And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
διὰ τοῦτο ἐν ὑμῖν πολλοὶ ἀσθενεῖς καὶ ἄῤῥωστοι καὶ κοιμῶνται ἱκανοί
For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
שׁוֹמֵר מִצְוָה לֹא יֵדַע דָּבָר רָע וְעֵת וּמִשְׁפָּט יֵדַע לֵב חָכָֽם׃
Whoso keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise man's heart discerneth both time and judgment.
κρινόμενοι δὲ ὑπὸ κυρίου παιδευόμεθα ἵνα μὴ σὺν τῷ κόσμῳ κατακριθῶμεν
But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
Πρὸ πάντων δέ ἀδελφοί μου μὴ ὀμνύετε μήτε τὸν οὐρανὸν μήτε τὴν γῆν μήτε ἄλλον τινὰ ὅρκον· ἤτω δὲ ὑμῶν τὸ Ναὶ ναὶ καὶ τὸ Οὒ οὔ ἵνα μὴ εἴς ὑπὸκρίσιν πέσητε
But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by earth, neither by any other oath: but let your the yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.
Μὴ πολλοὶ διδάσκαλοι γίνεσθε ἀδελφοί μου εἰδότες ὅτι μεῖζον κρίμα ληψόμεθα
My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.
ὥστε ὁ ἀντιτασσόμενος τῇ ἐξουσίᾳ τῇ τοῦ θεοῦ διαταγῇ ἀνθέστηκεν οἱ δὲ ἀνθεστηκότες ἑαυτοῖς κρίμα λήψονται
Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
