Luke 22

καὶ ἀπελθὼν συνελάλησεν τοῖς ἀρχιερεῦσιν καὶ τοῖς στρατηγοῖς τὸ πῶς αὐτόν παραδῷ αὐτοῖς

And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them.

εἶπεν δὲ ὁ Ἰησοῦς πρὸς τοὺς παραγενομένους ἐπ' αὐτὸν ἀρχιερεῖς καὶ στρατηγοὺς τοῦ ἱεροῦ καὶ πρεσβυτέρους Ὡς ἐπὶ λῃστὴν ἐξεληλύθατε μετὰ μαχαιρῶν καὶ ξύλων

Then Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and the elders, which were come to him, Be ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and staves?

Acts 5

ὡς δὲ ἤκουσαν τοὺς λόγους τούτους ὅ τε ἱερεύς καὶ ὅ στρατηγὸς τοῦ ἱεροῦ καὶ οἱ ἀρχιερεῖς διηπόρουν περὶ αὐτῶν τί ἂν γένοιτο τοῦτο

Now when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these things, they doubted of them whereunto this would grow.

τότε ἀπελθὼν ὁ στρατηγὸς σὺν τοῖς ὑπηρέταις ἦγαγεν αὐτούς οὐ μετὰ βίας ἐφοβοῦντο γὰρ τὸν λαόν ἵνα μὴ λιθασθῶσιν

Then and went the captain with the officers, brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned.

Acts 16

καὶ προσαγαγόντες αὐτοὺς τοῖς στρατηγοῖς εἶπον Οὗτοι οἱ ἄνθρωποι ἐκταράσσουσιν ἡμῶν τὴν πόλιν Ἰουδαῖοι ὑπάρχοντες

And brought them to the magistrates, saying, These men, being Jews, do exceedingly trouble our city,

καὶ συνεπέστη ὁ ὄχλος κατ' αὐτῶν καὶ οἱ στρατηγοὶ περιῤῥήξαντες αὐτῶν τὰ ἱμάτια ἐκέλευον ῥαβδίζειν

And the multitude rose up together against them: and the magistrates rent off their clothes, and commanded to beat them.

Ἡμέρας δὲ γενομένης ἀπέστειλαν οἱ στρατηγοὶ τοὺς ῥαβδούχους λέγοντες Ἀπόλυσον τοὺς ἀνθρώπους ἐκείνους

And when it was day, the magistrates sent the serjeants, saying, Let those men go.

ἀπήγγειλεν δὲ ὁ δεσμοφύλαξ τοὺς λόγους τούτους πρὸς τὸν Παῦλον ὅτι ἀπεστάλκασιν οἱ στρατηγοὶ ἵνα ἀπολυθῆτε· νῦν οὖν ἐξελθόντες πορεύεσθε ἐν εἰρήνῃ

And the keeper the of prison told this saying to Paul, The magistrates have sent to let you go: now therefore depart, and go in peace.

ἀνήγγειλάν δὲ τοῖς στρατηγοῖς οἱ ῥαβδοῦχοι τὰ ῥήματα ταῦτα καὶ ἐφοβήθησαν ἀκούσαντες ὅτι Ῥωμαῖοί εἰσιν

And the serjeants told these words unto the magistrates: and they feared, when they heard that they were Romans.
