Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment: and it was early; and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled; but that they might eat the passover.

And straightway in the morning the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council, and bound Jesus, and carried away, him and delivered him to Pilate.
ἦν δὲ παρασκευὴ τοῦ πάσχα ὥρα δὲ ὡσεὶ ἕκτη καὶ λέγει τοῖς Ἰουδαίοις Ἴδε ὁ βασιλεὺς ὑμῶν
And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King!
Τότε οἱ στρατιῶται τοῦ ἡγεμόνος παραλαβόντες τὸν Ἰησοῦν εἰς τὸ πραιτώριον συνήγαγον ἐπ' αὐτὸν ὅλην τὴν σπεῖραν
Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the common hall, and gathered unto him the whole band of soldiers.

And the Jews' passover was nigh at hand: and many went out of the country up to Jerusalem before the passover, to purify themselves.

When the morning was come, all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death:

Thou shalt therefore sacrifice the passover unto the LORD thy God, of the flock and the herd, in the place which the LORD shall choose to place his name there.
λέγοντες ὅτι πρὸς ἄνδρας ἀκροβυστίαν ἔχοντας Εἰσῆλθες καὶ συνέφαγες αὐτοῖς
Saying, Thou wentest in to men uncircumcised, and didst eat with them.
הִנֵּה אַתֶּם בֹּטְחִים לָכֶם עַל-דִּבְרֵי הַשָּׁקֶר לְבִלְתִּי הוֹעִֽיל׃
Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit.
כִּי רַגְלֵיהֶם לָרַע יָרוּצוּ וִֽימַהֲרוּ לִשְׁפָּךְ-דָּֽם׃
For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood.
Καὶ ὡς ἐγένετο ἡμέρα συνήχθη τὸ πρεσβυτέριον τοῦ λαοῦ ἀρχιερεῖς τε καὶ γραμματεῖς καὶ ἀνήγαγον αὐτὸν εἰς τὸ συνέδριον ἑαυτῶν λέγοντες
And as soon as it was day, the elders of the people and the chief priests and the scribes came together, and led him into their council, saying,
וַיַּֽעֲשׂוּ בְנֵֽי-יִשְׂרָאֵל הַֽנִּמְצְאִים אֶת-הַפֶּסַח בָּעֵת הַהִיא וְאֶת-חַג הַמַּצּוֹת שִׁבְעַת יָמִֽים׃
And the children of Israel that were present kept the passover at that time, and the feast of unleavened bread seven days.
