔχεις καὶ διὰ τὸ ὄνομά μου κεκοπίακας καὶ οὐ κέκμηκας
And hast borne, and hast patience, and for sake my name's hast laboured, and hast not fainted.
לָכֵן נְאֻם-יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אָמוֹר אָמַרְתִּי בֵּֽיתְךָ וּבֵית אָבִיךָ יִתְהַלְּכוּ לְפָנַי עַד-עוֹלָם וְעַתָּה נְאֻם-יְהוָה חָלִילָה לִּי כִּֽי-מְכַבְּדַי אֲכַבֵּד וּבֹזַי יֵקָֽלּוּ׃
Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.
וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו שְׁמוּאֵל קָרַע יְהוָה אֶֽת-מַמְלְכוּת יִשְׂרָאֵל מֵֽעָלֶיךָ הַיּוֹם וּנְתָנָהּ לְרֵֽעֲךָ הַטּוֹב מִמֶּֽךָּ׃
And Samuel said unto him, The LORD hath rent the kingdom of Israel from thee this day, and hath given it to a neighbour of thine, that is better than thou.
εἶπεν δὲ ἐν ἑαυτῷ ὁ οἰκονόμος Τί ποιήσω ὅτι ὁ κύριός μου ἀφαιρεῖται τὴν οἰκονομίαν ἀπ' ἐμοῦ σκάπτειν οὐκ ἰσχύω ἐπαιτεῖν αἰσχύνομαι
Then the steward said within himself, What shall I do? for my lord taketh away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed.
ἰδού ἔρχομαι ταχύ· κράτει ὃ ἔχεις ἵνα μηδεὶς λάβῃ τὸν στέφανόν σου
Behold, I come quickly: hold fast that which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
וְחַסְדִּי לֹֽא-יָסוּר מִמֶּנּוּ כַּֽאֲשֶׁר הֲסִרֹתִי מֵעִם שָׁאוּל אֲשֶׁר הֲסִרֹתִי מִלְּפָנֶֽיךָ׃
But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee.
Γέγραπται γὰρ ἐν βίβλῳ ψαλμῶν Γενηθήτω ἡ ἔπαυλις αὐτοῦ ἔρημος καὶ μὴ ἔστω ὁ κατοικῶν ἐν αὐτῇ καί Τὴν ἐπισκοπὴν αὐτοῦ λάβοι ἕτερος
For it is written in the book of Psalms, his Let habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick let another take.
יִֽהְיֽוּ-יָמָיו מְעַטִּים פְּקֻדָּתוֹ יִקַּח אַחֵֽר׃
Let his days be few; and let another take his office.
Μετὰ ταῦτα ἦν ἑορτὴ τῶν Ἰουδαίων καὶ ἀνέβη ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἰς Ἱεροσόλυμα
After this there was a feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
יַעַן אֲשֶׁר יְשָׁרְתוּ אוֹתָם לִפְנֵי גִלּֽוּלֵיהֶם וְהָיוּ לְבֵֽית-יִשְׂרָאֵל לְמִכְשׁוֹל עָוֹן עַל-כֵּן נָשָׂאתִי יָדִי עֲלֵיהֶם נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה וְנָשְׂאוּ עֲוֹנָֽם׃
Because they ministered unto them before their idols, and caused the house of Israel to fall into iniquity; therefore have I lifted up mine hand against them, saith the Lord GOD, and they shall bear their iniquity.
