Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.
καὶ ἰδού σεισμὸς μέγας ἐγένετο ἐν τῇ θαλάσσῃ ὥστε τὸ πλοῖον καλύπτεσθαι ὑπὸ τῶν κυμάτων αὐτὸς δὲ ἐκάθευδεν
And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.
Συλλαβόντες δὲ αὐτὸν ἤγαγον καὶ εἰσήγαγον αὐτὸν εἰς τὸν οἶκον τοῦ ἀρχιερέως· ὁ δὲ Πέτρος ἠκολούθει μακρόθεν
Then took they him, and led him, and brought him into the high priest's house. And Peter followed afar off.

Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto my soul.
וַיֹּאמֶר קָרָאתִי מִצָּרָה לִי אֶל-יְהוָה וַֽיַּעֲנֵנִי מִבֶּטֶן שְׁאוֹל שִׁוַּעְתִּי שָׁמַעְתָּ קוֹלִֽי׃
And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice.
יָחוֹגּוּ וְיָנוּעוּ כַּשִּׁכּוֹר וְכָל-חָכְמָתָם תִּתְבַּלָּֽע׃
They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits' end.
אֲפָפוּנִי׀ חֶבְלֵי-מָוֶת וּמְצָרֵי שְׁאוֹל מְצָאוּנִי צָרָה וְיָגוֹן אֶמְצָֽא׃
The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.
קוּמָה יְהוָה׀ הוֹשִׁיעֵנִי אֱלֹהַי כִּֽי-הִכִּיתָ אֶת-כָּל-אֹיְבַי לֶחִי שִׁנֵּי רְשָׁעִים שִׁבַּֽרְתָּ׃
Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.
Καὶ ὄντος τοῦ Πέτρου ἐν τῇ αὐλῇ κάτω ἔρχεται μία τῶν παιδισκῶν τοῦ ἀρχιερέως
And as Peter was beneath in the palace, there cometh one of the maids of the high priest:
וַיַּשְׁכֵּם מְשָׁרֵת אִישׁ הָֽאֱלֹהִים לָקוּם וַיֵּצֵא וְהִנֵּה-חַיִל סוֹבֵב אֶת-הָעִיר וְסוּס וָרָכֶב וַיֹּאמֶר נַֽעֲרוֹ אֵלָיו אֲהָהּ אֲדֹנִי אֵיכָה נַֽעֲשֶֽׂה׃
And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do?
Ἦν δὲ Σίμων Πέτρος ἑστὼς καὶ θερμαινόμενος εἶπον οὖν αὐτῷ Μὴ καὶ σὺ ἐκ τῶν μαθητῶν αὐτοῦ εἶ ἠρνήσατο ἐκεῖνος καὶ εἶπεν Οὐκ εἰμί
And Simon Peter stood and warmed himself. They said therefore unto him, Art not thou also one of his disciples? He denied it, and said, I am not.
καὶ τῇ ὑπερβολῇ τῶν ἀποκαλύψεων ἵνα μὴ ὑπεραίρωμαι ἐδόθη μοι σκόλοψ τῇ σαρκί ἄγγελος Σατᾶν ἵνα με κολαφίζῃ ἵνα μὴ ὑπεραίρωμαι
And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.
Ὁ δὲ Πέτρος ἔξω ἐκάθητο ἐν τῇ αὐλῇ· καὶ προσῆλθεν αὐτῷ μία παιδίσκη λέγουσα Καὶ σὺ ἦσθα μετὰ Ἰησοῦ τοῦ Γαλιλαίου
Now Peter sat without in the palace: and a damsel came unto him, saying, Thou also wast with Jesus of Galilee.
